Hazard up there with less than 70 hours is quite something

people really underestimate how much sleep is responsible for your improvement in anything. so long as you put in a decent amount of practice going above and beyond and putting in 5-10 hours of practice doesn't really get you much farther than 2-4.
@@TheInfectous That might be true for something like learning to play the piano, but on DD2 they only get 1 attempt at the thing they're struggling with every 30-120 minutes atm. And the time per attempt is only going to increase as people reach higher and higher. 2-4 hours or 1-8 attempts per day is not going to cut it there.

As a mainly Wirtual watcher, I didn't realize that most of the other top drivers prefer the first person view. Anyone have insight on why thats the case?
I think first person view gives you better perspective on what direction car is going and this map has a lot of offset jumps which can feel a bit different on 3rd person view. Also, I think reason why Wirtual doesn't use it is because he is very technical guy, he uses some scenery to lineup his jumps and changing camera view can take away attention for a split second
For me, first person is better for precision driving, and 3rd is better for drifting, ice, and other aspects where you have to set the car up for a turn differently than you're taking it. Also cam1 is generally seen as best for content.
the older games did they even have first person? I think I remember Wirtual explaining that he didn't like some of the other camera modes on F7 because TMNF just had the one and he was used to it.
@@edfilms9312 TMNF has several views and it always locks into first person view while doing loops. Maybe he meant he didn't enjoy other 3rd cam perspectives

Great summaries. I can’t tell if Floor 12 is a bit easier or a beast.
It seems that floor 11 is another bottleneck, similar to 6.
What if, the hole where Bren is stuck right now is just a bait. What if you have to jump left around the corner onto the black bend road? Can be seen for a short period at 0:50 (Its the road where he needs to jump later to the next road. It can be better seen straight ahead at 0:38)
It's good guess, but I think ramp angle is too big. Trying to do that jump there is high likelyhood to clip roof with too much speed, and to not make it at all with not enough speed. Also from his freecam run, ~5:50 angle looks very steep for jump and later path just makes sense. There maybe is some cutting potential, but at this height they rather want safe option, than risky one

Floor 11 is too hard. That stupid turtle jump is ridiculous. Floor 12 looks hard too. And to think there's still 4 more floors after that.... Incredible tower. So much more difficult than the previous one
half of foor 11 jumps are luck based
floor 12 look very precise but consistent if you practice enough.

I've heard they added extra measures so ppl couldn't do that. Also, it's illegal. But they released first 5 floors to train them

I agree, I think floor 11 in general is kind of bad. Some of the jumps seem inconsistent or allow you to turtle when that just isn’t necessary.
@@JohnDeere1738I think Bren has found a way to make floor 11 consistent. It's the quarter pipe beam jump that's still annoying now. (Second time a quarter pipe beam jump exists on this map by the way)
