2024 Honda Civic Type R FL5 Full Review -A Halo Car Done Right

The Honda Civic Type R FL5 is the best front wheel drive car that you can buy for the money in the Philippines and arguably in the world. It is an incrementally better car than the FK8 in almost every way. It has the same engine but it produces slightly more power, it's 15% stiffer, it sounds a little bit better. But is it enough to justify the upgrade? in this video, we'll take the FL5 to the twisties to see how much better it performs and we'll drive it everyday in the city to see if it's a much better daily than the FK8

You're incorrect that the FK8 had fake vents on the sides. Those were actually fully functional. The reason people think they're fake is because you can't see through to the wheels. But that's not what they're venting. If you look at the hood scoop from underneath you see it channels the air straight out and down to the side vents. There's a big hole in the center right under the hood scoop, so it creates a venturi suction effect, pulling up air from under the car through the engine and out the sides. I always thought it was fake too until my mechanic pointed out how it all worked to me when he looked at my car.

When youre a 4ft nothing Filo, the back seems spacious but for people 5ft9 or over, the back seats are tight when sitting behind your driver position. Terrific driver's car no doubt, and the best fwd on the market, but at the price range, i think the BMW m135i xdrive is a much better overall package

I own a new twenty two honda s I. And I do like the new type r but. It looks like they bought the rear spolier off amazon after market. My assign has more of a lip design I prefer it a lot. For the price of the type by they could have done better.

This looks way better than the previous gen. the FK8 looks hideous. I've seen people put after market parts and it didn't help. the tail light is ugly af.
If you used to play legos as a kid, you'll know that the FK8 looks like random lego parts put together, it fits but doesn't look good.
