Not saying she is misunderstanding this. Just that if she was, watching more wouldn't clear up the misunderstanding.
@@TurntBucket Because in one of the next couple of episodes Betty mentions meeting him before the reset day, implying that the first time they met she didn't kill him. And that the maids not appearing the first time he woke up is because that was much earlier on the same day.
She literally tells him later that she only drained his mana on their first meeting.
