Could you also do a vid with you going to a 'second hand shoppe' and pulling clothes and putting some outfits together? I used to do this back in the day and just need a refresher...it's been like TWENTY YEARS GIRL!! yeah it really saves me! I slighted regretted what I bought recently- you know, every print, ruffles, laces look so pretty and I took it all and turned out to be my nightmare at the end. Cuz my wardrobe is fulled with simple basics so I lost my mind what to do with all new lovely things. Your tips and sample shots seriously helped me!!! Thank you so much xx - Mind you to leave my styling request as well? I spotted some 'glitter or metallic(?? not sure the term)' items on your instagram and it looks so cool. Can you share us how to style 'metalic' items in the summer? I haven't seen you wear belts that much but a belt video would be great. I'm 5'0" and am busty so I have a hard time with dresses/tops that have no waist. But of course, what do I love??? Things with no waist. My husband says I obviously like looking 9 months pregnant. Good God. When I do try to add a belt for structure I just feel like something is off like the belt doesn't work with the fabric or it's too large or too skinny. It's just wrong. I need to throw everything out and just start over.

Just here confirming my love of patterns. Thinking about how I got into patterns,just came from the fact when I ran out of laundry and all my basics needed to cleaned. It takes a lot of experimentation. With little time running out the house, I'm either "Wow this is unexpectedly cute" or "Geez this is worst than I thought" I recently bought the Marine Serre second skin in the beige and I paired it with a black and white polka dot shirt on top. I was in love. The base color don't even match but the fact that the pattern where similar sizes and shapes, tied it together.
I'm hooked on your videos (almost forgot to make dinner last night). They're better than a fashion magazine--more informative and definitely more entertaining. I sew my own clothes and am a very visual learner, so love hearing your suggestions and seeing all the photos with which you illustrate them. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent. I forgot to add, what for lack of a better term, I’ll call native prints (first nation american, african, ikat, etc). Also, there is tie-dye, the patterns of which can look like almost anything from clouds to geometrics. I like to mix my medium-scale single-color plus white tie-dye with ditsy florals. Mixing prints is really fun.

Terminology clarification: Great video!! I agree with your recommendations. You did a fabulous job of showing examples of what works and why. Since you are so good at educating, I want to clarify something about 'color' terminology so your viewers don't get misinformation. Green isn't technically a 'primary' color. There are only 3 Primary colors - yellow, red, blue. Green is a 'secondary' color. BUT, I know what you are getting at though. You are talking about clear HUES all going together. A hue is another word for color in it's purest form. Generally all pure HUES work well together. (Red, yellow, green, orange, purple, etc.) Generally all 'TINTS' work together (A tint is a hue with white added to make it more 'pastel' like lilac, aqua, or peach.) And any 'SHADES' work together. (A 'SHADE' is any color with black added to it - like burgundy, khaki, army green, navy, etc.) There are 'TONES' as well. (That is any hue with gray added to it - like seafoam green or mauve). Generally, any color combinations that stay in the same tint, tone, or shade work well. Most people know that intuitively but don't know why, or have the terminology to explain.
