Everyone had the same input in Granite Getaway but the game decided that Waluigi won.
He rigged the system
yet in the gcn version, if everyone is hit the game ends in a tie.
Considering Daisy and Wario tied and they were the two in the middle, I assume this boulder has a weird hitbox. Which wouldn’t matter in normal gameplay but it makes it awkward in this case

Granite Getaway in the original was kinda like that actually. Everyone won if everyone reached the end, tie and no coins if no one did

Can I just say that I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't bother to give the characters new tie animations? They DID go the extra mile and give them new winning and losing animations, after all...
Like the ones at 3:38. Couldn't they have just used those?
Kinda sucks they don't have special music for collecting 0 coins in coin minigames like 1-8 had, Super Mario Party even had unused themes for that
I mean why go through the trouble? What are the odds of there ever being a tie unless you're doing it deliberately? 😅
