Interesting place to start. Now tell us actual real numbers about efficiency changes (and why), payload reductions, how to deal with battery issues, how this concept applies to larger commercial aircraft at higher speeds, etc … This seems like a “toy” start, but looks like a way to get some real numbers.
Hey airbus can you make a variants for the A380 and the name of it is A380-900 its like a A380 but with three decks it has 3 engines on the wings and its the right and left wing will you make it?
Nice looking plane. I don't know anything nor understood nothing about it though. Supose it runs on fuel and electric mixture (educated guess..), other than that ... 11 hours, etc etc mean nothing to me without more context and a few details not mentioned in the video.

The extra engines are electric to boost efficiency, they can't have less engines because that would not produce enough thrust (the engines are electric and batteries are not that powerful and are quite heavy right now)
Its R&D. Boeing is more interested in share buybacks. Tupolev are still making the TU214 for 3 crew as there is no digital cockpit. Single prop planes with ICE engines are still heavily leaded and polluting as well as the most prone to crashes of any aircraft sector.

stupid idea
(Sorry if I’m being too mean)
@mr_aviationdoge5019 your kinda mean but its ok
It will be hard to produce though because Airbus destroyed the A380 factories
I'm pretty sure heart aerospace is doing the same thing.
Good to know there will be some competition in this market without Boeing
Because boeing is its own league and knows that this isnt it

Thats a very cool Project i love it❤
Honestly I don’t know much to say besides the fact that this could potentially shift aviation as a whole in a good way, Nice going Airbus!
This is what all aircraft company's need to start doing, and congrats on being one of the first 👏
Ur way better than Boeing much love from Australia
Leading future design but more progress on BWB please
amazing=)

Now they competing with Cessna
More Engine? Nah perfect having 3 or 4 engine problem

Airbus is really scraping the barrel 💀

Do you know what scraping the barrel means???
@nathd1748 it was a joke man, it's not like I wrote Deltarune lore
