      Did you lose any transmission fluid when you replaced the radiator?

    I also bought the nissens radiator and the hoses along with the coolant reservoir, cap, water pump, thermostat, idle pulleys, and just missing the belt tensioner . As soon as i get that tensioner, i will out everything all at once. I have a 2011 glk350.

    Did you lose any transmission fluid during the change? Was a top up needed?

    Is the Nissen radiator holding up?

    Idk how to feel about the angles and the bottom- side instruction. How do you remove the lines?

    Hey brother, so how do you do the bleed procedure on this vehicle? I know you said leave the heater on full blast.. and leave it on, and the thermostat will open? Is that when it’s technically bleeding? But in order for the thermostat to open up you clearly need to close the reservoir cap correct? Then at that point the coolant will go “ down “ and you’ll reopen the cap and fill it up again? Or am I missing something , thank you.

      Fill system with radiator fluid and you can keep radiator cap off during this process. Start car and turn max heat on. Let run for 10-15 mins and when fkuid drops fill it. When it no longer drops you should be good and can put cap on. Check it after next drive cycle.

      @@F80__6MT I went ahead, and did everything like you stated the coolant did lower after two hours, within a two hour. The car was off for some reason now my heater isn’t working. I think I still have air in the system somehow is there anything else you did? Do you need to push on the upper radiator hoses while the heater is on? Sorry for the bother and thank you for the help. It means a lot.

      @stgmaofficial You may still have air in the lines. Park on a hill so that there is angle. This will force air to the highest areas. Turn heat on full blast and bleed it that way. Your heater core has air which is why it's not radiating heat.

      @@F80__6MT thank you! That’s exactly what I was thinking! The first time I bled it I had followed your instructions and the radiator cap was off, but for some reason it was overflowing violently, so I let the car rest for 2+ hours then the coolant finally went down gradually, while the car was off, I then topped it off now the coolant is at the supposed fill level, but once again, I know it has air because the heater isn’t working and it was prior to the radiator change.
      So my last question is if I bleed it how you’re saying at an angle do you think it’s going to start bleeding out violently again? If so, when do I turn off the car so it doesn’t do that or is that normal? Meaning a lot of air is coming out .. thank you so much Bro it means the world that you’re helping me

    Hello, can you give me a tip? I also have to change my radiator because the screw at the bottom is broken and it always comes out. Do I now have to unscrew the entire front of the car or can I leave the bumper on? I have an E200 CGi A207 Type M271 Evo engine built in 2010

    • @F80__6MT
      @F80__6MT  Рік тому

      You can leave the bumper on but may have to remove front grill. Usually held together through plastic clips.

    Hi Sir,. I have a 2008 c300 leaking fluid from the botom of radiator, and my car is overheating on iddle,, do you think this cause the overheating, and how many hours this job with no to much experience.,,???

    • @F80__6MT
      @F80__6MT  Рік тому +1

      A leak can cause the car to overheat. Leak introduces air into the cooling system, which may cause it to run hotter. I'd plan for 4-6 hrs with little to no experience as long as you can watch these videos in between. Best of luck to you.

      @leonelchavajay8564 In my opinion, that's a steal if all you need to do is replace the radiator.
