Every things she sings comes out beautifully. One of the things I admire in British artists is their willingness to follow where the muse leads and Excell across multiple genres. Too many American artists end up pigeonholed in a single style.

That's what Classical Crossover singers do. They sing a popular song like this with their operatic-sounding voices and orchestral accompaniment. I think it turns people on to the Classical sound who don't like opera but do like popular songs. Tarja Turunen is another example of a Classical voice singing popular music. Jackie Evancho is another Classical singer. I much prefer listening to this. Katherine has a beautiful voice and she sounds wonderful singing popular music.

I don't know where she came from but her trills, power, and clarity are a knock out. The ending in English is stunning.

As modern popera stars, such as Hayley Westenra, and Katherine Jenkins, are recognised by increasingly larger numbers of people for their talent, some old style opera singers and fans may feel frustrated, but can't stop progress. It's evolution and the way of the future.
One of my many favorites from Katherine. We can hear the sheer strength of her voice when at end she hold that note. Every time I play the CD or watch this video; it gives me chills just to hear that great gift. God Bless Sweetheart.

One of the the most awe-inspiring performaces I have ever have ever seen by ANY artist! Katherine's incomprehensible combination of sheer beauty and heavenly voice can virtually move mountains. No words for this performance. What a beautiful switch to the cliffside and her red dress then back to the orchestra. She has never sounded better, and her performance in the tennis stadium was awesome as well.

I like the effect of the short instrumental interlude, then the visual of the white cliffs of Dover, and
suddenly her voice cuts in with surprising dramatic effect, a counter point as I experience it, and
this has a thrilling emotional reaction from within. Similar to figure skating when a particularly
difficult jump is contrasted with a pregnant pause in the music, producing a breathtaking counter point.
I suppose it's the unexpected technique that delivers the grace of exhilaration. They all nailed it here.

A masterpiece of music and art. Here you have Katherine Jenkins, a beautiful woman with the voice of an angel, putting her heart and soul into her music while standing in the green grasses on top of the White Cliffs of Dover with the sea flowing at the bottom of the cliffs. And then it shifts to Katherine standing on a stage in a magnificent theater before an orchestra that plays beautifully in coordination with her voice. This composition is so creative and so inspirational. It sends chills down my spine.

I've always loved this song and what I like more this time is when she finished the song in English "You know it's true ............with her creamy voice, I just got a goose-bump. Not only she has a beautiful voice, she is the most beautiful singer. Hard to find such combination ! When I watch her singing, it's almost like an angel singing to me !

Allan Tse Yes, she is amazing, I totally agree even though I do not know the language. It is hard to have a combination of a beautiful singer with a beautiful voice, on top of it is the ability to express the emotion naturally and fluently. However, it is rare but possible, hear the voice of our Hayley Westenra! She is the trump card of New Zealand singers.
