When I was 16 I had such a bad case of it. You gotta accept it and shave and treat it with anti fungal cream. By accepting it the anxiety of it diminishes and it gets better

Use Selenium Sulfide 2.5%... believe me, when none of Ketoconazol, Salicylic Acid, ZPTO works, Selenium Sulfide worked wonder on my oily Seborrheic dermi... But you have to use it in control manner... 2-3 times for first 3 weeks... Then once in a week for next one month... Then once in 15 days... Then once in a month... And just put it on your scalp for 2-3 minutes... That's it
I got question can sitting in hot room cause seborrheic dermitis? I was in airport and it was really hot, and I washed my hair and there was no seborrheic dermitis but when I got into the airport, like few hours in I started getting seborrheic dermitis. Is it because of high humidity? I do have allergy to dust mites. Also does ivermectin work against seborrheic dermitis?
Try get away with normal shampoos available in grocery shop. I think yours is minor, try looking for "piroctone olamine" in shampoo and conditioner afterwards. That chemical is the best tolerated and the least severe out of all the medication for dandruff. I've had this condition for a few years now, trust me.
My scalp gets red and itchy but it doesn’t look as bad as the video, I also get a lot of headaches so idk what to do… for now I’m using the medicated selsun blue shampoo
It is a skin disorder. As of now, no permanent cure for it. It is treatable to the point where you'll think you never had it. Dont try curing that at home. Go see a trichologist, not dermatologist
If you have lost all of your hair due to what you perceive is seborrheic dermatitis, then there is a underline issue that is far more dramatic. Have you gotten a biopsy?
@@WilliamGaunitzTrichologist I was losing my hair quickly in the summer due to yellow bread like dandruff which i always had. I started finasteride then dutasteride with topical minoxidil over this year. It grew all back but the topical minoxidil made the condition much worse. I switched to oral minoxidil and shaved my head once since that gets rid of the flakes but they didnt grow back with oral minoxidil 2.5 mg. My dermatologist said it could be dermatitis or psoriasis, but she refuses to do anything now because "hair preservation is not a medical issue". She told me to go up to 5 mg of minoxidil if i want to get it back and then we see, but I dont want too many side effects. So im confused as to what i should do. I dont want to give up on my hair. I also abstained from the biopsy because she suggested because she said she has to take some hair to do it too. I dont know if its necessary or not.
Hey! 😊 Yes, **sesame oil** can be a great addition to your hair care routine! It’s rich in **vitamin E**, **antioxidants**, and **fatty acids**, which can nourish the scalp, strengthen hair, and even help with dryness or irritation. Here's why it’s good for hair: ### Benefits of Sesame Oil: - **Moisturizes the scalp**: It helps with scalp dryness and can soothe irritation. - **Strengthens hair**: The nutrients in sesame oil can make your hair stronger and more resilient to breakage. - **Anti-inflammatory properties**: It can help reduce scalp inflammation and may benefit conditions like **mild dandruff** or **dry scalp**. However, if you have scalp conditions like **seborrheic dermatitis** or **excess oil production**, it’s important to check with a healthcare professional first. Heavy oils can sometimes make those conditions worse if not used properly. So yes, sesame oil can be beneficial, but make sure it suits your scalp type and condition! 🌿✨ ➡️ Feel free to reach out to us at [www.advancedtrichology.com/](www.advancedtrichology.com/) for personalized advice on how to include sesame oil in your hair care routine! 😊
Yes, but the inflammatory problems associated with seborrheic dermatitis can be challenging to resolve. As long as the client is compliant and diligent, then, yes, it can be reversed. I
It's crucial to tailor hair care routines to your specific hair type and condition. While frequent washing can benefit some, it's not universal, especially for hair that thrives on its natural oils and moisture. For individuals with seborrheic dermatitis, as mentioned, avoiding certain oils is essential due to their potential to worsen the condition. However, for healthy scalp and hair, especially in the Black community, balancing moisture and avoiding excessive washing are key to maintaining hair health.
