The stock down pipe is why it sounds so good. When you go catless it gets raspy and high pitched. This sounds almost like a V8.
the b58 sounds so good when it's high pitched i don't know why

My friend just did a catless downpipes to his and it still kinda sounds like that, just pops are louder

@@jamilempinen1520 Catback usually just means the exhaust from the cat(s) back. For the most part i’d say if someone says that it means they have the stock cat(s) in.
Unless they say I have an awe catback and a CTS catted downpipe. Something like that listing another part to their exhaust.

Nope, as long as the stock downpipe is in you don’t “need” a tune on these cars.
