There is a stark difference in Indians thinking on why poeple move out of India.
As a south Indian, I see a lot of future and developement here. But 30% of my mind still says, get out of the country.
But when it comes to Northern parts of the country (Gujarat, Rajasthan, Bihar and UP) they are far behind even to the two-tier cities of the south.
To summarize Southerners will tell India is good but Northerners will tell India is poor. Both are equally true. And world growing this fast, am sure that India is surely falling behind all the super powers(North and South).

bro not everything is about economy , in india do you get proper return on taxes you pay, do you get anything without having to pay bribe in most situations, what about sanitation, corruption, bad roads and infra exception is national highway which is good and metro which is taking decades to complete , buying properties you dont know wheather it is genuine or not and it is risky to buy plots if you are not living near to it, pollition in cities , over crowded places, lack of dignity of labour , poor salary except people working in A level govt employee and IT people

Sad to say its true here in hyderabad aslo there is a thinking that if you want to be successful and want your dream girl you should have a connection with foreign countries then you will consider as successful and happy person
In front of me i saw there was 2 man one from gulf another from india the Indian guy earn 150k compare to foreign who earn 80k the chances of getting marriage proposal is higer for foreign guy here people see where he works rahter that what he works the thinking of people here is that you, will,be successful only when you work in,any, foreign country 12:06

Yes, this right that immigration in Canada is easy, but quality of life is poor.
Canada is more socialist, they believe in free bees to appease vote bank.
For a blue color job or low income worker Canada is better option.
But for highly salaried jobs, specifically in Tec Sector -
    1. Federal and state are extremely high. You don’t feel motivated to earn more, plus less opportunities for highly paid jobs.
    2. Even when state tax is high, sales tax is not relaxed, they are at higher end ( exception is Alberta)
    3. House prices are three times more of what you pay in US. 1million mortgage is very common for a semi detached or townhouse in GTA
    4. Car insurance is 200% - 300 % more what you pay in US. 5. Groceries are 30% expensive than in US.
    6. Not much variety in shopping stores, and you pay US prices converted in Canadians dollars.
    7. This is my personal experience, ppl from Pakistan and Khalistani supporters are very much active against India. Current party in government NDP supports Khalistan from back channels. Over period of time Canada has become Anti India

Healthcare in Canada is not free, it 's paid with your taxes and it really sucks. Many people die in emergency room waiting for a doctor. I you need to see a specialist the waiting times can be up to 6 months to get an appointment . Plus income tax in Canada might reach almost 50% of whatever you make monthly depending the province so people are running away from canada

If you have 50 lakhs to spend then why would you attempt an illegal crossing with 70% chance of capture or death? A smart Indian will simply buy a Residency Visa in Ecuador for $27,000 and then attempt to work and earn enough money to gain citizenship after 1 year. Once you have Ecuador citizenship, then you can work anywhere in South America and even work for US MNC as a remote worker. Much higher chance of success.

Hell no! I will be planning to go back to my hometown Bangalore, India at some point.
People in the above video are literally planning to migrate to united states/canada forever illegally and I'm just saying it's not worth it. Because if you earn in the states and spend in the states then your situation is more or less the same as in India. But if you earn in the states and spend in India, only then it makes a big difference.
For example if you come here illegally and work in stores for an average $30,000/year. Then you are literally living paycheck to paycheck. You can't buy a house here for that amount.. out of the $2500/month, all of it will go into rent and living.. you will live a very poor life over here and it's not worth it.. same as how you would have lived your life in India but legally atleast

People get too hopeless with their lives before getting to the level of desperation that they attempt these journeys. The human traffickers thrive on their desperation. The tell these desperate people stories which are lies. Human traffickers abandon the migrants right before the riskiest part of their journey and couldn't care less if the migrants live or die.

In my opinion, we can afford a better lifestyle in India. My husband lived in the US for 8 years, I lived there for 3 years, we decided to cancel our Green card program and returned to India, because, come on, in India, we can have our children go to top private schools, we can hire a driver, cook, nanny, cleaner, gardener. You name a kind of help. One can wear colorful outfits without having to look like a clown. In India, my friends, relatives or neighbors come home unannounced for chai or dinner and vice versa. And all these in a single income household. We can celebrate festivities, do havan or smoke baigan at home without fearing fire alarm creating panic in the entire neighbourhood. Why should we live in in any other country, when India offers us all these and much more.

Few things as a person who lived for a decade in US and then moved to Canada:
    1. Canada healthcare is not free, but paid by taxpayers. Also, insurance needs you to be on some status. Students/visitors or illegal immigrants cannot have access to provincial healthcare.
    2. Canadians being friendliest country is a myth. The English speaking area people are more or less same as US. French areas are even worse, where you feel subtle racism. Even if you are Permanent resident or Canadian citizen, its difficult to find job there unless you can speak french. And even if you know french, they prefer ethnicity.
    3. Crime is very high in places like Vaucuover and Toronto. And these are the only few cities you have to live in Canada for tech jobs. In US, if you hate Bay area or NYC due to mortgage, there are much cheaper tech hubs in Texas, Virginia, NC, Georgia, WA. But no such options in Canada.

    • @sanjayarora4769

@Virgil EXCLUSIVE Thank you for proving my point. And is Canada your country? Remember how your ancestors came to North America loaded in ships? And stole the native land?

@Virgil EXCLUSIVE I don't live in Quebec. I do tech job, not customer facing job. French is not a pre-requisite there.
In India, people work in different states where official languages are different. But the only requirement is to know English.
I can live wherever I want. I cracked a 170,000 CAD job sitting at my home in India by giving a 7 hour interview. This puts me top 1 or 2 % taxpayers in your country. Your country gave me PR. So, your country needs taxpayers. And don't worry, next year I will either move to US or India.

I share grief with Patel family.
Yes, it's true that America is a great country. All we hear about greatness is of
well educated folks and their success, but education aside , any commoner with English
or even without a word of English will find some work at least, this is the greatness
of America. I'm stunned watching this video where Patel family froze to death.
Whoever wants to travel America, do it in summer and never any other time, and even in summer have plenty of warm clothes with you.
As far as coming to America or even Canada, don't be fooled by anyone, America has
changed. Taking risks smuggling thru, it ain't worth it.
Indians nowadays have foot long cell phones, and not much worthy to tell but they use
American toilet seats, meaning India is America rightnow.
    Love and well wishes all.

How about " BLOOM WHERE YOU WERE PLANTED ". Don't complain & critize & clean up your home countries. Problem is nobody wants to stand up anymore to corruption in their original countries but complain about other countries.
