What an honor it has been playing these songs with you Mike! A dream come true really :) And amazing to be a part of this group of talented musicians for a day🙏
If you watched the other video, some of the other musicians are a lot less experienced than Mike, Paul or Charles so things are arranged to make that work.
It's also a really awesome way to promote the songs. Have these creators with huge following play on and promote it on their channels. It reaches a wide audience and may hit people who don't necessarily follow Mike, but see a Charles or Paul video. It's brilliant marketing
I read your comment before hearing they played Castle of Glass, and thought you were exaggerating. But once the song was over I realized there were tears in my eyes. It was truly beautiful. It's moments like that that allow us to be given chills again by the music of Linkin Park and friends.
As I've said many times, you belong on stage doing what you do best. You're an amazing songwriter etc thank you so much for sharing with us. We fans love you. Please don't stop xx
OMFG!!! This is so so so amazing sir 😭 that crazy vocalist (shames I din’t know them earlier), Paul the legendary guitarist and Charles none the less legendary bassist (who somehow plays keys instead 🤯)… goodness me! And The Castle of Glass which has always been one of my all time favourites… come on, guys.. this is painful 😭 Wish I could only touch that reality of yours…
This isn’t a new thing. Session work has been around for many decades. During 2020, when there was nothing to do, I watched a lot of old session videos (mostly ones with Jeff Porcaro, who played on such a wide range of songs). There’s a pretty epic one with all 3 Porcaro brothers meeting Les Dudek. I think that one’s on Boz Scaggs’ Lido live video. They start at the studio and then play it live.
@@SuziQ. Session music has probably been around since music has been around but I still marvel at the talent and how quickly they meld. Not all talents will mesh.

Omg that is just no no no words! 🤧 Castle of Glass sounds amazing here. Thank you for singing lp song in every live session ☀️ Huge appreciation to all the musicians and Mike and big hugs from Russia to you guys ❤️🇷🇺
Having learnt from Paul from his UA-cam vids to seeing him here makes my heart warm. And to see him be a part of Castle of Glass as well as hear you (Mike) and everyone sing that song again, made me tear up. Last time I heard that song on repeat was when I was grieving for Chester. I would love to hear Oliver Sykes (BMTH) cover that song as well. Man I miss parts of my childhood.
I would love to see this become an official thing with Mike taking on a front man role full time, he deserves the shine and it would give these very talented musicians a huge spot light
Sydney, LA, London... each of them are a little different, craftsmanship is beyond amazing! and it all boils down to the talented Mike and the musicians that made this possible.
interesting that you like it. @Mike Shinoda How great it is to see you and other musicians playing, singing and having fun. Music is a kind of magic that unites everyone and creates joy. Thank you all!✌🏻🎶💚
Amazing. Im so glad Mike is doing this trip working together with all these people. Each time its a different and its both interesting but also exiting to hear. Honestly i cant believe this got done in only 1 day. Like how? It was amazing. Specially liked the Castle of Glass you guys and girls did. Now i wont pretend to really know Chester but i like to imagine that he would be proud of the work you are doing Mike and proud of all the amazing covers of Linkin Park songs there is getting made ❤🔥❤🔥
I had goosbumps when she started to sing Castle of glass and when all you sang chorus together. Linkin Park was my reason to do music. It's fair to say Music was introduced to me by Linkin Park. Evey year I used to get so excited before Linkin Park album release. I am just a boy from a small city of Bangladesh. I have always dreamed of watching LP live once in my life. But then my biggest idol Chester left me wondering how I'll see them again? Now I live in western Australia for study and I see a lot of famous bands and pop stars come here to perform but sadly I won't see Linkin Park anymore amung those bands. I am really happy to see all these musician playing Linkin Park songs. It was a dream of mine to sing a song with Linkin Park. ❤ Lp for ever.
I just got to watch all 3 Episodes ... they were all fantastic. I really hope we get to see more like this. I really loved the series you did for the other song "In my head".
OMG this made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up at 5:02 I'm a massive LP fan, was at Chester's last gig. What genius from Mike (as always) to bring the collab together, I'm also a big follower of Charles and Paul, but everyone was SO awesome on here, well done, what a special moment.
When you said "Castle of Glass" would be a great fit for this group, you weren't kidding. The vocals are beautifully blended. I can not stop listening to this and it gives me goosebumps every time.
I admire all the guys!!! And your duet, and this boy’s voice (he masterfully does complex vocal parts ☝️🔥), the girls’ backing vocals - it’s all so harmonious and cool!!! Love you all!!!
this is what music is about, bringing people together, helping people, and mike, chester and everyone in linkin park have absolutely 100% achieved that, i started singing because of linkin park, much love from germany, ill never forget the concert i was at in munich of the post traumatic ep
One day the world will realize how lucky we were when Linkin Park was at their prime. Mike is in the running for most talented musician of our generation.
the duet on Already over was epic. The choir part on Castle of glass gives me goosebumps. I loved it! i love how charles Berthoud playing the piano instead of playing his bass.
AMAZING!!! I follow Charles and so I discovered this song on his channel, it's amazing seeing you working while helping other musicians to grow, "just play" remembering everyone to enjoy it, you're great, I love the song so much, take care Mike. 🤙
This is absolutely fantastic. Already Over has already been one of my new favorite songs, but you guys absolutely nailed it and added some amazing character to an already awesome song. Castle of Glass is a classic, with a lot of emotion tied to it, and I am having a difficult time finding the words to put to how I felt listening to you all play it. I'm literally sitting here at my work desk tearing up from your rendition. Linkin Park was the voice of most of my life, and will continue to be a cornerstone in who I am as a person, but damn am I excited to see what this next generation of musicians does going forward. Thanks so much for having me Mike!! Such an honour to make music with you and find out what a down to earth guy you are!! 🙏🏻
So proud of how far you've come 🥲
You did what Davie couldn’t
Должна признаться, увидеть тебя в видео с Майком Шинода это очень приятный сюрприз
I'm so proud of you, man. I follow you since you appeared on Davi's channel a billion years ago.
i thought i was trippin', but its really you
good job lads
What an honor it has been playing these songs with you Mike! A dream come true really :) And amazing to be a part of this group of talented musicians for a day🙏
it feels good different guitarists playing the song on their own way, and above all two of my favs, you and Mateus Asato
what an unexpected collaboration, I'm not complaining
OMG YOU WERE FEATURED! Great to see you being part of the collab, I have been watching your vids for ages ❤
I've been following your videos for years so I was amazed when I saw you together with my favourite musician of all time. Congratulations!!
Couldn’t believe it when I saw you on guitar! Wasn’t expecting that at all.
An absolute honour to be part of this! Massive thanks Mike, what a day 🕺✨
It was such a pleasant surprise to see you in this group!
Jota on wing with Mike shinoda ?😱🍀
There's no way you brought over the God-tier bassist that Charles is to have him play a piano 😂😂😂
You mean 230-string bass😏
Done on purpose so he didn't over shadow the group
Problems of being too good. Outshining the lead
If you watched the other video, some of the other musicians are a lot less experienced than Mike, Paul or Charles so things are arranged to make that work.
Mike said he played everything himself in the studio...there's no way he can handles any bass lines/riffs from Charles. Hence Charles played piano.
I really enjoy how Mike's been reaching out to other musicians and creating a new story for us all to see.
What @DishonestTrack6 said :D
