Nice, I'm 16 and i got a '72 Camino for my first car me and my father rebuilt it and gave it a metallic maroon with metallic black racing stripes I love my car It's my dream car! I dig the black and the SS emblem.
@pasadena333 Not sure what happened to the sound. Check out the video at frameoff.net. Go to the photo gallery and click on the '72. Video is called test drive.
That may have been a Pete Jackson "noisy" gear drive. I run a gear drive in most of my muscle cars and will change brands occasionally. But for sure it's the "noisy" style. That motor was built around 10 years ago and it's still running strong with no issues. Some people say they don't like the noise of a gear drive, but as a car guy, the "noise" is at least 50% of what being a car guy is all about.
Hello Lou it's been awhile how have you been ? Back to work now at a new company in West Michigan LG Chem. Hope that El Camino is running great talk to you later.
@flubber342 The video captured the fist time I ever drove the car (truck). I thought I'd share it with like minded motorheads, elky fans and general car-nuts. Thanks for looking.
hey that is a wicked ride ! can you tell me what size engine is in it? what size are the wheels and tires and back spacing? I have a 72 as well and i just finished the tail gate which was a mess with majior dents and rust. The frame is mint but the entire back needs replacement. I love the black exterior I am thinking of painting mine emerald green like the dark green on a Mountain Dew can. Great inspiration piece...do you have any other postings?
this is awsome mt elkys black but this is such a beautiful black never touched black haha great make a video of you driving it though i wanna see what it can do..
this never gets old.👍🏼🏁🏁🏁🏁
No it does not. It's just a nice cruiser that still turns heads 15 years later. Thanks for watching.

SOUND QUALITY IS AWSOME, it's just the big cam and headers your hearing, headers are very thin compared to manifolds, sweet ride my friend.
👏👏🏁🏆car sounds great and looks great too!!!👍😎
Yes, power steering in a car that front heavy is a must. Steering and suspension upgrades make it really handle and fun to drive.

Thanks! 408 Big Block with a HUGE cam and headers.
