I just discovered them LAST NIGHT the 9th of May 2023 @ like 10pm pst from a SHORT of their Club Magisty & IT'S ON !
I can't get over how perfect the sound mix is. It's crisp, clear, and you can perfectly hear each instrument. Whoever is doing the mix deserves a Nobel prize.
That's because they are probably not playing much of live. Mostly you are listening to a track.
this sounds deeply retouched, edited, re-recorded, overdubbed, tuned, etc.
The mix can make or break a show
@@victorbicudo1374you are delusional if you think that way. I guess that's what happens when you only listen to trash bands that aren't tight live and don't know their rigs.
Although it's a fest and the mix sounds surprisingly great it's clear this is live
I've been watching quite a few of their live performance videos and Stop Movin' is the most telling, that they're not playing fully live. It literally starts with a backing track and the chorus sounds way too clean for a live show imo.
That said, I do enjoy their tunes and their energy is great!
The best bands at festivals are almost never the headline acts. Perfect example right here.

Man, I SO DAMN BADLY WANT TO SEE THEM LIVE AAAAAAHHHH. This is by far their BEST song and this is probably the best live version of it yet! I hope to keep seeing even more Royal Republic live!
