    This officer was an angel! When I first crossed into the US from Canada, they (CBP) were vicious. If you encountered an officer like I did then you would 100 percent be denied entry. You can't just say that you're living in the US.

    • @Travelocracy
      @Travelocracy  Рік тому

      Hey thanks for watching the video. Yes you are right the officer was a good human being. The thing is that they cannot deny your entry if you have a valid i94. As per rules if you are in tourist visa and already entered united states. In your i94 period if you visit Canada or Mexico with 30 days span nobody can stop you as you never exited from United States. You can face denial or deportation if you try like after completing your i94 you made an exit to Canada and wishing to come back US very soon to get a new i94 then you are in trouble. Also they check your past records, in our case we are a regular tourist to states from past 8 years. Our record is good and we only come for vacations not for living. In the video I never said I am living 😀

    • @Ash-ji7bq
      @Ash-ji7bq Рік тому +2

      @@Travelocracy I agree with the part where you said that they can see your previous records. But they can certainly deny you entry even with a valid i-94. Automatic visa revalidation is a real thing but CBP can do anything they want with visitors. Whether they'll do it or not is another but you gotta remember that we don't have any right whatsoever to enter the US. None, nada.

    I see you've crossed at my favourite crossing and interstate, I-81. I-87 Northway (North of Albany NY) is more scenic and direct for me out of Montreal but suffers from congestion everywhere as you cross into Jersey at the state line I don't see why anyone starting from east of Toronto and going south out of Toronto would go to Niagara/Buffalo. Only to go more west on I-90 to Erie, PA to pick up I-79 South, even if they are heading south to Tampa FL. The Buffalo area is a mess with all the trucks moving to I-90 going south and west. I would hazard a guess that you took I-81 to Scranton PA and then I-380 to I- 80 to New Jersey.
    I have driven parts most of I-81 in different segments on different occasions (including the I-481 beltway around Syracuse). The only segments I haven't driven is from Harrisburg PA to Front Royal VA and from Bristol VA to the Termination at Knoxville TN. If you're heading to Eastern FL (Including Orlando)you would take I-77 southwest of Roanoke VA to Charlotte NC and then picking up I-26 at Columbia SC to I-95 the rest of the way.
    The Thousands Islands Bridge complex is actually six bridges spanning five islands even though there is access to only two islands andthe Canadian bridge seems like on continuous bridge, One suspension, one truss and two arch bridges. There is a short bridge between the two customs complexes and the Canadian and American islands of Hill and Wellsley Islands respectively. So Canada has 4 1/2 bridges while the US has 1 1/2.

      Hey, Thanks for watching the video. If you are doing a fresh entry to the US via any port, by road or air, or water, the process is the same as fingerprint and all other formalities. In our case, we were already entered US a few months ago via air, and inbetween we have visited Canada. So we were having a valid i94 in our passports. That's the reason there were no other formalities. Hope I have answered your question.

    • @Travelocracy
      @Travelocracy  Рік тому

      Hi, Thanks for watching the video! Yes you are right. If you enter USA in B1/B2 you can stay up to six months. What we have explained in the video is, as you are in USA and in between the six months you can visit Canada for 30 days without officially exiting from USA Immigration. No stamps, No exit on your passport. You are visiting Canada as a tourist of USA. You will not be officially immigrated to Canada as a tourist.
      Switching the countries for six-six months is not advised. You will land in trouble and will be deported and banned. It is better advised to get a immigrant visa if you wish to stay in any of these countries.
      Hope we have answered all your queries.
      Please let us know if you still have any questions. Thanks
