Prince William surprises mother during charity walk from Wales to London

- The Prince of Wales has surprised a mother on a mental health charity walk in memory of her late daughter.
Emma Webb was taken aback when Prince William appeared and gave her a hug as he joined her on day 13 of her fundraiser between Wales to London.
She decided to step out on the walk after losing her daughter Brodie - a promising equestrian - at age 16 to suicide in March 2020.

She didn’t embrace him rather he went in to embrace her first. A sign of a true compassionate character. I pray her heart heals from her loss

This is why so many people love Prince William. I don't think he feels trapped by his position like Harry seems to think. I think he is embracing his role and has decided to do as much good as possible. Kudos to him. His family and the British people and Commonwealth should be proud of their future king.
I honestly think Prince William feels his role is a great privilege. He is so sincere and empathetic.

I am an American and I wish we had a monarchy just so we can have some stability. All we seem to get are criminals and crazy people out for power not for the people.
True, but a monarchy isn't the only way. There are countries that have a head of state which is not the head of government, and those people also represent the country and its people, and are equally respected and beloved, and light up a room when they choose to visit.

Admit I watch this most times it appears on UA-cam. A sort of lift me up. Hugs and smiles despite losing her daughter. Lovely reactions from everyone. Such a genuinely honest and sincere heir. Just wished the video started a few seconds earlier.
