The M4 Pro is about on par with RTX 3060... for games that work. I wonder if they will make a move in to gaming, and release an M6, M6 pro and M6 g, with the gaming chip to have less cpu cores then a pro but more gpu power for gaming.

I have been using nvidia GeForce now (the highest configuration) to play Fortnite on my m4 Mac mini with a 240hz monitor. I guess I’m really close to a server because I get 0 ping from the computer on nvidias side itself and 12-20 ping via the nvidia stats to the stream itself. I turned on performance mode on the nvidia app itself. My graphics settings on Fortnite are performance with tweaks. It still looks great and I’m getting 180-230fps ish to my monitor from the stream. It’s playing as good or better than my Xbox series s. I played it at someone else’s house at first where I was close to the router and I was getting 16-20 ping and I didn’t have many stutters or lag spikes. At my house where I get the 12-20 ping, I am far away from my router and through several walls but I have been having more lag spikes and such. I will run a Ethernet cables to see if I get smoother performance but when it doesn’t have lag spikes, it is still better than my Xbox from what I can tell.
Hi, this called Metal Hud to see FPS and CPU, RAM, GPU usage. If you're using Apple Silicon Mac, turned it on by using this command in your terminal: Enable HUD: /bin/launchctl setenv MTL_HUD_ENABLED 1 Disable HUD: /bin/launchctl setenv MTL_HUD_ENABLED 0 Hope this help!
@tommydoan34 have you tried running Valorant on VM? Because as far as I know, the Valorant anti cheat system can't run on VM. Not a single video on the internet shows how to successfully run Valorant on Mac.

don't buy a Mac for gaming AT ALL. I have a Mac mini and can't download xbox app or use epic gaming. there's many games you can't download on Mac. I have to use xbox cloud gaming and unfortunately very laggy

Using Playcover you can run iPad version of pubg which is far more smooth and beautiful than the android emulator.

Nearing 2025, fps should be tested on 4k or at least 1440 resolution. No point to test on 1080p.
2020: WTF Gaming on a Mac ???

Why is your GTA 5 running so fast? I'm getting only 15-25 fps. I installed the Game Porting Toolkit 2. Latest CrossOver version.
Like I mentioned on the video, the graphical settings were set at medium running at 5k resolution, if I were lower my setting, I even got better FPS!
