I remember reading something Fulton Sheen wrote about mortification. He said if we can find five ways each day to deny ourselves, we've taken a step to the Kingdom of God.

      Yes.
I never knew the importance of humility, until I learned it from the disciples of Dr. Plinio.
That's when my life started to improve.

We are brothers and sisters of The Most High Creator, my Muslim brothers and sisters show good examples of fasting and modesty for women’s dress. I look to my Muslim sisters for inspiration of modesty, yet still look very lovely and respectful, I follow a Muslim woman on UA-cam for her modest wardrobe and have been contemplating wearing a hijab, maybe at least for Catholic Mass. My vail has fallen off during Mass and I feel so guilty and I am embarrassed to show my hair, because it is too beautiful and I feel shame. Even our holy mother Mary covered her hair 😔. ♥️

@Max შემიწყალე Archbishop Lefebvre said in "An open letter to confused Catholics" that Islam is the greatest enemy of Christianity - not Judaism. You can read that in the chapter "Ecumenism".

Father, with all due respect, please refrain from saying “right?” very often. It sounds to me that you were always asking approbation from the congregation.

I could not find any reference to Fr Roy Marie who is mentioned in this video. CAN YOU PUT A REFERENCE TO THIS FATHER AND HIS WORK ON SPIRITUAL DIRECTION ON THIS SITE? Also, I am not sure of the spelling as not clear from the audio. Thank you for all that you do.

There is good and bad Sin is a make up concept by man ,Just like hell and all the rest of religious teaching Do as you would be done by and live a good life

What you are saying is heresy, so now is the time of salvation, you may only get one chance. We are not promised a tomorrow. The little children at Fatima saw a vision of hell, where many souls go, there is weeping and gnashing of teeth and screams and howls for all eternity. Also tortures of ones senses. I know that I would rather go to heaven.

I find it interesting that you leave comments on this channel with such disdain towards the very videos and teachings you’re watching. The Church believes in free will. You can believe what you want. You may be wrong, but that’s your choice. It is just very confusing why you are going out of your way to watch these videos just so you can leave negative comments.
Wrong and right can be labeled “sin” by humans and it is a mere word invented by man. So, yes, you’re right on that account. Regardless of verbiage, sin equates to wrong. Even a toddler knows when he or she is doing something wrong. You pretty much state the golden rule. Nothing wrong with that either.
But, you do not know if hell is made up or not. We ARE mere humans. Nobody knows for sure until we die. But, it has been written about century after century by not just Catholics, so there’s something to be said about that.
