Prince William Gets Cooking For Homeless in Surprise Charity Visit
Prince William threw on an apron to help feed the homeless in a surprise charity visit, in central London.
The royal father-of-three, prepped a Christmas dinner in the kitchen with the volunteers.
Prince William’s surprise visit comes, as he made a promise this year to do more to tackle homelessness in the UK.
The prince is a patron for The Passage Charity, which he first visited with Princess Diana in 1993.
Earlier this month, he shared a message on ICAP Charity Day about his work to support those at risk of homelessness.

Homelessness is one of the most pressing social issues that we face in Britain today, but it's not the kind of glamorous, easy-fix problem that attracts long-term celebrity engagement. I applaud Prince William for using his position to shine a light on this matter. Homelessness is a complex problem that involves a number of frankly unpalatable aspects that people don't like to engage with (drugs, human trafficking, mental health problems etc) but the Prince here reminds us of the human beings at the heart of the issue. God bless him, and God bless everyone involved with this wonderful service.

Prince William is truly a Prince in every sense of the word! So compassionate. He always takes time to talk to the people . Catherine does also. A lovely pair. I love seeing them and their children whom they are teaching to be compassionate, too.

As an American 🇺🇸 I have watched from afar for over 40 years. Like many people around the world,I became interested in the RF when Diana came on the scene.
I have watched William throughout his life,as much as possible. From emerging from the hospital as a newborn until now.
He has known unthinkable pain,yet continued his path of legacy.
Diana would be so proud of him for the man that he has become. The son,husband, father and Prince that he has worked hard for. He is a tribute to the Monarchy.

Prince William now runs The Prince's Trust, which was set up by his father, when he was Prince of Wales. The Trust does a huge amount to help young people, and the most vulnerable people. Fun fact - Jimmy Choo set up his shoe empire thanks to a grant and business support from the Prince's Trust.

Princess Diana faced inordinate abuse when she began visiting the homeless in secret. No one could understand why she did it. Then she took the children with her. She will be smiling at her son now. You had so much wisdom and compassion for a young girl Diana.

We are defined by what we do and not just by what we say. That is what stands out on what the difference between the Wales and his brother and his wife is and why no matter what the Sussex try to do compete and overshadow William and Catherine they always will come out short. William and Catheribe excel and are busy in just doing the work that comes with the privile of being a royal while Harry and Harry are all talk and pr with no substance to back it all up.

This is another case of Meghan versus Kate's love of avocadoes. Meghan and Harry have worked hard with Central World Kitchen feeding the hungry but receive still critical headlines. William can't get away with not doing charity work. Imagine how the family would look if they didn't. Harry and Meghan don't have to run Archwell or do Invictus but they choose to. They could retire and do nothing if they wanted
@coffeeperson1461 That's a bit of a silly comparison because central world kitchen doesn't feed the hungry. It's a pop-up kitchen that shows up at disasters. Harry and Megan have to run Archewell Because they keep 95% of the donations to live off of. Invictus they've already successfully run that into the ground. Why do you think there's not a 2024 competition because they ran out of money. Educate yourself.
This is what William and Catherine do so well, they shine the light on the charity and the people not themselves.

Yes. Action. William and Catherine are, as individuals, both compassionate and empathetic. As a couple, they are a dynamic duo force of love. As a family, they foster hope. As Royals, they highlight the people and not themselves as the focus. William has learnt all of this from his grandparents, aunts, uncles, his father and his mother. Thank goodness that his wife, Catherine, came from a family who has always valued giving, empathy, compassion and kindness. Catherine and William are able to help their children learn the valuable lessons of being mindful of others.
He is arguably the most loveable member of Royal Family after Late Queen Elizabeth II.

Why is it that people forget that Williams DAD, has been instrumental in raising him to be charitable and thoughtful. Charles has always been a giving man. He has true faith, true compassion, a deep desire to do good. William has learnt from his entire family and yes including his mom. Of course if she was here, she would be very proud that he is continuing to behave with charitable values because she knows that she herself, was able to do charitable works because she married Charles. Through Diana becoming a member of the Royal family, it gave her better access to volunteer organizations etc. Hence, it must always be considered that both parents contributed to Williams ethics and both would br proud.

Prince William really does engage with the people he is helping, taking the time to speak to as many as possible and more importantly listen to them. Not just a quick hug and then moving on to the next person.

@@ralphowens8346 Then you don't have an understanding of what the Prince's Trust does then. The Trust, which William's father set up in 1976 and which William now runs, does not simply give hand outs to those in need, it makes active interventions to stop people from becoming homeless in the first place - in particular, supporting young people who are leaving care. The Prince's Trust does a massive amount to provide young people with skills to get them into work, or training, so that they can support themselves and not rely on others to feed them. Given you feel so strongly about this issue, I hope you will give some of your own money and/or time to help those charities that help the homeless. Happy Christmas.
