- African Youth in the Diasporas tours Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Castle and the Assin Manso Slave "Market", Ghana to learn about their roots to the Americas and Europe. After hearing the tour guard's orientation about the slave enrooting, they burst into tears.
I try not to cry most of the time but I could not hold back the tears. Man's inhumanity to man! Never again but modern day slavery continues.
Who said that those who enslaved us were men? #seedofthefallen #nephlim
They BRANDED the AFRICANS in these dungeons with the CROSS using this SLAVE religion to destroy Africans. Your religion is a tool for destruction and control. 😮@repentandbelieveinJesusChrist1😮
Africa's decendants. When you come back home, walk with your shoulders straight and heads up in the air. You belong!!!!!!
Our ancestors has been through this, when I watched black Americans fighting each other it really hurt me a lot, blacks need to be one and love each other, peace and love mama African
people will always fight each other no matter what skin color they have. I always find it weird when people make comments like you.
We Africans also.fihht each other
I feel that seeing places such as that brings out all those years of pent up emotions. It may be on the way of enabling the healing process that many of us need. Perhaps some are not aware of having any knowledge of the effects and issues that are emotionally buried.
There's this feeling you get once you're in there, and it's as if they are there with you cos you feel their presence still inside. It's It's really sad
Its the blood in your veins
I thank God that you guys made it to Ghana 🇬🇭 , and then know the real truth , don't forget to tell others and pass the message on , God bless you all for making it to your Homeland
The first time I visited there I never cry but when I see other who visit crying then I begin sharing tears too
I am thousands of miles away from the continent and I am watching a prerecorded video and it causes my eyes to full with tears… I can’t imagine what these Guides , people who was experiencing this tour Felt ..The atrocities that took place on the African continent are never mentioned whenever genocide and Human Rights are Mentioned.. What that Monster Belgium King did to the Congolese people and the Germans did to Rwanda and the French did to Togo and other African countries aren’t mentioned..Only European Genocide Matters and is spoken about and European as two words for their Genocide ,(NEVER AGAIN)..The only people that had felt no sympathy for what was done to the indigenous people of the African continent are Europeans..
Our leaders are weak n corrupt else
I went there 6 months ago. Heart wrenching
The worst was that above the perverts were praisung God, and having a good time. The all did this. Its in the DNA.
I was there in June 2022 and l must say the tour guides do an excellent job and they sure know how to make the visitors cry.
Hmmm. Tour guides "knowing how" to make you cry?! I dont get it - they are just simply narrating the history behind what you ar seeing. D u want them tk laugh when they talk about these. These guides have become immune to the pain they see everyday doing their work. I cannot do such a job, too painfall
@@ernestmwape Having worked in travel and tourism for over 30 years. I stand by my statement. They are good at what they do and they know how to do it . Some of them can be overly dramatic with the details they give. This is in no way meant to diminish the history of the stories they are telling.
@@chrisc1881 i ve also seen my fair of tourist guides that ar so patriotic or commercial in their orientation. The slave dangeons in west Africa, Robben Island in South Africa, genocide museum in Rwanda or Nazi "ovens for humans" in Berlin, Nagasaki/Hiroshima dont need dramatic story tellers - just like Derick Calvin with his knee on George Floyd's neck dont need anybody to describe what happened. A culprit surely needs to whitewash and revise his "story" sometimes🤷♂️🤔
They don't make people cry they just tell the truth of what happened.theres no joy in tht.its actually sad.
Mi from muma Ghana 🇬🇭. Our ancestors really suffered fi I & I.
Too too sad...
I am from the Island of Dominica, 68yrs old all I need for my ancestors sake is not to return and live but to return home and leave a free man a citizen of Mother Africa , I think we should all be made citizens
You are always welcome. And nobody will make you feel inferior. We don't believe in racism.
It was interesting to learn about the British youths experience at Elmina dungeon. I plan to go this year.
Please 🙏 come to cape coast 🇬🇭 is a peaceful place to stay
It's good to see the young people learn about their roots and the history of Slavery and how they treated like human cargo.
Back to the Root is the best choice Akwaaba to Ghana the gateway to Africa Black Stars motherland 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭✊
Welcome home and stay
People’s what to know their roots
All black in the world starting back to Africa
I’m exciting to you guys I’m
Ethiopian
Living outside like 34 years
THE IRONY IS THAT PRACTICALLY ALL OF THEM HAS 4Gotten about this experience. The hustle and bustle of everyday life,Paying bills etc will not make you think ..
Hmmm , this one is even better, I try and visit the one in Togo too.
I think all sons and daughters of Africa should retract their steps, come and see the land your ancestors were illegal uprooted.
Unfortunately today, nowadays in Africa where such a tragedy took place, millions must be born to suffer simply because they want to be free, people must be in jail in similar conditions because they have dared to say they want democracy, thousands must flee persecution and deprivation, millions must live in an atmosphere of fear despite such castles of horror that say a past where Africans were denied freedom, respect, benevolence. Nowadays people in Africa perpetuate such a past and they find thousands of reasons to justified it. This is the other tragedy, the modern one.
And for African Youth in the Diasporas such a past is a requirement for them to behave with dignity in respecting themselves and others, by staying away from gangs and all these troubles of knives crimes, etc.
Mi cyann believe dis.Too sad...
They are surprised that people should treat people like that
Who posted this with false caption??? They are not African Americans!! They are British kids!
Yes I agree with you cos the feeling of African American children in there is always different from the British kids.
I saw that when I went in there with my kids front Europe. They asked me why were the African American kids crying?
I told my kids is not them crying but the DNA in them crying.
you are right.. but still, in all, all blacks are from Africa

Can we as AFRICANS GO PAST THIS. WHAT HAPPENED HAD HAPPENED.
Can Black/African Americans get past what they did to us Never.
I'm never going to get past this I can't what they did to my people and what they still doing to my people
A Ghanaian proverb say"if you don't know where you are coming from, you will never know where you are going".
If we ever forget this, the savages will do it again but next time, they will completely wipe us out. Never again!!
They have British accents.. there Are not African Americans
Those people that were enslaved was not Africans.
@ Mabe Lilly: kindly tell us who were they. It will be very kind to do us all a favour if we know where the enclaved came from.
