It actually looks to me like for some reason one of the yoshi got an extra brick, so the others got three in the same place, but there was an extra for the last yoshi, that happens again to the others which is what leads to them falling out of sync
They really should set a rule for where the bricks should drop in, so you can say the game isn't random at all when comparing between players, since everything randomised is pre-determined. I think the bricks should drop in the column with the least blocks, and if multiple have the same amount, it should be the one furthest to the left, and only allowed to drop 1 brick block per column per drop. That would avoid it getting out of sync.
"That's so weird. That's so weird". I literally laughed at this part. Like how is it weird if you want them to tie? That would be even weirder if you failed a tie.

Rockin raceway seems to randomize it when you all reach the end, if you look at them crossing the line before the replay, they’re all in sync and all perfectly aligned, but the replay gives them slight variations, so I think it’s safe to assume they randomize who wins if it’s a tie
I'm guessing there's probably always a delay but the horse race is so incredibly precise due to slow movement and and careful watching that it has no leeway for ties.
11:25 This is because as the game checks the left side buttons before checking the right side buttons, so the right side buttons override theresult, which means the right side buttons dictate the direction the bobombs will go
My assumption is that buttons are much simpler to sync up than analog inputs For a button, there's only 2 states: pressed or not pressed. Whatever is syncing the controller is guaranteed to have a slight delay, regardless of how it's handling it (if it's software on your PC emulating a Switch controller, for example, then there's guaranteed to be desync. If it's single threaded, then it can only have 1 player controlled at a time, so if it updates a player every 1/100th of a millisecond, that would mean there can be around 3/100th of a millisecond of delay from one character to the next. If it's multi threaded, then there's no way for the software to track when each player has accepted an input, as it's never going to be exactly the same time discrepancy between them), however these will always happen at roughly the same time (however it is perceptible to the Switch, which would explain red getting destroyed by blue in the Bob-Omb minigame, but it's close enough together that it wouldn't really matter for something like the Poker minigame, which isn't measured faster than milliseconds anyways) Analog, however, is much more complicated. It could be pointing in any direction, and at any intensity. One update for player 1 could have the left stick pointed forward 10 degrees, and then an update for player 2 at roughly the same time could have the left stick pointed forward 12 degrees
Ignore the people who say you are too loud or yell too much. Well that may be true but if that is what you like then do it! Don’t let haters bring you down 🎉
It's funny how people keep thinking that we're "haters." The ones who keep telling him to chill out are trying to help him make better content, not bring him down.
I hate the fact that some people are not liking his content for his energetic attitude and behavior and causing a war when someone says “to me you should just be like not mean and uf noth8ng nice to say dont say it” or “turn your volume down or just don’t watch”
For the mecha marathon, there's probably variation in the animation to make any close finishes seem more dynamic and hyped, but in the background in the hard coding the numbers are already decided and the game already knows the winners based on the input. It's just a matter of presenting the winners in an exciting fashion for the audience/player
For me, by far the most interesting thing was the clear bias for the single player in tug of war. But also the other smaller biases: The left car always winning rocky road, the same as player two winning spin doctor; the player(s) on the inside of the rope / the outside of the clock having more time to jump and even smaller Player 1 always sticking his head out for the montys when on the same spot. Did I miss any?

I would actually like to see a competition between all the yoshis on the same controller but only doing the challenges that always have variable endings for the placements to see who actually ends up winning the most in the end
Awesome video! On Tug of War I think it depends on what side you’re on to determine which way you have to spin. I’ve lost so many games bc I didn’t figure it out until it was too late 💀
the yoshi bowser winning, even if all characters were synced to the exact range controller, may just be a prime example of "port priority". Just like in smash bros, if everyone does the same input at the exact sane time, the player higher port (the person whose position is closest to player 1 position) will have priority.
Fun fact: the reason it’s different is because: the game is coded to say that everyone tied with 0 points, but it’s not programmed for everyone to win, because it’s coded for tied wins that’s why it will say everyone won, however, the one I play is Mario Party 9, so when there’s is a tie, even if everyone wins, that would just make everyone roll a dice for an automatic place
So not sure if you knew this but the opposing side in tug of war has to control the stick in the opposite direction as the Bowser player. This is coming from someone who's been playing games for over 15 years, starting with the N64 at age 4, to the Switch Superstars Mario Party at age 20. Time really rolls by when you think about it, so many fun days.
Whoa, I can't believe that, that's great to know, thanks so much for letting me know! I'll have to set the other 3 character's joysticks to the opposite direction and test out if there's a stalemate, thanks so much for letting me know that!

After watching this, this leads me to believe that despite the *RANDOM* spawn placement of certain obstacles in the race minigames, it woukd seem that they're cleverly placed to give an equal chance for EVERY PLAYER. THIS IS FURTHER CONFIRMED when the yoshis were seeking away from the cheep cheep boy the mines seemed to spawn at random distances, they can still ALL BE DODGED if the dodge button is pressed at the exact same proper moment!
I'm not interested in Mario all that much. Or this video concept. But the way you talk about it, and your energy just makes me want to watch this video till the end. If teachers talked like you did I'm sure people would pay attention more lol. Good video!
"Why would I watch a 50 minutes video of a random guy playing with 4 yoshis at the same time?" - me before watching a 50 minutes video of a guy playing with 4 yoshis at the same time. great content I should say.
People who are getting too annoyed about how loud or excited this guys is have clearly never watched a large amount of Jackscepticeye who is very loud and excited about everything
Jack is worse than this guy honestly. Not just for being loud though, since he calmed down a significant amount. compared to how he used to be. I'm not going to go into what the other thing is, because I don't want to get into a big back and forth war about it.
For rocking raceway, you can pause the video at several points before the yoshis cross the line, and they’re fully in sync, but on the zoom in, they’re in totally uneven positions. Maybe theres an RNG element for photo finishes
17:15 the reason why that happens is if the yoshis have the same inputs but not the same track, some have a shorter and some have a longer one but if not, then some have a slight small MILLISECOND of delay and they go a BITT late
With the face lift minigame, will centering all the cursors at one of the corners first yield a more even result? Also with the mpiq block puzzle game, The garbage blocks that are thrown in when combos are made are thrown in random columns so it disrupts some and sets others up for bigger payoffs.
17:23 Non-determinism in the processor. Inputs may be exactly the same, but character classes are reading analog input at slightly different times. 49:30 - The brick tiles are randomized, colors are the same between yoshi's
People over here complaining or mentioning his energy meanwhile im over here wishing i had this energy and ability to talk loud all the time like this channel

Rockin raceway seems to randomize it when you all reach the end, if you look at them crossing the line before the replay, they’re all in sync and all perfectly aligned, but the replay gives them slight variations, so I think it’s safe to assume they randomize who wins if it’s a tie
The comments made me think you'd be annoying, but they really could not be more wrong. Your high energy is fun, keep it up ♡
Thanks so much for checking it out, I appreciate it!
Don't encourage him, it makes him want to be *more* annoying!
Idk why but this is so satisfying!!
I love your energy in this vid. What a fun concept! Definitely gonna check out your other content
Thanks so much! Really hope you enjoy the videos! 🙏
“Look how grouped togethor we are!”
*immediately gets bombarded by penguins separating them*
I'm guessing there's probably always a delay but the horse race is so incredibly precise due to slow movement and and careful watching that it has no leeway for ties.
Perhaps... or perhaps that it is always unfairly figuratively rigged in favour of a particular or random player. 🤷♂️
watching on mute is the optimal experience

plot twist: there's 4 people controlling the characters on 4 different controllers they're just perfectly in-sync
how....
11:25
This is because as the game checks the left side buttons before checking the right side buttons, so the right side buttons override theresult, which means the right side buttons dictate the direction the bobombs will go
18:25 This is like collecting 3 double cherrys in Mario 3D world lol
My assumption is that buttons are much simpler to sync up than analog inputs
For a button, there's only 2 states: pressed or not pressed. If it's multi threaded, then there's no way for the software to track when each player has accepted an input, as it's never going to be exactly the same time discrepancy between them), however these will always happen at roughly the same time (however it is perceptible to the Switch, which would explain red getting destroyed by blue in the Bob-Omb minigame, but it's close enough together that it wouldn't really matter for something like the Poker minigame, which isn't measured faster than milliseconds anyways)
Analog, however, is much more complicated. It could be pointing in any direction, and at any intensity. One update for player 1 could have the left stick pointed forward 10 degrees, and then an update for player 2 at roughly the same time could have the left stick pointed forward 12 degrees
2:30 I love the expression on their face
Ignore the people who say you are too loud or yell too much. Well that may be true but if that is what you like then do it! Don’t let haters bring you down 🎉
It's funny how people keep thinking that we're "haters." The ones who keep telling him to chill out are trying to help him make better content, not bring him down.
6:00 you can clearly tell he’s having so much fun with this!
This is so funny great job on the video zxmany love the Yoshis keep up the great work on the vids
This guy sounds way too happy at everything happening :D
What I get from this:
Skill Games everyone can win.
Fun/Party/RNG based games, someone has to lose/everyone ties ideally.

This is what childhood curiosity is. Thank you!
For the mecha marathon, there's probably variation in the animation to make any close finishes seem more dynamic and hyped, but in the background in the hard coding the numbers are already decided and the game already knows the winners based on the input. It's just a matter of presenting the winners in an exciting fashion for the audience/player
This just in, every character doing the same action will result in the same outcome!
For some minigames! 👍 I was really surprised at the randomness of some minigames when all characters are controlled together!

I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. 6:31 Yoshi shadowboxing
I would actually like to see a competition between all the yoshis on the same controller but only doing the challenges that always have variable endings for the placements to see who actually ends up winning the most in the end
6:25
They all die, but they all win. So beautiful.
Awesome video! On Tug of War I think it depends on what side you’re on to determine which way you have to spin. I’ve lost so many games bc I didn’t figure it out until it was too late 💀
He needs a setup where the controls are reversed for some players
Something that ZXMany failed to notice, there was a 3 way tie for second place on track 3, at 20:45
Whoa, great catch, that's really cool, super surprised I didn't notice that one! You're the first person that mentioned that, good eye!
That’s it. I’m subbing
Hope you enjoy the videos!
@@ZXMany thank you! I’m sure I will :)
the yoshi bowser winning, even if all characters were synced to the exact range controller, may just be a prime example of "port priority".
If you think it’s the cutest thing ever!🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
⬇️
So not sure if you knew this but the opposing side in tug of war has to control the stick in the opposite direction as the Bowser player. This is coming from someone who's been playing games for over 15 years, starting with the N64 at age 4, to the Switch Superstars Mario Party at age 20. Time really rolls by when you think about it, so many fun days.
Whoa, I can't believe that, that's great to know, thanks so much for letting me know! I'll have to set the other 3 character's joysticks to the opposite direction and test out if there's a stalemate, thanks so much for letting me know that!
@@ZXMany did it end up a tie?

hi zxmany im one of your biggest fan, you make the best videos and you are so cool. love your videos man. make more and im all ready sub, and your VERY FUNNY have fun playing more and please do a heart on this comment love your vids from geula friedman thats my name bye have fun
This feels like an alt.
Good video!
i think ur going insane man. the absolute worst part of the video is the guy overreacting. or u could be a little kid lol
Finally, a balanced multiplayer game
"Why would I watch a 50 minutes video of a random guy playing with 4 yoshis at the same time?"
- me before watching a 50 minutes video of a guy playing with 4 yoshis at the same time. great content I should say.
Bro, your the best! Keep up the good work!
This is so cool 😎😎😎😎😎❤❤❤❤❤
People who are getting too annoyed about how loud or excited this guys is have clearly never watched a large amount of Jackscepticeye who is very loud and excited about everything
Jack is worse than this guy honestly. Not just for being loud though, since he calmed down a significant amount. compared to how he used to be. I'm not going to go into what the other thing is, because I don't want to get into a big back and forth war about it.
The narration at 33:00 broke my friggin brain.
For rocking raceway, you can pause the video at several points before the yoshis cross the line, and they’re fully in sync, but on the zoom in, they’re in totally uneven positions. Maybe theres an RNG element for photo finishes
17:15
the reason why that happens is if the yoshis have the same inputs but not the same track, some have a shorter and some have a longer one
but if not, then some have a slight small MILLISECOND of delay and they go a BITT late
Why tf is everyone complaining about his energy. If you don't like the video then don't watch it, you don't need to go around spreading negativity.
With the face lift minigame, will centering all the cursors at one of the corners first yield a more even result? Also with the mpiq block puzzle game, The garbage blocks that are thrown in when combos are made are thrown in random columns so it disrupts some and sets others up for bigger payoffs.
This video would be so much better being no commentary
I would have watched this if there wasn’t SO much artificial UA-cam energy
@@Skulldrey That's so weird!
"Awe, man, i thought yoshi would win, but it was actually yoshi that won." lol and "i can't believe i lost when i won." parts 10/10..×4
17:23 Non-determinism in the processor. Inputs may be exactly the same, but character classes are reading analog input at slightly different times.
49:30 - The brick tiles are randomized, colors are the same between yoshi's
1:05 looks like something I can’t say
7:30 Red won because *RED GOES FASTA!*
