- Acrylic pour paint consistency ~ Thick versus thin swipe comparison with just paint and water. Many people struggle with paint consistency, so in this demonstration, I use a thick & thin consistency to compare which one works best for cell creation. Surprisingly, I never thought to test the effects with different swiping TOOLS, but @LeftBrainedArtist did a similar test that sparked this idea. Hopefully, you'll find this video helpful. ✅️ Please don't forget to👍LIKE 🔊 SHARE 🔔 SUBSCRIBE & COMMENT. I appreciate your support! 💕 @ShannonGibsonArtDesigns

INSPIRATION✨️CREATIVITY✨️VISION
I began my art journey early on in life, first with a sketchbook, then I tried portrait realism, and when I discovered abstract fluid painting, I became addicted. I love art forms, but modern contemporary art is what I gravitate towards. Whether it's visualizing furniture placement or mixing paint for an acrylic pour, I'm in my happy place when I create. Color evokes emotion in so many ways, and I can only hope that my videos will inspire, lift you, or put a smile on your face. Thank you for coming on this journey with me.

Another excellent and informative video Shannon. They're so helpful to us newbies. Thank you.😊
You're so welcome! 🙂 I'm glad to help.
Hey Shannon thanks for sharing that I used to do so many swipes well and I still have it's just been a little while but I always keep a deck of cards to where I can cut them if I need to for the edges driver's license something like that casino cards that you have to put in the machine that are more sturdy and I do have the plastic or whatever you want to call it I don't think I've tried a magnet pretty sure I haven't. Totally agree on the swipe they need to be a little bit bigger not as thick as a bloom but not super super thin. Thanks for sharing again. As I've said before your heart speaks for itself it's absolutely breathtaking.
Thank you so so much, I've been looking for this answer in a video.
Can you use any magnet..good video.
As long as it's flexible. Thank you. 😊
Very helpful! Thank you ❤️
Perfect! 🙂 Thank you for watching.
Thank you so much for the valuable info, Shannon. I have watched many of the Left Brained Artist’s videos and although his name escapes me at the moment, he’s awesome! I’ve picked up and adopted several of his suggestions. Consistency, like yours, was one and how to make an affordable tub like thingie to catch paint using a cement mixing tub.
You’re wonderful and thanks again! ❤️
No, you're wonderful Alice! 🙂 You take the time to leave me suck kind and encouraging comments. I really do appreciate your continued support! 😘💕💕
It seems so many people these days express unhappiness when they’re upset about something. But do those types ever leave encouraging remarks? I’m betting “nope”. So when I view someone I like who is talented and obviously enjoys sharing valuable insight, I’ll be up there in line to encourage and express how much I loved the piece. If someone is going to take the time to do what you do, then the least someone viewing your videos can do is leave a comment, like and subscribe if it’s up their alley. Your techniques and color palettes are definitely up my alley. ☺️❤️
@@alicerowan4688 YOU ROCK!!!!!💕💕💕💕
So do YOU❣️ 😂
His name is David, by the way
Thank you for this interesting video. What you consider thick, I would consider thin. But I don't do a lot of paintings where thinner paint is needed. I really like the idea of the magnet though. I'll have to give it a try! I have a thousand of them on my fridge 🤣
Thank you for joining me! ☆ Don't forget to like, share & subscribe! 👍🔔
Thanks for this demo. What ratios are you using?
For this pour, just paint and water, I don't measure. Thank you for watching. 🖌🙂
i'm new here,,,!!!
i already love your art and thank you for the way your explain everything!!!!!!😍
You're so welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching. 🖌🙂💕
Thanks so much for sharing this video. It was extremely helpful as I’m so new at this paint pouring process. I love love your work and personality so much! My family’s from Newfoundland but I’m born and raised in Toronto Ontario. I’m guessing your from British Columbia? Or am I way off? Lolololol
Nova Scotia, about an hour or so Flight fromToronto. Welcome my fellow Canadian I'm glad you enjoy my videos. 🇨🇦💕
I enjoyed the video. I would like to know what you mix your flow black with. You mentioned in another video, no floetrol. Please help...
Hi, I did mention in the video that I used Floetrol as the cell activator. 🙂
@@ShannonGibsonArtDesigns I do see that you mix the titanium white with floetrol to get cells but I don't see that you mix your flow black with anything but maybe water? I know that some think that floetrol dulls the color.
@Patricia Dodson HI, I did not mix the black with anything except water. 🙂
