It didn't look like you're power divider was in when you were stuck. Just the rear axle was spinning. It still may not have helped in the sand. Luckily you found a friendly camper to help. I love your channel, you both are very entertaining.
With a power divider - the power would go to the opposite side, front axle (that's the reason for the 'X' symbol on the switch). Only with full lock up (rare on highway tractors - usually on off road such as dump trucks or log haulers) would you see power to both axles on the same side.

I had to chuckle at David's expense with the stuck situation. Glad to see I'm not the only one that temper arises from getting in that situation. Mine was in Rodanthe (NC OBX) moving on the sound side to a spot from the first one assigned to me for the reason of too much soft sand! So I was able to move to another one that looked...looked like a pull through (not just a back in) and my Class A had to find the only soft spot on that lot my feet did not when I walked it! Thankfully I got it out with the help of some wood planks found nearby (hint-I wasn't the only one who must have fell victim there). I did manage to get another lot and spent the next 30 days there. Funny how something like that can spike the blood pressure! Glad all was well with some friendly help. And yes, the desert can be a strange place with it's weather. You'll survive!
Hey KB, thanks for the comment. I was obviously chuckling too and making fun of the situation saying I'm fired. David quickly calmed down and we both had a good laugh over it. Thanks for all your support on the Channel, we really appreciate it! 😊
Great video, great music! I would not have expected snow in the Mojave desert! Definitely would come back to this awesome landscape. Safe travels, don‘t get stuck again, thank god to your shovel 😅.
That went too fast! I loved seeing that snow in the desert. Weird stuff happening. Loved seeing that you all have issues just like anyone else and you just are so prepared that you handle them with ease …mat least one camera. That’s for the entertainment. Happy Easter and safe travels.
Lol. It helps that David and I are best friends and have been married for 35 years. 🥰 we know each others limits and how much space to give each other. 😊 Thanks for the comment and watching the Channel 😊
The neighbors look out and see you guys coming and say "Honey there goes the neighborhood". LOL!! They just thought that they were out in the wilderness!!!!! Great video as always. Thanks.

What an awesome adventure 😎 Thanks for taking us along. It's been a long time since I visited the Snake River, we were there to watch Evil Knievel jumped the Snake River a lifetime experience 😎😎
Just sad that you just had the full lock diff installed and gets stuck in desert! Not in a snow bank or mud no soft ground!! Stay safe and thanks for the great video!! And made us finally see David as an human who can lost it too!!🤪👍🥰
Hey Marco! Thank you for your kind words and understanding. We really appreciate all your wonderful support of the Channel. Yes, David getting mad is a rare event indeed!
I've always admired how David is always so chilled and calm. It was a refreshing change to see him a little rattled when you got stuck, he is actually human 😅. Love your content keep it up and keep them wheels rolling (sorry no pun) travel safe!
Thank you. It was very frustrating since we spent a lot of money to add the tandem drive axles... and we still got stuck! Nice neighbor saved the day. We'll get the drives worked out. Appreciate your time watching the channel. 😃
Some "stupid" advice, never turn the wheels standing still on gravel, and always go the opposite (back out) direction getting out when stuck. Love you guys, happy camping.
Happy to find that I'm not the only one who chases the drafts! There are insulated curtains that you could consider for the doorway. And if possible, you could add magnets to hold it in place. Consider this a learning experience - it does snow in the desert!
Glad you got out ok. Good thing you had that extra part for the compartment door. I do the same thing, if something breaks like that, I will end up buying an extra one just in case.
Thanks, Russ. It was fortunate that it broke earlier and I had the part and the know how to repair it. Hope your travels are going well too. Great meeting up the other day.
#BigTruckBigTravels channel is now my most favorite RV channel! Why?? The video content, the still photos, of course. Now, Sondra found the most perfect tee shirt for her….camera. 😊. And, David’s quote from Die Hard! 😂😂 Entertaining for sure. ❤❤
Thanks, Yvette. That t-shirt was perfect for Sondra so she "had" to get it. Glad she did. We really appreciate your time watching the channel and are excited to have you along on the journey. Thanks for being a part of the story.
Thank you so much! Heading your way... eventually! Every once in awhile you hit a pothole on a smooth road. Irritated at the company who did our axel work. Thanks for the comment.
We just show our life on the road. Usually pretty smooth but as with any road, an occasional pothole. Excited to have you along on the journey. Appreciate your comments.
I have an International 4700 mid duty tow truck to tow my travel trailer. Our combined weight is 26,500 #. Last spring at Lake Havasu and was not careful and rear tires bogged down. Like you, after a couple hours of shoveling another camper stopped and helped pull me out. We had to separate the truck from the trailer to get them out separately. Heavy rigs have a lot of advantages but do not get them stuck. I have since purchased an off road travel trailer and looking for a good person to buy my old rigs.
(To the tune of Jingle Bells) Jauntin'' through the cold, in the sands of Mojave, Stickers and t-shirts, Hole rocks on Ring Trail. David can't get out, Sondra calmed him down, For yet another travel day weird happenings abound. (Chorus) Oh! Don't do this! Heed the signs. Stay in warm Lake Mead. You wouldn't need them gauntlet drapes in Moj where it snows in feet, Ay! (repeat) Safe travels and see y'all next Thursday, God's willing.👍🏾🙏🏾
I was raised in Palmdale, Calif not far from Mojave desert. The only thing we had to live is the Mojave Green Rattle Snake, that’s what you needed to watch for those big guys
Thanks for keeping it real! Too many channels only show roses and not the thorns......I think you do a service showing that the lifestyle does have its trials and tribulations. I can understand the frustration with the situation and wasn't directed towards anybody.
Great video. We loved the weather coming in. Sorry you all got stuck. Glad you got 'er out! Hole in the wall looks like a great campground. Enjoyed the walk video, rain snow and cold in the Mojave - very nice.
Love your videos 😊 I don't know if you have them in America, but here in Australia, we have maxtracs that are awesome when you have troubles with soft ground, mud, snow and sand etc. Congrats on 40k
Was it a soft spot and it sank or a rut? I’m glad you had a friendly neighbor that helped you out. That’s nice! Yes, if you own a RV…it’s always something. Carrying tools and extra parts is a must as well as being handy. I hope the rest of your trip is uneventful. Take care!
Well.... it was a soft spot covered in gravel. When I felt Voyager slip, I stopped and tried to back up, and while failing to do so, I turned the wheel which dug Voyager down even deeper. 🫣 I now know not to turn the wheel while in a soft spot and not moving 🥴😇 Thanks for the comment and watching the Channel 🙂
A friend of mine was a foreman at one of the goldmines in the desert in Arizona. It would get so hot in the day they had to wear long sleave white shirts to keep from burning. It was well over 100 degrees. The sand doesn't hold the heat and at night the water would freeze in the buckets.
Maybe next time try dumping the air in the air bags any time your off road & unhooked till you get to hard pavement, reason being is with air in the bags when you are empty the bag like in flat, so to check this leave the air in the bags then put the truck in gear then give it some throttle then watch the truck rear go up at this point no weight on the axels, so emptying the air bags it acts like a solid axel
We dumped the airbags after we got stuck so maybe not soon enough. Probably need to look at a slightly more aggressive tread design for the tires as well. Thanks
@@bigtruckbigtravels only if you are going be off road a lot, most lug tires don't fare very well on pavement, also try not to turn the steering wheel when in static mode always move the vehicle a little before trying to turn the wheel, cuz to much pressure on the steering parts + you can break the frame that's why they moved the steering box out on the end if the frame it used to be just in front of your feet but drivers were turning the steering wheel statically then the frame would break right there, so you can see the problem with that + $$$%
Just stumbled upon y’all… you had me at Im pulling with a Volvo !! 🙌🏻 stunning setup, you got me with your energy, fixing on the fly, and honest portrait of RV life.

Thank you for watching the channel. We're excited to be able to share our experiences with everyone. It's great when our video's elicit memories others have of their experiences. It makes this journey more special. Glad you enjoyed it and yes, we're just getting started.
I always look at being delayed as a God thing, a wreck or tragedy He's keeping me out of. Although, I know better than to try to talk to or ask a question of my husband when he's near breaking point! 😊 I loved seeing the snow bustle in! Always enjoy your videos & photography! God bless, safe travels! Happy Easter. ✝️
Hey Sally, totally agree ✝️ We are always grateful for these times when we are held back. David and I have been married for 35 years and e rarely gets mad and is annoyingly mild mannered about everything. We are best friends and I know how much space he needs and when. Plus I need to not let him see me laugh when he gets mad. 🤭 Thanks for the comment and watching the Channel. 😊
I grew up in Douglas, AZ, 4,000 foot elevation in the Sulphur Springs Valley, and it was not uncommon for us to get about an inch of snow in the winter. We had to hurry outside to try and build a snowman before the snow melted. It was usually gone by the next day unless we were successful in building our snowman. Then he would last awhile longer. I can't tell you how many times I wished for a white Christmas. Of course, that never happened until I moved to KY.😊 I just wanted to remind you to check out the Chiricahua Mountains, especially Chiricahua National Monument. The rock formations are pretty spectacular.
Hello guys, what a day you guys had, I’m glad you had extra parts for that door,be safe out there guys. May god bless you guys. Love watching your videos.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I worked side by side with my hubby doing siding and windows for 30 years. Wish I had a dollar for every time that he “fired” me and told me to go sit in the truck 🤣 It was usually met with me flipping him the bird and me pounding nails harder🤣🤣 Watching all that transpired with you guys in this episode was so entertaining. And I thought we were the only ones that weird things happen to! Good to see you guys taking it all in stride and carrying on!👍🏼💪🏼 Also, we lived in the high desert area of Burns, Oregon and we used to get lots of snow. The desert is so very beautiful with snow gracing the rocks and sagebrush! Thanks again for taking us all along! Safe travels! (Once you dig out of the snow🤣)❤️~Wendy
It don't look like you engaged the differental lock. Should be air toggle switch for diff. Lock. That makes both axles drive. With out it only the rear axle drives. NEVER drive down highway with diff.lock engaged.
We engaged the locker but the Traction Control may not have been turned off. The front axles behaved improperly based on the design. May have to make a call.
Amigos, the next time you have the problem of falling into a hole, try to get out in reverse since your RV. It will have more torque, make the excavation longer towards the teaser part
I spent a few years in Mojave dessert at China Lake/Ridgecrest. It would snow at least once a winter and it was below freezing. Mojave is a “high dessert” so yes it snows. lol.
Take the GPS out of the window, turn off the power and let it sit for 2 hours with the back panel open. It may have just over heated. Then turn it on using the internal battery only, if it comes to life give it a 1/2 hours to run on the battery. Then connect the external power source. If the unit keeps going to a black screen. Connect to the computer to do a internal scan and a update check, and let it go through the check system. Hope this works for you. John
Wow, we were so lucky when leaving when we did a couple weeks ago, going from southern Arizona to western Canada, we didn't hit any snow, and really not that much rain! Timing is everything it seems, so we just lucked out. Safe travels all!!
Gee, being with you both, is like being there in person. What a wonderful way to travel.....living in bed, watching you two walking, climbing, shivering and then relaxing , once back at your travelling home... I will never have the opportunity to do any of this personally, being in South Africa with our Mickey Mouse Money... To conclude.... I love your videos...

I really enjoy your videos. I like to be in the SoCal deserts in any kind of weather. When it's windy and cold just I just stay in the motorhome and enjoy the views out the windows.
Also you should be able to engage the second set of drives now that you have the second set of tandems drives. When you got stuck all the weight of the truck was on the front set of drives.
I've never seen your type of rig with the car on the back in Florida and I live right next to 1-95 in South Florida. I'm surprised nobody has them over here.
Considering they just put in a second powered axle, they may not have one… or maybe don’t know how to use it. They need a power divider and axle locks if they’re gonna be boondocking if you asked me lol
@@georgejulien3286 you mean they ordered it with a tag instead of a live axle that's kind of stupid I deleted my front axle but the rear was a locker it did have an inter lock from factory but I didn't want to run twin screw

😆 thanks, Marco. Fairly disappointed in the axle performance and a call will be made next week for sure.
Because when in full lock if working with caution to not burn the diff!👍
Also congrats on 40 thousand.
Thank you very much. Very humbling to see where the channel is going with all the great people.
That is sooo true. Advice is never stupid... just the people who don't heed it. Thanks
Hi guys ya i understand you to carry your own hardware store take care happy camping
🤔😁👍Yes...unfortunately it's part of the lifestyle but it does keep it interesting. thanks
THANKS! Seeing the weather moving over the 🏜 is a BIG WOW!! Have a Happy Easter Weekend!😊❤❤
Thanks and Happy Easter to you! That was pretty cool and crazy seeing it come in like that!
Happy to find that I'm not the only one who chases the drafts! There are insulated curtains that you could consider for the doorway. And if possible, you could add magnets to hold it in place. Consider this a learning experience - it does snow in the desert!
When it gets cold then we always look for the drafts. Great idea on the magnets. Thanks
David, thanks for not “firing” Sondra! Snow?!?!! At least it never rains in California!😊
🤣I think I re-hired her....but she's on "performance review"! 🤔😎🤣
Beautiful but I would never stay there.Don't like the Desert. Great video. Thanks for sharing
I get that. The desert can be dusty. Appreciate your time watching the channel. 😃
You know your knifes. Best pocket knife ever. Your trouble solving skills match.
Thank you. I usually always carry it. Really comes in handy.
What a beautiful place Mojave Desert is.Thanks for taking us on your adventure.Hi from 🇨🇦
Glad you enjoyed it, it's a unique area.
Making Lemonade from lemons. You two are such beautiful souls. I cannot help but glow when I watch. Gratitude
Wow, thank you! Not sure I deserve that one but thank you for watching. We're excited to have you along on the journey. 😊
I spent time ridin dirt bikes around the Mojave. Total blast!
Sweet area.
You guys had beautiful weather in the desert. Well on the bright side you didn’t have to worry about getting hot.
Very true! It was great weather, Brian. Very fortunate.
Off to a shaky start but worked through it all with a smile in your hearts. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. Watching from NW GA. 😊
Thank you so much! Heading your way... eventually! Every once in awhile you hit a pothole on a smooth road. Irritated at the company who did our axel work. Thanks for the comment.
I am amazed at all the spare parts you have!!
I know, right?!? That's one aspect of this lifestyle I really didn't expect.
Congrats on 40K subs!!
Wow! Thanks. Can't believe we're up to 40K. What a wild ride. Buckle up...more to come.
It’s good that you show the good, bad, and ugly. Makes it real. Sounds like my husband and I. Thanks for keeping it real!
So true. Being heavy has it's advantages (wind stability) but not in the sand! Thanks
(To the tune of Jingle Bells)
Jauntin'' through the cold,
in the sands of Mojave,
Stickers and t-shirts,
Hole rocks on Ring Trail.
David can't get out,
Sondra calmed him down,
For yet another travel day
weird happenings abound.
(Chorus)
Oh! Don't do this! Heed the signs. Stay in warm Lake Mead.
You wouldn't need them gauntlet drapes
in Moj where it snows in feet, Ay! (repeat)
Safe travels and see y'all next Thursday, God's willing.👍🏾🙏🏾
Lol... love it. Thanks 😄
Get stuck Dave still cool. 😊😊😊 WOW!!. Just shows you anytime anyplace you can get stuck.
There is ample opportunity to get stuck... believe me! 😆 🤣 Thanks, Kate. You are too kind.
I thought that by adding the drive to the back axle you wouldn’t get stuck again🇨🇦
MY thoughts EXACTLY.. Why wasn't the front axle spinning ? Did David forget to lock in the tandems ? ( back to watching the video )
that's what we thought! We locked them but the front axle did not behave appropriately...a call to the mod company is next.
I was raised in Palmdale, Calif not far from Mojave desert. The only thing we had to live is the Mojave Green Rattle Snake, that’s what you needed to watch for those big guys
Oh man! Glad we didn't see one! Thanks 😄
Thanks for keeping it real! Too many channels only show roses and not the thorns......I think you do a service showing that the lifestyle does have its trials and tribulations. I can understand the frustration with the situation and wasn't directed towards anybody.
Thanks. It all worked out in the end... just wished it would have gone smoother and we could have arrived earlier. Appreciate your comments.
Great Video!! ❤
Thank you very much.
Thanks for the share, that's real RV life ,I'm lovin it!
It sure is! The good, the bad and the ugly! But also the beautiful... all in one day! 😆 🤣
Love the show would love to see some of your scrap books. Safe travels God bless Nancy
Thanks, Nancy. Our FB group, Big Truck Big Travels, has more of that type of info. Also, a journal/scrapbook chat.
LOL Hope you survive the frozen tundra. Luckily those "yucca" days don't last long. Thanks for posting.
Appreciate your comments and those days last about as long as snow on a hot tin roof.
Put Bubble wrap over your door, that help with drafts. all over door)
Oh, that's a good idea. Thanks.
Enjoyed the scenery.
Thanks it was lovely for sure.
Great video - glad you were able to get unstuck. David’s skills are truly amazing. Congrats on 40k subscribers - very well deserved! Happy Easter!
Awesome! Thank you! We really appreciate your time watching the channel and your support.
Absolutely amazing, I would not have thought it possible to snow in a desert. Fantastic vid guys, really enjoyed it.
Thank you, Brendan. Hope the family is doing well. We were amazed at the snow in Mojave Desert! Unbelievable. We enjoyed the experience.
Great video. We loved the weather coming in. Sorry you all got stuck. Glad you got 'er out! Hole in the wall looks like a great campground. Enjoyed the walk video, rain snow and cold in the Mojave - very nice.
Thanks, Kim. It was very different than we expected. We really enjoyed it and will return.
Love your videos 😊 I don't know if you have them in America, but here in Australia, we have maxtracs that are awesome when you have troubles with soft ground, mud, snow and sand etc. Congrats on 40k
Thank you very much. We're going to get better traction tires this summer. I'll check on Maxtracs over here. Can't believe we've hit 40K. Wow!
It’s a good thing Dave is so handy. My husband is an RV Service Mgr. He says RV stands for “Ruined Vacation”
That is funny! And sadly... very true! We try to be the exception on that one!
🫣 I now know not to turn the wheel while in a soft spot and not moving 🥴😇
Thanks for the comment and watching the Channel 🙂
It was a little bit of bad luck as well...all the areas around this one were fairly firm so it was just a series of unfortunate events.
A friend of mine was a foreman at one of the goldmines in the desert in Arizona. It would get so hot in the day they had to wear long sleave white shirts to keep from burning. It was well over 100 degrees. The sand doesn't hold the heat and at night the water would freeze in the buckets.
Wow! Such a diverse environment. That's amazing. Thanks
Be sure to keep some nitroglycerin tablets handy!!!
😁😂👍It may need to be an "essential" pack item!
Thanks
@@bigtruckbigtravels only if you are going be off road a lot, most lug tires don't fare very well on pavement, also try not to turn the steering wheel when in static mode always move the vehicle a little before trying to turn the wheel, cuz to much pressure on the steering parts + you can break the frame that's why they moved the steering box out on the end if the frame it used to be just in front of your feet but drivers were turning the steering wheel statically then the frame would break right there, so you can see the problem with that + $$$%
@@ferraritoybox thank you. Yes, static turning in sand is very bad. We'll make the adjustment.
Just stumbled upon y’all… you had me at Im pulling with a Volvo !! 🙌🏻 stunning setup, you got me with your energy, fixing on the fly, and honest portrait of RV life.
Welcome aboard! Thank you very much for finding us! Hope you enjoy the channel.
I lived in part of the Mojave Desert as a child for 2 years in the late 50s. We had snow back then.
That's amazing! It's a beautiful area.
Be careful of soft sand at Hole in the Wall.
Be very careful...
Our lock on our Tiffin did the same thing, we duck taped the door closed, until we got parts.
I was surprised the first time it happened... now I'm prepared. They should make them better. We thought about duct tape but I just decided to fix it there. Thanks
Hello. You could use the “differential lock switch” in order to use the traction of the two rear axles.
Thank you. We thought we had it engaged but the traction control was still on so it did not allow any wheel spin without correcting.
❤you're lifestyle ! It has always been a dream /fantasy of ours to something similar .
I must give major kudos to the photography.Absolutely fantastic!
A ❤ for us are wolves (❤ your pics! ) In fact it's what prompted me to comment! ❤ of horses of course ❤ the landscape and sleepy towns.
As a child and teenager I made several crosscountry travels with my lovely parents and brother who 90 percent of the time we got along with each other famously and had lots of laughs especially at some of the outrageous names of places!
Thank you for taking the time to read my little note. I hope you're able to keep on trucking for a long, long time.
Thanks for the comment and watching the Channel. 😊
Very true, Sally. Thanks for the comment.
Looks like a very unique landscape beautiful …
It was gorgeous out there.
Of course, that never happened until I moved to KY.😊
I just wanted to remind you to check out the Chiricahua Mountains, especially Chiricahua National Monument. The rock formations are pretty spectacular.
I just thought maybe I should tell you how Chiricahua is pronounced: Cheer-i-(as in rip)-cow-uh.😊
Thanks, Linda. That's a tough one. Appreciate the help.
Outside of Flagstaff...snow in Arizona just sounds weird. Appreciate sharing and that must have been fun to see how long it lasted!
I would have my drivers seat arm rest down and not be any part of this video..
Yall are good people ~~
🤣😁😊Thank you...we probably should have gone back inside the trailer and enjoyed the rest of the day!
Hello guys, what a day you guys had, I’m glad you had extra parts for that door,be safe out there guys. May god bless you guys. Love watching your videos.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Thank you very much. Very fortunate we had the spares on hand. Appreciate your comments.
On your door curtain, have you thought of magnets?
great idea. Haven't thought of them...actually she just made it up that day. We'll look into it. Thanks
😆 🤣 Thanks for the comment. The desert is beautiful with all the snow... just not with us in it! 😆 Nice area.
Need a locking power divider
got it...but I'm not sure they were installed properly. Checking on it. Thanks
So cute so you lost your job driving. There's more driving to do. Love it all . God Bless You both..
😎🤣😂There'll be other days!
David was not a happy camper. As soon as I seen Sondra get the truck stuck I knew she was instantly FIRED!😅😅
No matter how hard I try, David won't really fire me! Thanks for the comment and watching the Channel! 😊
😆 🤣 she knew it... all in good fun.
@@bigtruckbigtravels lol. Man when I heard your tone I was yep she’s fired.😀😀😀😀
You guys have a great sense of humour 😂 Great place in the Mojave desert ! Cool 😎
Thanks! 😃 We'll see what happens next week. Love the area.
Amigos, the next time you have the problem of falling into a hole, try to get out in reverse since your RV. It will have more torque, make the excavation longer towards the teaser part
Thank you
We tried but I'm not sure the Locker works on both axles.
Love your music and the songs don't know who's voice it is . Great!
In the description for each video. Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you.
Did you lock I'm your power divider? Did they add power divider switch when they added the other drive axle?
We locked it...but I don't know if they installed it on the added axle...it sure didn't behave like it! Going to call them. Thanks
I hope you can check out Mitchell Caverns while in Mohave Desert.
Thanks, Sue. That will be next time on the list...in warmer weather.
I spent a few years in Mojave dessert at China Lake/Ridgecrest. It would snow at least once a winter and it was below freezing. Mojave is a “high dessert” so yes it snows. lol.
Oh, it did snow! No doubt. Thanks
John
Thanks, John. We've tried that the past two days with great success. It's our new procedure.
Wow, we were so lucky when leaving when we did a couple weeks ago, going from southern Arizona to western Canada, we didn't hit any snow, and really not that much rain! Timing is everything it seems, so we just lucked out. Safe travels all!!
Oh boy! You were super fortunate on your travel timing. Good MOJO!
Thank you, Neill. We've talked about visiting South Africa sometime. Sondra loves wildlife. Glad you enjoyed it and excited to have you along on the journey. 😊
I know where you are currently im here with ya rn they at Catherine's landing
I saw your truck here not tracking you
You know... this is where it starts...just sayin'...😉😆
Which site are you guys staying in?
I really enjoy your videos. I like to be in the SoCal deserts in any kind of weather. When it's windy and cold just I just stay in the motorhome and enjoy the views out the windows.
Thanks, Steve. Love the desert vibe. That's what we do when the weather turns.
Also you should be able to engage the second set of drives now that you have the second set of tandems drives. When you got stuck all the weight of the truck was on the front set of drives.
Yes but it sure didn't look like the front tandem was locked. Going to check with the company that added the drives.
I've never seen your type of rig with the car on the back in Florida and I live right next to 1-95 in South Florida. I'm surprised nobody has them over here.
David and Sondra have a friend who built that extended tractor rig just for them; and I think they said he is now retired.
There's a few of us out there but usually only a few in Florida during the winter.
OK....retired from driving? or truck mods? LOL. Thanks
What's wrong with your axle inner lock don't tell me you don't have one
Considering they just put in a second powered axle, they may not have one… or maybe don’t know how to use it. They need a power divider and axle locks if they’re gonna be boondocking if you asked me lol
@@georgejulien3286 you mean they ordered it with a tag instead of a live axle that's kind of stupid I deleted my front axle but the rear was a locker it did have an inter lock from factory but I didn't want to run twin screw
@@randallgeorge8945 I’m pretty sure it started as a single, then they added a tag and then they swapped out the tag for a powered axle.
We have one but the added axle did not act like it. We engaged the interlock but I need to call the company who modified the truck because the added axle did not behave as locked. Grrrr....
@@bigtruckbigtravels Oh ok I dropped my front but the rear is a locker so it does ok off road and my Momentum isn't as heavy as your Space Craft
At 32:47 are those two UAP/UFO'S ...Rain droplets, reflection?? I view Being delayed a blessing in disguise. Many times I unfortunately came upon bad accidents. It could have been me in those wrecks if I had not been delayed.
Safe travels!
Really enjoy your vids being practically bed ridden waiting for back surgery #4. Keep'em coming!
Thank you and hope you come out OK. Get some rest... we'll keep them coming. You never know what you'll see out of our windows!
stillness of the desert in the morning!
Beautiful
Also Come down the pressure of the rear tires so that they have more grip on the ground and remove loose debris from the ground, such as small rocks.
Thank you. Great suggestion! We didn't think about that!
You installed a 6x4 tandem rear drive, yet only the rear wheels were spinning, did you not engage the differential-lock? 4:12
MY thoughts EXACTLY
Yep! Saw it on the video playback and a call will be made to the company who did the mods. The front axle did not behave as expected nor designed.
@@bigtruckbigtravels I drove a Volvo FH-truck (euro equivalant), sometimes the differential lock takes a few revolutions to engage, abit of on & off-button.. you see a indicator light on the dash once its engaged!
