Ôpa, obrigado! Gostaria de poder fazer os vídeos como nos tópicos, mas uma série de fatores me fez cortar a parte do "contando uma história", como tamanho dos vídeos, narração, linguagem e etc.

Se eu fizesse minha versão mudaria muitos jogos, mas quase todos os que vc colocou realmente figuram entre os melhores, então a lista acabou sendo bem justa e absurdamente nostálgica.

Valeu Jugulador! Se você comparar vai ver que mudei vários jogos daquela lista que postei no Outerspace e se fizesse de novo daqui uns 5 anos certamente mudaria de novo. Por exemplo, não gostava e nem manjava nada de shumps, mas depois de listar todos os jogos do estilo no Mega, passei a gostar de vários!

1994 When Mortal Kombat 2 only comes in at number 10 you know it was a good year.
O mais "louco" é ver que hoje em dia algumas empresas ainda detém os Direitos Autorais de alguns desses jogos e prefere não lançar nada novo. Vendo o futuro que alguns jogos tiveram atualmente, isso me deixaria até feliz, mas é sempre bom ver que alguns produtores desses clássicos continuam a produzir jogos nesses moldes como Monster Boy and The Cursed Kingdom que vai sair agora em 2017 que é do mesmo criador da série Wonder Boy, Road Redemption que é o novo jogo de briga no asfalto dos desenvolvedores de Road Rash e também Toejam & Earl: Back in the Groove que eu tive o prazer de conseguir contribuir no Kickstarter.
De fato é um pecado tantos jogos excelentes que nunca mais tiveram continuação. Estou muito interessado no novo Toejam, já o Road Redemption eu comprei e achei que não conseguiu capturar o espírito dos melhores Road Rashs.

Obrigado Bruno! Os vídeos dessa série são bem trabalhosos de se fazer e não despertaram tanto interesse, mas pretendo tentar novamente justamente com esses dois consoles. Castlevania came out in a very competitive year, Mortal Kombat 2, Street fighter 2, Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic 3, Earthworm Jim, Nba Jam and virtual racing
Many games that sold well in the long run didn't necessarily sell well in the beginning so never topped the sale chart, for example Mortal Kombat 2 was only 10th in the year it was released but it's 6th overall.
Nice too see super thunder blade number 2 for 1988, all my classics that i actually played for years!!
Always thought that 92 was an excellent year, but man did they top it in 93.

Come on.. you didn't include Thunder Force III for 1990! For me it was the best release for that year, and i'd easily remove either ESWAT, Lakers Vs Celtics or Super Monaco GP for it. Apart from that this was a fantastic video, I like the idea of top 10's for each year rather than an overall top 10.
Excelente! Voltei no tempo aqui...joguei mto Altered Beast, Ghouls n Ghosts, Revenge of Shinobi e principalmente Golden Axe! Phantasy Star até caiu uma lágrima aqui! Pq será que os jogos de hj não causam o que esses jogos causavam em nós? Só nostalgia?

Acho que, entre outras coisas, hoje é tudo cinematográfico demais. Excesso de história e detalhes, você não consegue SER o personagem porque ele já chega com um mundinho completo de cara. Por isso Minecraft faz tanto sucesso, porque VOCÊ faz a sua história, mais ou menos como era nos 16bit, onde te davam apenas uma missão com quase zero de informações, você vestia a camisa e deixava a imaginação rolar. 92 was such a great year for the Megadrive. Shame the Castelvania and Rocket Knight did not make your list.

A Sega e suas parceiras fizeram tantos jogos bons que poderia existir uma segunda lista por ano com clássicos que não vimos nesta. O Mega Drive pra mim foi o melhor vídeo game de todos os tempos até o momento e para não dizer que estou sendo injusto, minha lista de vídeo games foi: Atari (VG 5600 CCE), Dynavision II (NES), Micro Genius (NES), Master System 1, Mega Drive, Super Nintendo, PS1, DreamCast, PS2 e PS4.
Alguns que lembrei mas que não estão nas listas: Shadow Dancer, Evander Holifield, Side Pocket, Castlevania Bloodlines, Mickey Mania, World Of Ilusion, Green Dog, Cool Spot, The Adventures of Batman e Robin, Micro Machines, Jurassic Park, Decap Atack, Aero Blaster, Desert Strike, Jungle Strick, Elviento, Ernest Evans, Hell Fire, Rocket Knight Adventures, Splater House 2 e 3 entre outros.
also..Your Genesis collection must be massive, to really evaluate on what games were the best, each year of the console's life span.
No I sold my Genesis 20 years ago, but I had a lot of video games magazines at the time and also rented many games. Anyway, I did searches on sites like SegaRetro and Wikipedia to not forget some games.

ESWAT was the best game in 1990. Not to mention the soundtrack...
Grande Crude Dude, parabéns pelo trabalho. Como um grande fan do Mega Drive, vi alguns erros de posição e alguns jogos muitos importantes ficaram de fora, mas faz parte, lista depende muito do gosto pessoal e isso é muito complicado avaliar. Por exemplo, jamais colocaria Aladdin em nono em 1993, em 1994 jamais deixaria Castlevania Bloodlines de fora, jogão demais e que sempre está no top Castlevania. Outro jogo top seria o Mickey Mania que não poderia ser esquecido, como também o jogo exclusivo de Tartarugas Ninjas, entre outras falhas. Mas, como disse faz parte de toda lista.
Agora uma critica construtiva, acho desnecessário você colocar o nome Sony na TV e acho que em vez de 1997, você poderia ter colocado 1997 ate hoje, já que o console recebeu jogos da Watermelon e de outras indies. BLZ? ABRAÇO e receba uma curtida!
Fala FQN, beleza? Então cara, não tem jeito, esse tipo de lista é igual cobertor curto: ou você cobre a cabeça, ou cobre os pés. A ordem, em geral, foi na base do gosto pessoal mesmo, mas também consultei as médias do segaretro.org pra ver se eu não estava viajando na maionese.
Quanto ao logo da TV, eu não coloquei, já estava lá e como eu não manjo de photoshop, achei melhor deixar, até porque achei inofensivo, rsss. E quanto aos jogos que vieram depois, tenho planos de fazer um vídeo dedicado somente a eles. Abraço!

Phantasy satr IV is my childhood game...along with SF2.
Good list but we're going to have to agree to disagree with Michael Jackson's Moonwalker, Phantasy Star III, and Virtua Fighter 2. Neither game were really all that great. Michael Jackson's Moonwalker gets kind of a pass given how new the Genesis was but even by 1990 it had far more impressive games out for it.
Phantasy Star III was such a departure from its counterparts that Sega could have named it anything else and it would have been better. It was one of the first disappointments I had ever experienced when buying new games. I generally listened to EGM and GamePro as they helped me steer clear of bad games but man did they let me down here. Moving on...Virtua Fighter 2 on the Genesis should never have been done. Thankfully, I had moved on to the 32-bit consoles by then but I did get to play it on one of Sega's many compilations. I don't understand what could have possessed Sega to even try it. Yuck.
Addendum- Where is Red Zone? That game was one of the most impressive games ever made for the Genesis. It showed that the Genesis had no issues pulling every effect the Snes could do without issue. Also you should have added Kawasaki Superbike Challenge in as well. Smooth polygonal graphics without any helper chips. Sega does what Nintendon't. ;)

Jogos de 1993 melhores do que "Zombies ate my Neighbours": Eternal Champions, Ranger X, Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Hidden Treasure, Rocket Knight Adventures, Greatest Heavyweights, World Series Baseball, NFL Football '94, Jungle Strike, General Chaos, Rolo to the Rescue, Mazin Saga, Out of this World, Castlevania Bloodlines, Rolling Thunder 3, Blades of Vengeance. I preferred to show the period that the console was actually on the market, so it does not include these latest homebrews.
@@CrudeDude Technically, as in the last decades, new licensed versions of Sega Genesis and Mega Drive continued to be sold (most of them with a slot for cartridges) this years could be considered. Anyway, your video is great.

Micro Machines was launched in America, was left out solely for personal taste, because 1993 was a very busy year.

sega just stopped produce games so there are only games that were needed to nobody previous 10 years "best doesn't mean good"
You forgot The Lion King. The game was released for the Mega Drive in the same year as the Disney Story.
Although Lion King is a technical prime, I left out because it was difficult, a little frustrating and sometimes not so fun.

1993 rocket knight adventures - jurassic park
1994 sparkster rocket knight 2 (fastest platfomr after sonic and simlar game to sonic)
1995 light crusaders these games better than half of lists. good to you put jurasic park lost world atlest but first game was better. also in 1998 frogger and duke nukem 3d techtoy rleased officaly. there is many games relsed after 98 to this day unofficaly but some of them offical games like ultracore. intresting to put sonic and knucles and sonic 3 so far away in list bcouse they bascily same game with split. agree to sonic and knucles better escpialy music and final stages but they cant be too much far away lol. same with mortal kombat 3 if that high in list why better updated samegame umk3 so low on other list lol.
UMK3 has lost positions because I don't consider a good conversion as MK3. To accommodate so much new content in the same 32Mb, a lot was cut, it was not so cool.
Sonic 3 is a great game, but that feeling of being incomplete made losing positions. Sonic & Knuckles, even though it's the other half of the game, doesn't get that feeling.
@@CrudeDude umk3 mega drive solid conversion but if you want missing content of some of maps music and characters you need to check out umk3 balanced editon for mega drive. it was not cut umk3 more characters than mk3 and even hidden chars in arcade version. the cut content like street and graveyard maps it was hidden in the game it was in the game basicly nothing about cant fit the 32mb cartridge so. if you check reviews it was better than saturn and n64 ps1 version.

Vertua Racer was great, but come on, it's not as great as Sonic 3 was. That's the best Sonic game man.

Phantasy Star 3 in a top ten? nah fam
The rankings make zero sense, even for a personal list. At first I was like "ok, this guy must like fighting games a lot for him to be putting MK1 above Gunstar Heroes or Shinobi 3 and MK3 above Ristar, Alien Soldier and Earthworm Jim 2" but then in 1996 you put crap like Pocahontas above UMK3 (arguably one of the best fighting games on the system). WTF? Also, a lot of key games are missing, but I guess you can chalk that down to personal taste.
My point of view is of someone who lived through that time, so it's not a cold list, the kind that takes notes from metacritic and is done. This list is made up of a set of factors such as quality, popularity, hype and of course, my personal taste. It makes sense from my point of view, from what I've lived, so a list will never be unanimous.
Particularly I don't like the UMK3, for me it's impoverished version of MK3, which is a great conversion of arcades.
@@CrudeDude Hmm, interesting. I've never heard someone say they like MK3 better. I feel that UMK3 is an upgrade in every way possible, from the point of view of someone that has also lived through that era. Did you play every game that's on your list back then? THAT is impressive. :p
No, some of 1996 and 1997 games I've played through emulators before. While MK3 is a true arcade conversion, UMK3 is a capped game, lacking character and various scenarios and voices. If you like it, good for you, but on my list it's exactly where it should be.

The first couple of years were decent, quite a few in the middle were very solid and a few great, but the last couple were kinda terrible and just filled with yearly sports titles.
