I had a lot of people ask me about that spoiler type lip on the back of the talbot yellow 911SC. So I figured why not remove it and see what it's all about.
Looks so much better stock. The first Porsche I ever drove was a silver ‘81 SC when I was 16 and I’ve wanted one ever since. Should have bought one years ago when they were reasonably priced but life and responsibilities get in the way. And I was one of the people who didn’t know what that air scoop was for haha. Really enjoy your videos 👍
😃 I love how you keep bringing up the paint job. It is such a cool color though. Those gauges 🤦 and with that other steering wheel? Color blind I guess. Love your videos man, you make laugh when you talk about about this paint. 👊 See you at DRT
Looks way better without it. When the paint is sorted it will be a really nice car, I’d have thought being factory non sport optioned (no spoilers) in yellow would be quite a rare car? …you don’t see many like it here in the UK.
Agreed it looks way better now. And also agree that talbot yellow (or any 911 of the era) without spoilers is even more rare. Someone will get a great car
Original is always best....looks natural....thank you for all your videos...keeping these cars alive and on the road is worth it. They do not make them like this anymore!
@@markcrichton3317 I have sent cars all over. But all that is required of me is to drop off the car at the shipper along with the title. The shippers take care of the rest
If not mistaken- that baby ducktail was originally fabricated by Singer when offering their 964 / 3.2 modification cars - then some aftermarket suppliers started offering to mimic the Singer look - my view - either you have a Singer RestoMod or you don’t - faking it is well….. you know where I’m going
The Boxster is at the body shop. Insurance company is playing their games but they don't know I have all the time in the world to make them pay what's fair. They tried to shut me up with a check for $3000 LOL - Not gonna happen
Love the shade of yellow. Beautiful car.
It really is!
Thanks, was wondering about the Deck lid too.
Decklid had to go!! I actually still have it. Should make some wall art or something out of it
Love this channel it has the most interesting content on Porsche
Appreciate it !!
Nothing looks better than the slick tail!!
The reservoir comes out pretty easy. Just disconnect the hose and pull. Then the compressor bolt is there but you need an extension to get to it
Looks so much better without that aftermarket part. Keep the videos coming, really enjoy them
Thanks, will do!

Beautiful car!
Thanks :-)
Car sounds good. Much better without the spoiler. Shame about the paint job, but I love the color.
I know. A real shame that someone did that to this beautiful car.
Agreed, much much much better
Absolutely !!!
Maybe that aftermarket "baby ducktail" was used to help bring more cold air into the condenser.
I don't see how. Seems like it was purely aesthetics. looks much better now though
@@drolasgarage632 Agreed. Much cleaner lines on the deck lid.
Next if possible, get rid of those big horrible rear black rubber bumpers!
If I were keeping the car I absolutely would. But the car is for sale so they stay
Car looks great stock.
I think so too!
Better Bodies by Porsche near San Diego may have made it.
Has it been sold?
The car was sold. I still have the spoiler
paint looks good... from the screen 🙂
Good from far, far from good LOL
Where do you advertise your cars buddy, I’m based in Scotland …… but absolutely love the colour. Cheers, Mark
this car is on ebay and also pelican parts forum in the cars for sale section
Registered on Pelican site but apparently not enough privileges to either reply to your post or send pm. Have you exported to U.K. previously?

Exactly why I removed it
Let me know if you want to sell the baby spoiler.
Sure. How about $100 + shipping?
Want to know if you still want the little duck tail? Would like to purchase it from you;)
No, I don't want it. contact me at drola964@yahoo.com
Cheers !
What ever happened to the white Boxster S?

If I can find a nice used one I'm all for it
Please drive it !
I've been driving it quite a bit :-)
@@drolasgarage632 don‘t keep all the fun for yourself . I would love to see you drive it in a video 🙏
Thank you! So ugly on that car!
I agree !! Much better without that plastic thing on there.
