i have been learning russian on you tube.. many words phrases.. watching russian documentaries is important.. I have subscribed with russian with max.. I have to constantly listen to the language just like a child does!! Russian is good for the mind and will make you smarter..
I'am native Russian and lerning English about two years and I'am thought that is not real for me to become a fluent. I spend more time for studiing about 5 hours and more a day. I'am alse use the app Duolingo and my opinion it is not the best way for lerning language. Please if you native English, and you reading my comment, please correct my sentences that I'am wrote higher in correct way. Thank you dear friend )

В Нью-Йорке не достаточно русскоговорящих? Может в штате, но в городе. Просто на Брайтон бич поедь и все. Там большинство на английском языке тебе ничего не скажет. А так красава! Я бы не смог бы даже начать изучать рус если его не знал с детства. Всегда восхищаюсь иностранцами которые учат русский язык! Незабывай склонять слова в предложении так ты будешь звучать как носитель языка! Падежи наверное самая сложная фигня!
Да вы правы. Брайтон-Бич - отличное место для общения с русскоязычными. К сожалению, в моем изолированном городе их не так много. Вот почему я планирую скоро переехать в Бруклин.
@@InstantTravels28 There also is a strong community of Russian Speakers near Jordanville New York near Utica. There is a Russian Orthodox Monastery there and most of the people who attend speak Russian. Try visiting if you are close, especially on a Sunday.
