The people who mocked Jesus 2000 years ago are the same people who mock him today. I cannot see how any of the Bible is in some way mystical. It is through the perspective that it’s all happening because of God, but the way we act and the way we are is completely the same still after all this time. If given the choices those people were given then, to choose Barabbas over Jesus, a murderer over a saviour, people’d still choose the murderer.

I felt the same way but once I started reading the Word of God more and praying more I had scriptures memorized so when I do run into temptation I remember the scriptures so I can stray away from that temptation. Earlier this year, I felt a build up within me and the feeling that something was missing. I had a God sized hole and was able to fill it and now I feel more blessed than ever that I am walking the Lord’s path. Really pains me, how so separated the church is, I hope that I see Christ one day bring us back under one house, till then I’m currently in college while working at a clinic. Trying my best to give good advice that I know to these youngsters, a lot of their stories are heartbreaking to hear how they’ve ended up here. I listen to them down to their every word to fully understand why. At the conclusion I them what to do that is good to the best of my knowledge inlined with God and they thank me. A lot of people have no one to turn to, so anyone reading this you see someone struggling day to day talk to them if you can, it could change their life

As a non christian person (or religues person) this is a verry intesting qoute. Jesus who has believed, loved and acepted god has to go tru a long and hard punismend and cries out for god jet god does not anwser and jesus spirit gives in and his eyes close for a last time. When he said “My god, my god, why have you forsaken me”. It wasn’t him losing faith, actually quiet the opposite. He was quoting a famous play/writing of the time about keeping faith, I was confused when I first heard this, I thought it was coming from a place of despair and pain. In reality even in his pain, he was faithful. I’m new to this and not one to force things on others, but his effects are real, he is real. I’ve felt him, he came to me during my worst moment. I think it's always interesting that Judas was close enough to kiss him and it wouldn't be considered strange, and that Jesus called him friend AFTER the betrayal. Anyone of us could be Judas at some point in our walk, even when we appear very close to Christ. It is important to note however even knowing us better than we know ourselves in these times Christ still calls us friend, and does not pull away regardless of our betrayal. When we seek him, even with betrayal in our hearts, we will find him. Judas took his life out of guilt, but as far as I'm aware, nowhere does it say that Jesus condemned him or did not die for his sins. As he said "For those who are in Christ are only condemned if they condemn themselves". Whatever your guilt, your wasted potential (supposedly), or sinful decision. Christ already knew and called you friend, and offered you salvation and friendship then, and he does now and always will. He's the same today as he was yesterday. He is faithful when we're not.

As a non christian person (or religues person) this is a verry intesting qoute. Jesus who has believed, loved and acepted god has to go tru a long and hard punismend and cries out for god jet god does not anwser and jesus spirit gives in and his eyes close for a last time. Its sad in a beautiful way.
When he said “My god, my god, why have you forsaken me”. It wasn’t him losing faith, actually quiet the opposite. He was quoting a famous play/writing of the time about keeping faith, I was confused when I first heard this, I thought it was coming from a place of despair and pain. In reality even in his pain, he was faithful. I’m new to this and not one to force things on others, but his effects are real, he is real. I’ve felt him, he came to me during my worst moment. He’s here brother, you just have to accept him into your life 🙏.
Judas Betrayed Jesus for a few denarii. We betray Jesus everyday for even less. They day he was Crucified the world died and the Lord gave us another choice. A choice to follow and spread the word of God. We are in dark times.

I think it's always interesting that Judas was close enough to kiss him and it wouldn't be considered strange, and that Jesus called him friend AFTER the betrayal. Anyone of us could be Judas at some point in our walk, even when we appear very close to Christ. It is important to note however even knowing us better than we know ourselves in these times Christ still calls us friend, and does not pull away regardless of our betrayal. When we seek him, even with betrayal in our hearts, we will find him.
Judas took his life out of guilt, but as far as I'm aware, nowhere does it say that Jesus condemned him or did not die for his sins. As he said "For those who are in Christ are only condemned if they condemn themselves". Whatever your guilt, your wasted potential (supposedly), or sinful decision. Christ already knew and called you friend, and offered you salvation and friendship then, and he does now and always will. He's the same today as he was yesterday. He is faithful when we're not.
