Power to Rule the Street and Dragstrip. There is absolutely no replacement for displacement. The Scat Stroker Series 9000 will punch out the existing 302ci of your V8 to a 331ci and subsequently produce way more power and torque. Specifically designed for the 1979 to 1995 pushrod 5.0-liter V8 Mustang, this Scat 331 ci rotating assembly comes complete with everything you need to increase the displacement of the engine. Matching the flat top pistons with a 58cc head will result in compression ratio of 10.4:1, 64cc gives 9.7:1, and 8.9:1 with 70cc heads. Matched with a high flowing intake, cylinder heads and camshaft, a 331 stroker can easily make 400 horsepower at the crank.
Complete Stroker Kit. The Scat Stroker comes with a lightweight 9000-series cast crankshaft, Pro Stock I-beam connecting rods, ARP 8740 3/8” cap screw bolts, forged flat top pistons, piston rings, and main rod bearings. The Scat Stroker Rotating Assembly is unbalanced and will need a 28 oz. harmonic balancer and a 28 oz. flywheel or flex plate.
Professional Installation Recommended. The Scat Stroker Series 9000 is a complete stroker kit that will increase the displacement of your pushrod 5.0-liter V8 motor. The installation requires the trained expertise of a professional mechanic along with a complete set of hand tools.
