I have similar welder. When l first tried it out l got very inconsistent welds. It seems that that particular wire feed is actually designed to handle a wire roll mounted in the vertical position. The second they mounted it horizontally you have to contend with drag from the spindle as well as the drag from the base. This caused the wire roll to lurch along making wonky welds. I ended up cutting a section of the spring that holds the roll to reduce the pressure and added a spot of grease to the spindle and base. That smoothed out the feed. Cheers.
@@bunyanforgings7849 on this one I have kept tension on the spool otherwise it tries to unwind itself. The rollers have to actually pull it off the spool so far it runs very smoothly.
Broken finger on the mend? You should know ducktape is the go to in the US garage, but electric tape will do in a pinch. A 3D printed splint would be safer for welding with. Looks like alot of those cheap inverter welders are real nice. My old welder is so heavy that it will put you a hurting trying to get it in the bed of a truck and only does stick and needs a high amp 230v curcuit, were many of the inverter types will even run 120v.
The finger isn’t broken, I have trigger finger which is very painful when it triggers so when Im not working I keep it straight with the little splint!
If it's tumu produce I've had quality issues and without guarantee of satisfaction I don't further have dealing with most Chinese products to high of risk to deal with.
@@garyhuston Thanks Gary coming from you I'll rewatch the video and your word carries some weight hopefully you'll not judge me to hard but we got burned by Tumu and few Facebook deals. Thanks Gary.
I hope Ralph makes a full recovery and feels better soon. They’re like family for us.
Thanks for sharing the review.
I hope so too
Dog's feeling better then !(by the end of the video).
No, he’s still not better now. But on the mend. I hope I will be able to go to work next week.

@@garyhuston There must be alternate motor sizes. Mine is about 3 1/2 years old. Must have made improvements. Thx.
You have all the toys. 😎
I like the size of it
Yes, it’s small enough to sling in the boot of a car and go anywhere with. Light enough to carry up flights of stairs.

They sure do! He’s slowly getting better.

It’s not temu, but it is Chinese. I have had lots of Chinese products and “for the price” they have generally been pretty good.
