i'm not in the best emotional state right now, so hearing Brian's voice, his guitar playing and the song as a whole, i, without noticing it, started to cry and.. i don't even fully know why exactly, it's so weird and embarrassing to admit that these tears were some kind of nostalgia for the past, for the past times in which i didn't even exist, dammit, haha.
Very moving message. Hope you can return happiness soon and that you have people to reach out to in the meantime. Music is so powerful in evoking and soothing emotions, particularly Queen's compositions. Take care and very best wishes.

One of my favorite clips of Freddie getting off a boat and someone is waiting there asking him for an interview. He says “interview? DON’T BE RIDICULOUS! Love when Brian says that in this interview. Freddie’s voice in those early years was incredible. Brian is always so grounded.
Saw Queen on there first tour, Oxford, supporting Mott The Hoople, fantastic, if I remember correctly, two encores, then twice more after that, amazing.
While I especially loved the heavier Queen 1 tracks in my youth, "The Night Comes Down" rose to my attention in more recent years to be on my phone playlist of "Queen trippy mellow tracks" heard a lot while relaxing. So I'm over-the-moon it has had this renewed attention. A wonderful and unique song!
The drum sound is amazing on the new mix of the hole album, especially the floor toms. Roger new how to tune his drums. Regards from a hugh Swedish Queen fan since 1975.
Love this Album, i bought it in the early 80s as young teenage lad and didn't quite get it until a handful of years later when i suffered my first love and inevitable loss, It's still a very personal and emotional Record for me to this day!
I first became aware of Queen when they released the "Killer Queen" single in 1974. They were on a UK show called "Top of The Pops" and I was blown away by the song and Freddie's flamboyance and presence. I was 14 and I asked for the "Sheer Heart Attack" album for Christmas which my brother got for me. I loved and still love that album and the many others I collected since. I was lucky enough to see them live in a local theatre the following year with a school friend. It was part of the "A Night At The Opera" tour and I still remember that concert as one of the best I ever saw. "The Night Comes Down" from "Queen" also became a firm favourite of mine. But so many Queen songs just bring back so many warm memories. Such a great band full of, in my opinion, limitless talent.
I as a life long old Queen fan like this new Mix. The sound and mastering is fantastic. You can hear very clear every instrument. Especially Deacys Bass sound. Great. 👍
Queen saved me! Honestly, hearing and reading and learning from their music saved me then! Brian, you have been that savior since we lost Freddie; thank you so much!
I love the new remix of Queen 1 and love the fantastic starfleet remix. I feel like ive discovered new albums again and ive gone back to my youth. Brilliant.
The Album brings back strong memories for me at 7yrs old listening to music that was completely different to everything else that was out at that time, I connected with it and have loved it ever since.
Love Queen 1. So clean. A real treat. I can hear all the instruments. The original can be very hard listening. ❤ Happily recommended it to my daughter. Being a historical artifact is all very well but it also needs to appeal to younger ears to stay alive.
@@neilbower9052 wouldn’t call it garbage, but not the best. AI is horrible. Love Queen, but that remaster, no. Keep Yourself Alive is much better & thankfully, no AI in video
It’s been so much fun to enjoy Queen I. The soundstage and placement are incredibly fun to experience. There’s a lot in the original mix that just wasn’t quite coming out in this reworked version. Lovely. Hopefully Queen II and Sheer Heart Attack get a similar treatment.
The first Queen sing i listen to is in 92 i want to break free. At first i was not very interested but later brian lead guitar melody compel me to listen and now this band incudes in one of my favorite genre.
The night comes down is a standout track from the 1st album such early talent what a band.freddies awesome vocal & harmonies practiced in college? Queen history🤗
💜🎸🎶🦔 thank you for this new version of the album. Already loved the old one. Will be nice to compare the two, hear the differences. Can understand that you as artists, perfectionists, want to make use of new techniques and do this. Necessary? Maybe not. But it is your lives’ work and very welcome. Again thank you for all your amazing music, soundtrack of my life.
I love Queen I and II! I first heard both in 1980. I own the vinyl for both. Queen II is my absolute favorite. I was always frustrated how flat they were mixed. So I'm sort of on the fence about this new version. I like it, but... you know?
I love this first album and so it's great to hear it with a new clarity. I'm not so keen on the fact that some of Freddie's vocals have been 'corrected' with pitch-shifting - but I won't let it spoil my overall enjoyment. Perhaps it won't be necessary to do this when you get round to remixing Queen II.

I always liked the song since the day I first heard it. Even then John, Roger and Brian sounded like Queen and even now, without John, they don't, which is why they can't record more music reallly. Without the input of Freddie and John it wouldn't sound the same. Like he said....Freddie made a song his own and John...."He's very quick. He's very adept is John". They don't have that any more
The 2024 version is incredibly beautiful! The acoustic guitars especially in the last spurt or before it were half hidden in the original version 1972 but here, they appeared and just heavenly!!! I far prefer the 2024 version, every instrument is crystal clear, I even have no time to breath. The drum sound is far better too, what a difference! Thank you Brian! From Japan! ❤
