Hi! Congrats for the channel! At which point do you decide to house them indoors? I read gouldians are quite sensitive to cold. And roughly how many months of the year do they spend in the outdoor aviary? I’m from northern Spain, where I believe the weather is similar to the Netherlands but with a little less rain.

If it drops below 8-10 for a couple of in a row than I move the most sensitive species inside. It depends some years it stays cold very long other years it is starting to get cold very early.

Can you winter the birds outside?
I mean if you had an indoor part to your aviary that was heated?

The coldest I've ever experienced in my country is - 6 degrees celcius.
Is that OK for year round outside??

every temp below 10 degrees celcius is cold for such a tropical bird. every temp below 5 is too cold. They can survive a day or so but multiple days below 5 degrees celcius is too stressful for the birds.

My zebra bird just get babies and babies I have to take nests out they r in a aviary with just a canary and quails
