So very happy that you reached 2K, you deserve so much to keep growing! ❤️ we had Mt Takao on our radar but somehow always did other different getaways from Tokyo, it is very lovely! I am a little afraid of heights but I think I would like to try the chair lift, is it each chair for one person only? And that tempura & soba looked so delish 🤤😋 about the monkey park I think I prefer the one at Arashiyama in Kyoto, have you visited? It is fully open and the monkeys are free to roam wherever they want on the mountain 🐵❤️
Thank you so much! Actually quite shocked we’ve reached 2k but we are really so grateful! We did a little happy dance this morning when we saw we had reached 2k. Lol Awww! You should have gone still! The main route(Omotesando Trail) is negative percent dangerous. Lol the chair lift can fit two so you and your husband can definitely go on it together! ❤️ The tempura was TOP NOTCH! I didn’t want to stop eating! I was sad when I finished everything. Hahahaha the diba and tempura together was definitely perfection! I’ve been to Kyoto but I didn’t go to the monkey park! I’m sure it’s so much better! I felt like the one in Mt Takao was a little too small for 80 monkeys. They were super cute though. Haha
Somehow, whenever we go, most restaurants are closed ... we might eat some grilled mochi on a stick, but usually we bring onigiri :D And congrats on 2K!
Oh no!! That’s unfortunate! 😔 Even the restaurants at the base? The ones on the peak are a tad bit pricey so we also bring onigiri whenever we climb hahaha can’t go wrong with some onigiri! Which one is your favorite? Thank you so much! 🥹 We are really grateful!
All the pickled veggies and herbs look amazing!! I'm obsessed with sides like such,, you just can't stop picking at it and it's super home-y/nostalgic :')) Huge fan of your videos, can't believe I just found you now. Congrats on hitting 2k! ❤
Whaaaat you are the absolute sweetest! 💕 I’m also super obsessed with pickles and sides. They just make the meal so much more fun and delicious! Haha honestly, I wanted more but I knew we were going to have a full meal right after so I had to hold back. Lol Oh yes! You’re absolutely right! The little black markings! It just might be persimmon! It didn’t taste like persimmon anymore though. 😭 Thank you so much, Nina! ❤️
Congrats on reaching 2k! Recently came across your videos, keep up the great work! We went to mt Takao during our honeymoon trip to Tokyo. Only made it halfway 😅
Awww thank you so much! We were pretty stoked yesterday morning when we saw we had reached the 2k mark! ❤️ We really appreciate you watching and subscribing! 🥹 Oh! Which trail did you use? 😳 Did you at least get to eat some grilled mochi?
@@whatchuHANAdo it was probably the easiest trail 😅 We had to give up due to our backpain from walking soooo much around Tokyo. Oh boy did we ever, that was the best grilled mochi we've ever had!! Would climb Mt Takao again for the mochi 😂 We also had beer the same place you went to, such an awesome view (and well deserved sip 😜)
@@puteracamaro Oh man! I'm sorry about the back pain. I feel you! And you're absolutely right...there's A LOT of walking in Tokyo. Just. A TON of walking. Haha I loved walking even before I moved here but living in Tokyo...walking is on a different level. Lol RIGHT?! Best grilled mochi EVER.
