How is it that only in 2023 do I hear about Royal Republic? Pure awesomeness!! Love the AC/DC riff in Tommy Gun. These guys are not only great musicians but excellent showmen. And how in the hell do Swedes learn to speak perfect English with a perfect American accent? Keep using red coats and pearls - quirky but unique.
He speaks English without the hint of an accent. They must teach it in schools to young kids.

Man this song is legendary. I cannot get enough of it. The AC/DC solo is wicked too! Plus any rock/metal band with a Tele is legendary status as well, single coils all the way!!

Give that band and their FOH a big round of applause... each instrument is distinct and cuts... that guitar distortion when the whole band kicks in is perfection.
Ive never heard this band until recently.. and seeing how they covered Metallica songs like battery, and Motorhead songs like Ace of Spades.. I totally thought this was going to be Royal Republic covering the song Tommy Gun by The Clash lol. I'm digging these guys. Gotta admit It'd be pretty awesome to see a band dressed up all dapper like this band and play straight up heavy metal.

@@rickjason215 They actually aired a TV ad for Tommy-Gun in Sweden when it was released. I remember the first album being pushed really hard, then it kind of died down. Sucks, because they keep getting better

They were great at Bloodstock this year, they're one of those bands that could get away with playing at any festival and still get the crowd going.
They could even do Glasto or Leeds/Reading. Hell, even somewhere like Creamfields if they cover Smack my Bitch Up by the Prodigy 😆
