Finally, you came back to enjoy mother Mead for some lake view and warm fresh air. Just left that exact camp ground a week ago to a new location and while I was there camping, I was able to watch and make a small comment on your "Pioneer Saloon" venture. Glad to see you outside enjoying, that spot you were on is one of the best one in that camp ground only too small for my rig. Stay wild and keep up the good stuff coming. Howdy, from the Nevada desert!🤠
Oh man it was so nice out there! The perfect time to be in lake mead is now lol thanks for watching and leaving a comment J! 🤙🏽Much appreciated. How big of a rig do you have??
We'd love to go there more often if it wasnt 45 mins away from out house lol! Definitely give Boulder Beach a shot! Nice campground. Thanks for watching Chris!
I like trying new beers, it really depends on what i'm in the mood for but my go to's are Hazy IPAs (Juice Force is really good), if i'm just wanting to sip on a crisp beer in the afternoon like a Pilsner or Lager we like getting 805s these days
We were there that weekend. We walked our Corsos through every loop. 77 is the best spot for sure. We had spot 57. Nice pull, though, with a nice view of the sunrise over the lake and the moon in the evening.
@@Kadenventures That was our second time there. The first time was supposed to be in the valley of fire, but we cite you had reserved was just awful, so we got lucky and found a spot there. We've tint camp all my life. But we just bought a pop-up camper 2 months ago.. I enjoy your content. I'm really looking forward to doing some dispersed camping.
@Kadenventures I'm really liking it! I love tent camping, but the season is short because the ground becomes cold quick lol. Our coldest night in the camper was 42. Didn't need to use the heated mattress or the heater. Now I think in the mid 20s would be very doable lol
Clean the grill with a brush after done cooking while it’s warm and the next day it will be perfect to put away then. Awesome video! Lake Mead nice local spot.
I'll keep that in mind for next time! What kind of brush do you use to clean grills? We've heard those wire ones that usually come with grill kits arent good so we've been using an onion to clean the one at our house lol Thanks for watching!!
We also use onions and quickly use the wire brush. They key is to clean it while the grill is warm. The next day, it gets cold or dries up, makes it more difficult to clean. Seriously, considering a GFC camper now, soonest availability is February. Worth the wait. Really enjoy your videos, keep it going. Cheers! @@Kadenventures
@@Girlsontop21 I'll do that next time! Thank you! Thats awesome! The GFC has been a great upgrade! We've enjoyed it. There are a bunch of camper options out there these days so be sure to shop around and make sure its a good fit for you! For the price and what you get the GFC is well worth it! Cheers!
Hello great videos my friend, on your fire pit hose issue. You say you get gas on and off. The black knob that you screw onto the propane tank has a small steel ball inside of it. If you open the gas valve to fast it will jam the small steel ball l. It’s almost like a check valve and that won’t allow the gas to flow through. If you open it slowly you should get gas every time!
Thank you! Good to know. I actually got the new hose and its been working great/consistently but ill keep that in mind in case this hose starts acting up! Thank you!
Pate, jalepenos, cilantro, pickled carrots, daikon and meat with a vietnamese baguette would be a traditional banh mi sandwwich. Banh mi is all about the bread though, without the right bread its just wont be as good
Good Stuff. I'm actually headed out to Bolder for a long weekend this Friday. Agreed it sucks to have to listen to generators all the time but its just so close to Vegas its easy for me to get out there for a couple of days. I don't think I have ever opened a can of soda, beer, or anything without tapping on it first. You don't want it to spray everywhere!! LOL
Nice! Have a great time out there! I agree with you though, camping close to town and having a reservation at a campground is just so convenient and makes it easy for you to get out and camp! Even with the generators at campgrounds its not bad bec they are suppose to shut them down at night at least so its a small inconvenience for a convenient relaxing weekend camping close to town! Cheers Jay!
@@Kadenventures Thanks!! I'm looking forward to a break!!! Not to keep beating a dead horse...but how many hours would you estimate you can run the Ignik with a 20lb propane bottle. I'm still trying to justify buying one to myself LOL. Thanks!!!
lol no worries man! If i had to put number of hours... i'd say i've had this same tank for about 3 months now, taken it out on at least 1 trip a week and ran it for about 5 hours per trip.. so lets say about 60 hours at least for 1 full tank? But when I run it i'm conscious about turning it down if were not actively using it then pumping it up when were around the fire for some ambiance @@vegasjay3624
@@Kadenventures Thanks a ton!! I really appreciate it. Just trying to decide if I want one more thing to drag camping. Just got back from a nice trip at Boulder. Hopefully see you out there sometime!
@@vegasjay3624 yeah for sure! I dont blame you trying to keep the gear list down for trips lol this is best for when you know there is a burn ban whereever your camping, campgrounds you can usually use the firepits onsite
My exact issue with my Coleman grill! Its technically a tail gate grill but since it has legs it just takes too much room in the truck bed, i'm definitely going to be taking this thing along with us much more often for grilling! Thanks for watching Nick!

Best banh mi sandwiches I have found in Vegas are at Co Anh Noodle and Sandwhich Kitchen. If you can, snag a banh bao and pate chaud while you are at it! My go to spot in town! Second would probably be Saigon Baguette. Both places are on Spring Mountain off the 15. I'll give you a pass on the banh mi sandwhich you made bc it seems like you followed some recipe. Some of the ingredients were off. But who cares really as long as it was good. 1.Bread is typically a French baguette type. I prefer the rolls myself but they are different from the French rolls you find in a store. Vietnamese have their own twist to the bread but yes some of them can be difficult if they are not on the more "fresh" side. They tend to get hard very quickly and some do have that trait where it can be rough on the palate. 2. Needs a pickled vegetable. The carrots (and typically daikon) are pickled in a banh mi. So your call on the need for something pickled is on point! 3. I love pate spread in my banh mi. Lots of different of banh mi sandwiches will have pate and mayo. Imo gives it a great flavor. Ymmv based on your preferences. Thanks for the vid and camping spot recommendations! Will have to check em out!
Thank you!! Appreciate the feedback, we will try those places out! And yeah your right, I was following some recipe that may not have been on point lol I can see how a fresh French Baguette would be great for this! Pickled carrotts and daikon would also have been a great addition and exactly what the sandwich was missing! I didnt even know Pate spread was a thing! I had to google it but now I know! Thank you and Thansk for watching! much appreciated!
Try Dan Han or Saigon Baguette both are on Spring Mountain Road. Hit me up for these quick one nighters brotha, moved to Vegas two years ago and need someone to go camping with in the area.
Thanks man! Your not the only one to suggest Saigon Baguette! I'll definitively add those to the list, thanks for the recommendations! Hit me up in IG, i'm hoping to get a group trip together soon! Cheers!
