Love these covers including here- the drums really are incredible on the song, and to think of it, so is Redding's bass and Hendrix's Fender- they work like magic together. @Magnitude2 They never played it live, sorry. Since the whole drumline in "As long as" seemed to be part of Dirk Sengotta's drum style, it isn't possible to perform it live - 'cause Sengotta left the Band long time ago. To be honest, they don't play any of the songs off "Get Closer" at the moment. I went to a concert last wednesday, the whole setlist contained songs off the last two records + "The Blues" off the first one. And then again, some Hendrix covers, as you can see.
