Looking forward to CIG filling these outposts with a little more life. NPCs not just standing / sitting but actually fulfilling tasks, talking a bit more to each other, trading ships coming in and leaving again etc. Though very nicely designed, these locations still feel rather dead so far.
It's already getting sooo much better with 4.0. AI are communicating with each other during fights. AI are constantly talking with each other at landing zones. I've played MMOs that didn't have any of that. Already things feel more alive with 500 players too. I suspect when server performance improves even more things are going to feel much more alive. NPCs and people.
Exploring Seer's Canyon on Vatra, one of Pyro V's moons.
-107 degrees and the NPCs just out there with no helmet LOL!
Yup, I took my helmet off to drink assuming it was safe to do so and almost died. Never trust what NPCs are wearing when it comes to weather and atmo.
I'm mostly impressed that you found a server that didn't 'server error' every 3 minutes
One benefit of exclusively joining servers through one's Friend's list vs. random matchmaking
One of my favorite new locations! They also let you repair on the pads up above and they come with free MULEs
I’ve seen mules on previous visits, it’s cool they’re scattered around some outposts.
