Old copper culture, OCC. Wisconsin metal detecting and documenting history.
Amazing, great job!
Thank you! Cheers!
Copper culture has been on my bucket list since I learned of them! Its so fascinating that they worked metal from raw chunks. What a bevel!!
Rare finds for sure. I only have 7 old copper pieces my self and I’m near the source. Will be difficult for you to find on the east coast. Saw a post on face book the other day of one found near main. Nice to see somebody my age that’s into artifacts hunting and history, Keep up the good work on your channel my friend, great things are to come for both of are Channel in the future. Add me on Facebook @greysen Reimer, can send info back in fourth about different sites in our area. Good luck
Production of these videos are great, Greyson. Also super impressed with what you be finding.
Thanks Ry. I’ll take ya out one of these days.
Thanks for sharing.
You rock Greyson detecting at its best
Congrats Greyson! Those copper artifacts are incredible! The one is definitely float copper (unworked) I'd say. The other is definitely a point! Congrats buddy!! That thing is 5000 years old for sure! Awesome!!! (nice bells too) Rk in Wis.
I agree, some very old artifacts. Thanks for watching RK. Got some good video coming soon!
I look forward to your posts weekly. I've found some copper nuggets with detector. They ring off solid. My best old copper I've ever spotted? Eyeballed it, looking at ground. Just a few artifacts. One nice spear point! And a 6 pound float copper last year. I like your show dude. Rk
@@richardklapka5147 I’m hunting Sunday and Saturday this weekend hopefully I find some good stuff! Been trying to find this old trading post from around 1820. Will get some good footage once I find it. Appreciate your support RK.
I watched your post again. That thing you called a "handcuff" is a bull's nose ring" I found a 1/2 of one. I researched, they still nose ring google nose rings for cows. Rk.
@@richardklapka5147 Odd spot to find one, I agree it does look like one. Very well could be!
Awesome ! nothing like finding occ copper.....
Agreed!
Copper spearheads and Copper Arrowheads have been radiocarbon dated back as far as 10,000 years especially in certain areas of Michigan/Great finds /
Thanks, these date from 5000 to 7000 most likely. I found another piece yesterday not as good as these. Will be in the next video.
Epic hunt! We hunt the same type of areas..I’m in NE MN
Add me on Facebook@Greysen Reimer, can send me your finds.
Dig wider! That stuff is too amazing to hit with shovel.
You see my holes😂 were pretty wide, used a big shovel. That last piece I was close to hitting. But when your digging pull tabs and shells, you arnt expecting a big copper spear point.
Older Than $*** that's a t shirt funny
Hooked Bro! I want to send you some detecting gear! Call our shop some time! ~ScrapIron
Can I get the number,
I’ll give you guys a call!
I need a trade site
Not trade my friend, OCC it’s much older.
@@Greysen_Reimer I know this. I'm referring to the site you're hunting on. I have native american sites..but no trade sites
@@kriswilliam9629 trade sites are hard to come by. Take a lot of detecting and research. Good luck my friend. Hopefully you find one soon.
