Honestly even if you don't care for REM this is just a really fun and stirring song that was as "nostalgic" sounding the day it came out as it is today. It feels like a kind of celebration of sumer afternoon radio and lost after school autumn MTV vegetating. The fact that it's about something insane and violent and somewhat humourous but also sad is just icing on the cake. I am also, like Butthead, a metal enthusiast, by the way. But if this song comes on the radio I don't turn it off either.
This song is actually my 3rd fave from R.E.M.(behind "Orange Crush" & "Pop Song '89"). W/that said; I used 2 twist the lyrics & title of this song.I called it "Where's Your Hair, Michael Stipe?"
Considering Beavis and Butthead episodes often had several different sets of music videos shown (same episode but up to 3 different sets of videos) did Mike Judge write their reactions to specific bands/songs or do some generic "this rocks!"/"this sucks" responses and let MTV decide what the actual music video would be? There are times when the boys are obviously commenting on the actual video being shown, e.g. I remember one where the singer is pulling a strained face and they say "he's taking a dump" - which obviously wouldn't work if a different music video was swapped-in. So some of them must've been specific, but others maybe not?
Butthead twerks better than most chicks
butthead becomes femboy later
First twerker in human history
@@ozcozfozc You're thinking of Stewart. Huh-huh...what a wuss.
probably because it looks like they are trying to shake a turd loose from their ass. Twerking is some TNB
