Conversion idea: How to convert the official daemon prince model from GW to each of the chaos gods, but using the original model as a base ;) interesting topic as its too plain to fit with any of the 4 chaos gods
I did something like that for Tzeentch at least (more Thousand son, but could be used for generic Tzeentch easily). I used the legs of the demon Prince, the torso and arms from the morghast archai set, and the head from the Free Guilds demigryph knight set. For wings I made a cast of some old GW eagles I had but you could also use something like Scourge wings I believe.
Easiest would be Catachan with Cadian torsos for the rough prisoner look, but would imply the Imperium even bothers spending the Thrones on getting them flak vests. Wargames Atlantic will be putting out "Cannon Fodder" soon and they will even come with explosive collars.
I'd love to see Chaos Space Marines to Thousand Sons, I think it'd be interesting to see your flare with making a non-rubric but still Thousand Sons CSM. Loving this Cultist series so far, can't wait to see the World Eater!
@@Hobbyrepubliken you mean like a resistance group or something? Basically forced to defend themselves without imperial help. I like the idea and was wondering what 40k civilians would look like. Also as you can see by my Cypher profile picture I have Fallen Dark Angels and would love to see your ideas for a Fallen Cultists squad.
Worldeaters are easy. Get the AoS Bloodreavers and stick some Catachan arms on them for lasgun/autoguns. For pistols and CCW, just chop of their axes and stick a gun in place.
The pose and the all over look of that model comes out pretty well. Imo its interesting that u didn't use the cypher lords as base as the corvus models look somehow wasted haha nice work!
Have you seen The Splintered Fang box set? They look like a good base model for an alpha legion conversion. The scale skin robes should go nicely with the Hydra / Dragon theme of the legion?
@@philippayne8890 Alpha Legion cultists don't openly display their allegiance to the Alpha Legion. They're not even cultists, they're operatives. They should look like normal Imperial citizens, maybe even some guardsmen among them, but with some details off about them. Or if you want to make them look really shady, there's always the Delaque gang.
Anvil Industries sell robed cultists and I keep thinking of putting an order in for some but I wouldn't be able to use them in official warhammer games?
It's usually just IG guardsmen with imperial symbols replaced with Tau ones/parts of their flak armour replaced with fire warrior gear. The original rules for gue'vasa auxillaries had them use generic lasguns alongside a couple pulse rifles, however I think running them as carbine Strike Teams would work better nowadays, and would reccomend trying to kitbash them out of scions as the carapace armour might blend better with the tau armour.
I liked this series from the start, but this particular cultist really bought me - she's damn awesome! World Eaters next please? Something more complicated then giving Corpse Grinders/AoS Khornates autopistols would be awesome - I think this is too obvious to make a right impration
I know that most people would probably say the default cultists or blackstone fortress cultists are the closest thing to black legion cultists you could get but I'd really like to see your take on cultists that praise the warmaster and his legionaries.
I've got the cultists from Dark Vengeance and Blackstone Fortress. But I want more and I don't want the same models again coz they're meant to look unique!
A box of these and a box of flagellants is probably cheaper than buying 30 gw cultists, guns would be a problem though. My personal choice for guns would be the rust stalker uzis. They have really intricate scrollwork and look super tzeenchian
Conversion idea: I know you normally only do single models but what about an inquisitors war band. Edit: after reading books like Eisenhorn and Ravenour, the characters they work with sounds like an interesting bunch of figures to create, from assassins, retired guard vets, junior inquisitors, bounty hunters...

I don't know why, but this video shows up twice on the chaos cultist kitbash playlist. They look the same, but perhaps it's Tzeentch trying harder to recruit more thralls?
I want to see them too!!! I love both the cultist leaders from the Dark Vengeance set and would like to know how to make matching cultists without having exactly the same ones again and again.
One conversion tutorial I might be interessed in would be a space wolve inspired imperial guard. (I realy love the norse theme but I am not into the heavy armor of space marines)
Hey pete, love your videos! Could you make inquisitor conversions? Just wondering, my cousin is starting a ordo hereticus army (to my disappointment) and I was looking to alternatives to the current models.
I want to convert a Drycha model and replace her body with a mrk III or Mrk IV armor so I can turn it into a greater possessed or demon prince. But I never have the time or money.
Does anybody know of a bits seller that isn't constantly sold out on any usable parts? I have been trying to get some bits (especially heads) for months now and it is seemingly impossible without buying whole kits for way too much money.
