the thing about ReZero that no one really gets on a first viewing is that time actually matters in everything going on, not that it's repeating but that when he restarts and does something, it is happening in real time for him and there are always affects for that.
You can see it in this episode especially there's a specific scene that hints at things like this.

shy.. not poetic and also its a typical anime/manga meme 99% only for manga/anime use in different manga/anime also its a shy way to say bc it sounds a bit like if you say i love you if you speak gibberish bc the start of the sentence i love you, start with suki(love)... and they start the sentence but are to shy to end it so they say it like ga kirei desu ne (is pretty isnt it?) by moon(tsuki) and love(suki) sounds same if you dont speak clear you can change up the sentence after beginning...
i know you know this for sure and its not for you its for all theese fellows if they listen/read this for the first time and are unusual with manga/anime slang

Ram is slightly older than Rem, so she calls Rem by her name and Rem calls Ram the Japanese equivalent of "big sister." This is true of all two-child homes in Japan. The younger calls the older by title and the older calls the younger by name. This is true even for twins born only minutes apart. When there are more than one older sibling, the younger sibling calls them by name+title.

For some reason, Subaru can understand Lugunica's language when spoken (maybe because the author didn't want to deal with an entire Arc of his MC being unable to communicate 😅), but he can't read or write it. I think that in the novels, Emilia noticed in the first loop that Subaru couldn't read the street names while looking for Felt.
