Really good video. I've beat 6 other SMT's before i started Soul Hackers but they've all used press-turn and were considerably more modern. I had no idea where to start with this game lol. I made it to the part with Singh before I tried to get help. I guess I will need to set some time aside to grind for that sweet sweet M.
I learned this hard way when I was at the VR Art Museum and I start noticing that I'm losing alot of Magnetite, especially when I'm trying to escape a battle with my Demon allies around or adding demons. From that point on I basically only use my Demon allies for the boss fights and just have myself and Nemissa to the party which still does pretty well in the run. I am starting to add more Ag to Nemissa cuz I was adding alot of Mag and Int to her but I kept forgetting to add Ag to her, while myself has high Ag and Str but I might start adding more Lu to him now
the crazyest part is this is the 3rd SMT game I played 2nd all the way to the end. My first was Persona 4 followed by Devil Survivor overclocked. I played this and persona 3 at the same time

also don't use the bank, its a scam. it only gives you interest one every HOUR of your playtime, just trade magnetite for yen. Also Nemechi has two different evolution paths, male or female, plus you can only buy Nemechi demons that are equal or lower to your level.
I keep reading that Luck is a dump-stat, that it's kind of useless and it doesn't contribute much aside from gun accuracy and after-battle item drop rate. So it's nice to hear that it actually DOES increase crit rates considerably. So what else does Luck affect besides these things?
Strange Journey and playing SMT 1 & 2 before the release of this game (SMT 1 & 2 around the DS age) prepared me for everything this game had to offer! (Had to get use to the "Loyalty" system! Playing the Sega Saturn Devil Summoner 1 this is a sequel was easy because I remembered this one! It's funny how this and Devil Summoner 1 are like Raidou 1 & 2 in that 1 and Soulless Army are what introduced the systems that were unrefined then and Soul Hackers & King Abaddon refined things.....they both had a thing with taking alot from the previous games story as DS1 and Soul Hackers story and final boss lore are VERY similar!) Fun game, hope to rebuy it digital next year before the 3DS shop closes down! (I know they said nothing, but you know they'll bring it up. So best to grab it as I doubt I'll find it physical again! I'm on my switch, but I do want to play my SMT games sans Devil Survivor 1 on the 3DS from time to time...along with Etrian Odyssey and Fire Emblem sans Awakening!)
The devil summoner spin offs are my absolute favorite. They definitely bring a different flavor when it comes to SMT. The raidou games took some getting used to, but after beating them, I love them for what they are.
@@shinmegamitalks Indeed! Would love Atlus to come back to the series one day....but not as a third Raidou game! I feel the story of Raidou is pretty much done at this point and would love more a sequel to Soul Hackers (Basically return it to the modern era, and make the MC another "poor unfortunate soul" who's dragged into the secret world of demons and the supernatural like the MC of both DS1 and Soul Hackers! Better justifies them being at Level 1 and not knowing basic information DS know as their a noob!), Hell I'll take a story set at a point where you could still run into an older more experienced Raidou if you want to have him in the story! Persona's got too much love and doesn't need anymore shit till Persona 6 and SMT.....well I say 5 was released so time to think of other SMT games now (I love 5 as I loved the other Mainline SMT).
Another good tip is to check the Zoma fusions, like the big form changes. Get an idea for what they look like (muh fashion SMT) and what you might want. Also, following the basic team-building setup of 1 demon, 1 Zeed, 1 MC and 1 Nemissa, I've had no problems at all with magnetite so far. If anything, I have too much MAG. You don't use much mag if you only have 1 or 2 of them out. You can always summon a full party specifically for bosses.
