The good old culvert days is when I first started watching Andrew, now I'm hooked on anything you post. It's guaranteed entertainment. This is one of my favorite channels on UA-cam!
Now, there's an honest, impartial & independent demonstration of an affordable and readily available machine. Used how it's intended in real-world applications. Great video Andrew
And from his last demonstration, I was convinced to buy the same machine--the H12. I originally was considering an excavator which had to be moved by a trailer hitch. The H12 cost a little more but is more versatile. Already received it and 3 of the 4 attachments for it. Several little adjustments and tightening of bolts were necessary But am excited to use it!

My wife thinks I'm wasting rime watching this type of video. I'm actually learning how to do this kind of thing. It e\will certainly come in handy before long when I start tackling some drainage issues on our property. Thanks for showing the details of your work.
A classic culvert video with some satisfying unclogging, reminiscent of your early videos. Cool to see the new mini-ex still being put to work without over-working it, I'm interested to see how it lasts doing typical landowner type of work.
As always Andrew never seems to ever dissappoint in any of his videos. Always look forward to seeing them. Noticed once again that the new garage build is coming along really nice and love the grey rock face on the front of it, matches the castle. Can't wait til it is all done. Great work on the driveway Andrew, think the new larger pipe was the best move and really drains the water better as well, to keep the driveway dryer.
These are the Andrew videos that I really like. I think the first one I watched was a water drainage fix with the Hitachi. I could watch culvert and ditch digging all day.
Nice job on the swales Andrew. I once cut one in with JD 544 loader in a mowed area next to a bike path and it was 30' wide and maybe 6 inches deep. To the naked eye it was indiscernible and very gratifying to resolve the issue with standing water.
Keep the little digger vids coming. I just ordered one of these. It is great seeing what a skilled operator can do with these. Most of the vids out there are back yard first timers like me. A beginer digging skills vid would be great!

I really enjoy watching these Culvert installations especially when you put the big rocks alongside the entrance and exit of the pipe it really is a good finishing touch and looks great 👍
Post 10 even as adult is educational watching and listening to him to talk.......Where he lives and where I live day to day are world apart......I think children would get A LOT out of watching his video's, they should be shown in schools, not all the culvert ones, but when his is showing you stuff you would never have seen otherwise, the way he talks about different things is very interesting, it's almost like he has an autism of knowledge.
Andrew I think this is your road but if not I commend you for recognizing a screw up and fixing it! You are one of the only property maintenance guys on youtube regularly visiting past jobs to ensure your work held up.
The two keys to a good driveway or road is a functioning ditch, and a crown in the center to direct water to the ditches, and prevent it running down the road and washing it out. Good job Andrew. You will have done four grand worth of work with that little machine in no time.
I bet when people saw Andrew driving around with that little mini excavator they thought what a cute little toy he has not knowing how many big toys he owns.
If an area gives you trouble vis-a-vis leaves, put a concrete (as smooth as possible) entry point to the culvert. The biggest issue with leaves near culvert mouths is the fact that they tend to catch the entrance (edit: by entrance, i mean the mud - if it's slick, they can't catch and the water's enough to make them slide) (sticks too) and they end up building up. Pouring a funnel helps mitigate that. Of course, excessive stickage will clog even that, but for general purpose leaf issues, perfect. I did this at my property (about the same conditions, but with a small river mouth a km above that road point) and i haven't had to go clean that culvert in years with the exception of really heavy storms (mudvalanche). Really does work. I used plastic to make a smooth face to it. Once it set, i pealed it off.
shout to andrew for single handedly driving down a steep hill covered in snow all while operating his drone to give us great cinematic shots of that beautiful dodge, view and dogs
culvert/drainage videos were what got me into camarat's channel back in 2018. my favorite video was when he fixed the driveway with the busted old tin culvert pipe. must've watched it 20 times!
I would love to come over and run some equipment. I’m 54 and feel digging and moving dirt would help with my agoraphobia and severe anxiety. I’m trying to get one of those Chinese ones. Maybe in the coming years. You have the best content. Thanks

Thanks Andrew, enjoyed your video. Always love your drone shots following your truck through the woods. I swear you’re going to run us into a tree, but you never do; at least the main trunk anyway. 😊
Nice job of putting in the culvert. The only thing I see I would do different is, I have found those big rocks against a plastic culvert cave wear holes in them. We always put gravel or dirt around the pipe. As you have found small pipes plug. We don't have the leaf problem here in idaho you have. Also the dirt and gravel help seal around the head end so it doesn't leak around the rocks. Every country is different so it may not be the case in New York. Keep up the good work.
My wife said to me "So, you're going to sit there watching Andrew Camarata install a culvert pipe for the next hour, are you? Well, that's the sort of thing that's going to jeopardize our marriage!"......."Been nice knowing you!" I replied.
my gf gave me shit once for watching him do stuff for an hour, I replied "bitch I watch you watch your nails for an hour" She sits on my lap and watches all his videos with me.
In case you didn't see it on your video, a sizable rock washed into the pipe with that last slug of leaves. Likely it will stop half way through and plug up next wash. In wetlands oil field, operators use a long sapling tied to their backhoe to stick up inside culverts and swab em out.
What what I remember from Post10 videos, you may not have dug the culvert deep enough.. You drive A LOT of heavy machinery up that road, and that thin walled plastic pipe is meant to hold the weight of them?

Andrew I’ve had a lot of experiences with the culvert pipes on our mountain road. The 14” pipe you just put in is fine. But it needs to be on a 45° angle going across the road. This way the water keeps moving faster on a 45° angle. I’m just trying to help you out. You do lots of great work, and I always enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the great work.
Thanks Andrew for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless us all in divine light, how nice to see a other video from you I miss your working vids and your playing in the snow.

A Bigger skid steer would be great. At least i could sit down instead of standing constantly.
