I totally agree with you. If it's the foam I think you're talking about wouldn't it get water logged after a while and sink. Then again I might be think of totally different foam

Why not use those large 5 gallon water bottles in a framed raft with the coating you first used? They had such fun. Gave them somethings to really get moving.

Make another make it big but wrap the hose outer shell around a large plastic square so it will stay buoyant and they can’t pop it kinda the same as their plastic balls and cylinders they have to play with they float really well I do not know where you can buy a large buoyant plastic square from😂
very easy. Use wood for the interior of the raft, wood floats and they won't be able to distroy it. Then wrap the wrapping around the wood instead of around inflatable what ever.

It's a polar bear, they will shred basically anything unless it's metal, and even then it'd have to be pretty sturdy metal
