Hey hello actually im trying this too but my bag is not getting the straight line on the sides , it keep getting wide ... do you have any idea or solution for this? Btw im a beginner too
Hi! Thank you for the amazing video. This video is so easy to understand. Mine is a little bigger and starts with 40 chains but when getting higher the crochet is conical seems like I skipped some chains and need to restart again 😂
slip knot, ch 35 hdc in first st x2 hdc rest of row x1 in the last ch, 2 hdc flip work, 2hdc in same loop (2in both sides) hdc rest of sts except last 2hdc in last ch. sl st in first st of work ch 1, hdc in same st hdc in every st sl st at first of round, ch 1 cont for rest of body. (18 rounds) fasten off strap- tie yarn into work where strap will be ch length of strap (55) sl st strap onto other side front and back.
i love love love this project, A LOT. The slip stitches do slant as the rows increase, but they slant beautifully. I mean, if this shoulder bag was for sales and i'm the buyer, i would've thought that the slant was just the part of design!
I have a few questions, my bag started to curl a lot at the ends so it started to look like a banana how do I fix that? Also my bag got really short even tho I did the same number of stitches as you can I fix these? Ty
Sorry for the late reply! Do you mean that the ends where the straps are began to curve up? If you're using this bag to hold sort of heavy things, you can line it with fabric. But since it's made of a soft material, it will curve like that unless it's lined with something stiff. And if it's too short, you can just keep adding rounds until you get the length you want!
