I want to see Lucas vs Rosey in this game
I’ll set it up
Good god yes!!!!
@@pudge5614 also, let’s get Jeff passan back on here
Yes yes yes yes
And Max
People forget that DiMaggio was already a star with the Yankees when Lou Gehrig called himself “the luckiest man on the face of the earth”
Not only was there craning, but there was also shifting in the seat.
This has quickly become my favorite game to watch on the channel (followed closely by scattergories). I commented this on the first one, but I'll say it again - I love that viewers could play along easily. With other games each contestant's answers affect everyone else's score so playing along doesn't really work.
Suggestion for future episodes (or maybe just to try for one episode and see how it goes) - Give a -1 point bonus for getting the second question of each round on the button, and a -2 or -3 point bonus for the last from each round. Or maybe just the last round, as a -2. It would add a bit of suspense as being off by just one point could mean a three point swing.
I got this idea because BBD nailed a whole bunch of tough ones and it felt like he deserved more credit for it.
-1 for Medium and -3 for Hard would be pretty great I think
Moyer pitched from 1986 - 2012. Insane.
Wait, what?
I almost got in a fight with him in a supermarket in Philly because I was zooming down the aisle with a cart and his daughter very suddenly swung from the back to the side of the cart. Thankfully i didn't hit her but it was closeeeee. He started to come at me but as soon as I recognized him he sheepishly walked off presumably because he suddenly saw the TMZ headlines in his brain. 😆
@@gjsharpefrom age 23 to 49. Lol
@@TuckerBrennanNJBro why are you going that fast with a cart that you are nearly unable to stop it in time not to hit someone unexpectedly. That's crazy behavior lol 😭
When i saw Torii Hunter and Barry Bonds on the All-star lineup I immediately said 2002. Still remember Hunter robbing Bonds of a home run then Bonds picking up Hunter
8:10 Bill Buckner gets dragged through the mud, but the Red Sox are not in the World Series without Bill Buckner’s bat. His knee and foot problems were well known at the time and they felt they needed his bat more than his glove.
And some people also forget that his error was in game 6. They still had a shot to win it in spite of the error
After his career with the Doors, Jim Morrison perused a baseball career with the Pittsburgh Pirates😱
My same thought lmaooooooo
Rafael Belliard spoken on my screen in 2025, love it.
16:00, I literally screamed "Oh my God!" because I just watched (what was available of) this series on UA-cam last week. Can't believe it!
I like this game a LOT because it's willing to stretch before 2000. Great stuff. More please! 2 total points here.
Medium lineup game has the fun fact of being the first ever World Series game to end with a walk-off home run, which is how I knew its year.
2?!? nice!!!
It's so refreshing to watch a JM video that doesn't have an ad read 😌
Are you against, people making money?... You do know that's the only reason they get to keep making videos, and specifically videos that aren't just Yankees podcasts and breakdowns
From Chicago, loved the final roster question. Knew Moreland was done by like 88. Knew Palmeiro came up in like 87ish. Between the 2, just guessed wrong which year Ryno and Dunston got hurt
Ryno still played 132 games that year and won a gold glove. It is weird to pick a lineup from that year that didn't include him.
1975 was a WILD guess for interleague
BBDs giggle is the best thing from Jomboy Media 😂
I need more of these and 21 Questions
The 1941 season saw some of the greatest accomplishments in the history of the game. Dom DiMaggio, Ted Williams' teammate with the Red Sox and Joe DiMaggio's youngest brother, wrote a wonderful book about that season called “Real Grass, Real Heroes: Baseball's Historic 1941 Season.”
Jolly got the DH rule and Interleague mixed up didn't he
Liked the extra round addition. Also definitely gotta get Rosey on this!
Still crossing my fingers for an audio "famous calls" round...
That would be cool but I feel like it would be really tough to come up with them consistently for the harder questions in each round, unless they go for radio calls of famous moments even if the call itself isn't well known.
@@daveg8266Yeah I think it would just be good for a bonus round
A baseball card round of this would go hard
The lineups idea could be fun if there weren’t teams names listed at the top. Especially for the World Series one. Make it harder to ballpark when there’s guys in the lineups who bounced around
8:27 love the George Santos impression
Love this series! Keep it up! I had my best score on this one - I was almost perfect, but waffled on the Wrigley Field question. For some reason I was between the right answer and three years earlier. Went three years earlier.
Jolly thinking inter league play began in the 70s 😮
👀 👀 👀
Wow! I got a 2.
I guessed 1908 for the Cobb-Wagner photo, and 2003 for the All-Star game lineup. All others I got spot-on/lucked into the right year.
Being a Giants fan helped with a few of the questions. I was at the Bonds 756 game, knew McCovey's rookie year, and the regular season lineup had Rick Reuschel before he joined the Giants later in that same 1987 season.
Jesus Jamie Moyer was immortal
That DiMaggio round was painful.
Great game to play along at home! Got 51 which I’m pretty proud of. Lots of fun
Great game! Keep the history coming! I scored 18. I was glad I was able to nail the Pirates-Tigers World Series.
Biggest hint re:the 2002 ASG, at least for those who saw it, is Hunter starting for the AL. That was the year he famously robbed Bonds of a homer en route to an extra-inning tie game.
Shoutout to anyone that knows the Wrigley answer thanks to Mike Ehrmantraut
The Giant P and The Giant D were their nicknames, right???
I also thought DiMaggio was the year that BBD and Jake said, so maybe a Mandela effect thing happening. Love this game.
Fun fact. Rick Reuschel is my former bosses brother. It’s a very fun baseball reference to look at and should’ve been a serious hall of fame contender.
10:42 LCS started in 1969, they had only east and west divisions til 1994 which also started the LDS permanently. 1981 strike shortened season had expanded playoffs in which two teams who probably shouldn’t have been in the playoffs made it and the Dodgers beat the Yankees.
i love 4pm est
“The giant D”- Lucas 2025
Bob Allison being on the front page of Baseball Reference today is crazy
About time we get some BBD!
Oh I love this game! Possibly my favorite game on JM Baseball! Of course it might be because I do pretty well at it (I got another 0 even with the surprise fourth round, which makes my total through all four episodes a 1). Keep it coming!
I still think players should get a score deduction for getting an answer right on the money.
5:10 that song is indeed out by now
There was SO MUCH craning!!!! Never seen that much craning from one neck
At the end, you say Paul Noche. And my name is Paul Nota. It really threw me for a loop.
I also got Awards: Hard right on the nose and I was just as shocked as the participants
I like the line-ups, but I think maybe they'd do better as the first round as there are a lot of clues in each line-up so even the hardest won't get a ton of swing.
Missed interleague by 4 years (1993), missed, missed the WS lineup by 2 (1951) missed the first Wrigley night game by 4 (1984), missed the Pirates-Cubs game by 3 (1990). Would have gotten an 11.
Let's go BBD!
"zonk famously short for keith" lmao
lmao i hit a homer against the nationals in mlb the show the exact second jolly talked about bonds setting the record against the nats
In 1956, Dimaggio was 42 and 5 years removed from baseball. Come on guys!
2:51 thats embarrassing
Does anybody else think BBD reminds them of Eeyore?
Love the lineup round. 👍
Lucas was doing great as the only one who had any sense of any history at all until he implied that 15 year old Marilyn Monroe was going after Joe DiMaggio in 1941 (they met for the first time in 1952).
I’m sorry, did the guy in the middle say “when he passed Ted Williams” on the Barry Bonds question? That’s an automatic DQ bro.
A moment of weakness for Jake... I caught that, too
pretty sure he was bullshitting
26 was my score, LOVE these videos.
2003 is an all time horrific guess
If I have to see the gladiator 2 UA-cam ad on this channel ONE MORE TIME TIME
How do you not know Bob Allison? Twins/Senators legend.
@zackaryhaselius2226 great NASCAR driver too
Jake with the Real World reference.
10:30 only knew this because I’m a rangers fan (first inter league game in mlb history) and it’s my birth year
screaming 1988 for the Wrigley field question because of Better Call Saul. Thanks, Mike.
I think the title was supposed to be “what year was the very deserved asterisk added to Bonds stat sheet?”
That’s last line up made me pop for sure I knew exactly when that was because rueschel was a giant by the end of the summer for they’re playoff push and Leon Durham was gone from Chicago after 87
I lasered in on Jim Sundberg because he only had one season in Chicago
Edit my apologies, he played an additional half season
I didn't get it dead on but my big hint was that Junior Ortiz was a Twin for the 1991 World Series so I knew it had to be late 80s
Exactly the same thing I recognized as well, beast of a trade deadline for the giants that year
I got 17. That looked more like an early 90’s Pittsburgh lineup and I went a little late on the WS.
Jake and I are the same age and I'm very upset with his DiMaggio miss.
Buckner was one play....Yankees`s collapse was an entire inning
BBD, loving the shirt! Where did you get it from?
The 4th round🤌🏽
The entire staff should be forced to watch Ken Burns baseball including the extra inning. These guys need to learn ball pre-2018 lol.
got 39, awards section got all perfect, don’t think i got a perfect outside of that
Jake, Brandon Crawford's uni is CREAM 😑
Y'all youngins need to get some Ken Burns Baseball in your lives.
Guy in the middle could be mad dog chris russos kid.
Great content as always, perhaps someone will teach Lucas to move the mic away from his mouth😂
I'm not gonna lie, them not knowing their baseball history, and especially yankee history is a little disappointing. DiMaggio was already retired for 5 years in 1956. 1941 was the year he had his 56 game hit streak....and the year Ted Williams finished with a .406 avg. Pretty big year in baseball history. Not to mention, the Yanks won the WS that year in their first match-up with the Dodgers
Always interesting to see how many Schwabs there are in the comments claiming they scored a 3
I had a score of 2 after the first 2 full rounds. I was off on the DiMaggio picture by 1 (I guessed 1942) and I missed the Cobb/Wagner picture by 1 (I guessed 1910). Hopefully the 3rd round goes as smoothly as the first two😂
Edit: it did not. I missed the interleague question by 12 years, I guessed 1985😂. And then I guessed 1990 on the lights question. So I’m sitting at 16 total
On the bonus round, I was off by 2 on the all star (guessed 2004), was off by 1 on the WS Lineup (I guessed 1948), and then on the regular lineup, I guessed 1989 (off by 2) final score of 21
So doors front man Jim Morrison faked his own death to play for the pirates lol wow
I'm always really bad at these
20 second club
We want Rony!

The lack of baseball (and World War 2!) knowledge is depressing.
Would you say it’s a Great Depression?
@@timothyhernandez5649 I wouldn't. 😒
Easy 6 off medium 3 off hard 1 off. = 10
Mvp 0, CYY 0, Roy 4= 14
Easy 0, medium 0, hard 0 = 14
Bonus round
ASG 0, WS 1, RS 2= 17
🎂 😊😅

FINAL SCORE: 26
For the Bonds image I was thinking either 01, 02, or 07. That image is actually pretty hard to figure out and should've been the medium difficulty, with DiMaggio and the sign being easy difficulty.
24 was my total
Marilyn was 15 in 1941…
Passing Ted Williams?
I know ball! Got a 20! ⚾️🤓
16
My parents went to the first ever Interleague game. Go rangers
15 Pts...i fkn win!!
I just don’t get it. 1941 wasn’t known? Really?!
Jolly is the problem
Some embarrassingly bad guesses on the photos.
