I’m waiting for my new Shimano shifter brakes to arrive today and will be working on my Trek 800. I’m just getting started in trying to fix it up myself. I’ve never done anything like replacing cables and shifters. Hopefully all goes well. I found your channel when I was looking for bikes and saw one you listed. Great videos. Keep it up.

Nice! at 58 yrs old, I still own my TREK Mountain Track 850 which I bought new in 1994 for $390.00. I did a few small carbon upgrades but everything is original and the bike has been well kept. I ride it occasionally on the local rail trail but I do love the bike. It fits me well, rides smooth and is built better than my other modern bikes.
