I have a 2016 LTZ which has more options. Examples are heated steering wheel, forward collision alert (both by the cruise controls), push button start, heated and cooled leather seats, CD player, 20" wheels, moonroof, LED lights at bottom which serve as the running lights, and a button by the license plate to pop the trunk open. These cars do drive and handle very well. I have had mine since 2019. Love it.
I think the Impala was a great deal. Spend a little bit of money that baby cleaned up. I think you'll be satisfied, especially with that mileage. It's fantastic great find Randy
If that impala doesn’t have much going wrong with it then that was a great deal. In 2016, the Taurus was a competitor to the impala since they’re both full size sedans. As for the check engine light, I bet it’s for an evap emissions purge valve. Chevys 3.6L V6 had purge valve issues for a few years but it’s cheap to fix.
Impala. Looks to be a pretty decent car. 305 hp in a 3800 pound car, so it’s no slouch. A good ride and decent handling. A good overall size. I bet these cars are better than than the overall perception is. Maybe a hidden gem on the used car market?
I have a 2018 Impala LT that I bought new . It will be 5 years in September and it has been a great vehicle. I do not know if I would call it a luxury car, the Cadillac XTS and Buick LaCrosse were more luxurious and are part of the triplets. Good luck with it. Mine has the push to start and auto start.
Hey Randy, You are one hell of a salesman! I say this because I doubt there’s anyone else in the world that could make me like an Impala! It’s a remarkably good looking family sedan and it seems to drive great. That’s a lot of car for $7K! Loving your new production schedule. I great a great deal of joy from your videos. Peace my friend, DrRick
I love the impala. I think you got a fantastic deal as I’m looking for a 2006-2013 or a 2014-2020 impala and they really aren’t cheap. I believe they are very nice and luxurious cars but by NO MEANS does that make them a luxury car. You should make a second part of the impala where it gets cleaned and we identify the engine light. Then that and the cop car could be your “mileage savers”
I agree. Chevy Impala, Ford Taurus, Buick LaCrosse, Toyota Avalon, Hyundai Azera, Kia Cadenza, Nissan Maxima and Honda Accord Touring are considered "Premium" cars. They are main stream but are larger than the full size Chevy Malibu, Ford Fusion, Buick Regal, Toyota Camry, Hyundai Sonata, Kia Optima, Nissan Altima and lower trims Honda Accord. These "Premium" cars get you ready for the luxury models like the Cadillac XTS, Lincoln Continental, Lexus ES350, Genesis G70 and G80, Infiniti Q50 and Acura TLX, also including models from Mercedes, Audi, Jaguar, BMW etc.
@@SouthsideKidd550 this is the best way to put it. I’ve owned a few ford fusions and my final one was a fully loaded one. And it was NICE. But not a luxury car by any stretch of the imagination. Looks like you got a deal with that last "g" actually the ltz models do have the ambient lighting from door to door through the dash it looks super nice in night
My 08 Malibu LT has ambient lighting. I know this is an impala but you’d think it’d have that. Especially considering it’s newer than my car, and not just a run of the mill LT.

I sold my 2016 impala exactly same as Randy's impala but mine was silver I had 130k miles never had problems with timing chain at all I beat the crap out of it everyday 😅
I love the Chevy impala I will definitely get the last model year LTZ with the V6 Noo they are not luxury cars. Everybody knows that, but they are full size good riding family cars if kept up. Great deal man 😎
400 dollars for the remote start option to be added basically they reprogram the bcm and program 2 new key fabs but I’d honestly keep the Ford but as always great video Randy
Good morning Randy. The 2016 Chevrolet Impala is a great looking car. The Chevrolet Impala is not a luxury car even though they're are some people think that they are luxurious cars.
I had a 2010 Chevy Malibu LTZ that was loaded with the 3.6, except it didn’t have direct injection but I loved that engine cause it would sing when you let it, loved that car and it was decently fast, 0-60 in 6.6 seconds which ain’t bad for an Airport premium rental car. 😂
Good deal on the Impala. Kinda undecided on which car is best but both has have an appeal. The Taurus has its edginess and power while the Impala is more refined and smooth
nah the 2011 and older were easy to work on, they had OHV engines... the 3.6 was notorious for timing chain guide failure! the 3.5/3.9's were simple engines! I'm NOT counting the SS with the 5.3 DOD V8... those are a PITA!
The impala generation prior to yours did have some with “remote starter ready” option. Your maintenance and fuel costs will be lower with impala.....depending on the check engine light....I do believe they had the timing chain issue sorted by ‘16......but I have never seen one with mileage that high.....if codes read Correlation issue......it’s the chain.......which I’m sure you can do and make a great vid! I’ll be watching, cause your vids are entertaining! Thanks and Good Luck!
The Chevy Impala is not a luxury car, but this one drives like one. And it will be badass after having it cleaned, the seat and tires replaced, and everything else that needs to be fixed done. 👍
I bought a 2009 buick lucerne special edition with all the bells and whistles for $2250. I replaced the rear shocks, driver hub, i need brake pads, an oil change, and some seat covers. For under 3k i am riding like a king. For ambient lighting i bought a light strip for along the dash line and floor mood lights (blue) all the luxury I need, and I love it.
Hey you know GM 3.6 V6's have timing chain problems. But the fix seems to be from talk that the EGR is too much for the motor and sends oil to where it doesn't belong. You're supposed to change a gasket which reduces egr openings to resolve it. What would you say? Impalas are nice! Mine I've owned a long time and it's still way good.
From what I've read the timing chain issues were resolved for the 2012+ 3.6 V6, the LFX. The 2011- LLT 3.6 V6 was the one that more commonly developed stretched timing chains.
Randy, really looking forward to your mechanic videos. Get Monkey Wrench Mike and Santa’s Workshop to help you fix the SSR and the Impala. I’m looking forward to watching that content.
Agreed!! Not a luxury car. I owned BMW and Mercedes. They are a very nice car, well compliment but not a luxury car. It does compare to the ford Taurus which is a very nice vehicle as well but not a luxury car either. There are many luxury cars out there and not to be confused with upper midrange automobiles. The Cadillac XT SERIES is actually on (I believe) the Malibu platform but is well beyond the Malibu stature in luxury. Keep up the great work Randy. Call out those who call you out. You rock.
Hey Randy! I love the Chevy Impala. I must say I do see where you are coming from about the Impala not being a luxury car.. it definitely isn’t. Anyways. Have a great day Randy.
I so felt the intensity of your reaction to the smell in the car that I almost hurled here. Anybody that would shoot you over an opinion of a car probably shouldn't have the right to an opinion. I'd still pick the Impala over the pilice car though. Great videos!! 👍🏾
You got a great deal of the impala and Taurus. But sell both at good margins and bring more variety to the Channel. Perhaps, this is a opportunity to cover losses on earlier deals. I guess so. Great videos Randy! Welldone....
You are right. It is nice (when clean 🙂) but It is, of course, not a luxary car. Compare it to the S-class. Look at the materials. Look at the features. Will be interesting to see how it will look when it has been cleaned.

Hey Randy, the Impala is your keeper. Besides like you said the SHO Taurus is about to be delivered. The black pursuit vehicle is cool but you know how quickly you lose interest in your vehicles. Also getting rid of the Audi convertible is a smart move because you know that parts ate going to cost much dinero. Thanks for acquiring American made cars, I enjoy seeing you having homegrown cars for us. 👍
I'm seeing an encouraging trend with these auction cars. Seems like a lot of them get sent to the aution with problems that weren't properly diagnosed. They get sold for cheap because of suspicion of serious problems, which turns out to be minor issues.
I just caught your post about July's views - looking good, and yes your content has been great....I'm hoping you can get back into the shop & film that again soon...love the impala!
Just seen you wanna maybe do sparkplugs with maintenance on Impala you should definitely do it i have a 2015 2lt an there's like a handful of videos showing how to change plugs cuz of the back plugs
Randy I'm 75, so I was around when the Impala was introduced, it was a Sport model of the Bel air. And was always a sport sedan with sport stuff, The Caprice was Cevy's luxury edition, but never in the same level of the Electra 225 Buick. When my kids were little we had a Caprice but it was no more luxurious than the Ford LTD Broughton

I think we should go back to cloth = regular. & leather = premium. And then loose all the screens and electro motors in the seats and windows. That way we can use a car for 25+ years. This impala is a car I would love to see on the roads in Europe. The people who designed this car I applaud you. It looks amazing.

Now these are the kind of vehicles and content I like and miss Randy. I too, always loved the Impala. Almost got one over my Fusion but unless I got a 2LTZ or whatever the trim was it couldn't compare. The V6's I heard with GM could be an issue but with 150K+ this one looks like a good one.
it’s not luxury. but if you want luxury features then you’ll need the LTZ/2LZ. everything is premium, brown interior, 320HP, heated & cooled seats. pano roof, push start, remote start, blind spot sensors, LED daytime running lights, keyless entry. trust me it’s a different animal from the LT.
i own a 2016 Impala Midnight Edition LTZ with only 50k on it. I love mine. has won its class at car shows. great car. Yours does have remote start BUT! its with onstar through the app.
That's how my girlfriend keeps the inside of her car. Lol. I just purchased a 17 Impala LT with a NJ rebuilt title. So far so good. I love the black and chrome.
Ive got a lot of GM bias, so i would probably go Impala, but the twin turbo SHO is a very understandable choice. Even if the Impala was a pearl white premier/LTZ with 20 inch wheels and the sunroof itd still be a hard choice.
That Taurus police car is awesome plus you're absolutely right when you state the impala is not a luxury car because it is not. This car doesn't have what you will find a mercedes or bmw. I'll even include a lexus. Those are luxury! Impala not!
For the money, looks like a great deal. I really don't understand car manufacturers' obsession with killing off sedans. Not all of us are enamored with SUV's.
Another winner winner chicken dinner. Good eye on this one, it's tough just looking at pictures. Can't wait for the next video on it. This should bring good money.
My dad had a 1986 Fairlane fully optioned and he thought it was a luxury car. Panels didn't even fit properly. We parked next to a Merc 190E and he realized it wasn't a luxury car. Everything we had the 190E had. Yes we had a digital dash, typical of the mid 1980's which the 190E didn't and the seats were velour compared too cloth, a 6 instead of a 4cl. The 190E had ABS and panels that actually fitted and aligned up properly. So even though it was a baby Mercedes our car was not luxury, just a nicely appointed large family car.
The Chevy Impala used to be associated with rental cars and fleet vehicles, but now it's a bona fide luxury sedan in its higher trims. what it says online anyway I always thought they were family cars and back in the day SS Trim a muscle car. To each it's own I say,
I think dollar for dollar the Taurus is a better deal. I had a 2016 SHO. It was a great car that got around 25 mpg on the highway. They both have high miles and both seem to run good. I think you did great on both. Don't go getting yourself in trouble with the X-cop car.
1:50 No way!!!!! You got the 3.5 Ecoboost?!!! I'm so jealous... Man i want that so bad! We don't have them here in Europe and i ofter think of getting one, but no one out here know's something about them

I love the Taurus it's definitely my favorite I love Tauruses they are alsome cars I have a 2001 Ford Taurus I've had 3 of them I want a newer one like yours thanks for the videos man 😊
I believe all LT models come with remote start from the factory no matter what, they probably just didn't include the remote to do it. I would suggest programing a remote with the remote start button and it should just work!
Brooooooo you have the most ads on UA-cam.. I like your content but man….. but you’re nickel and diming us…🤣. Hey also your passion for cars is authentic..!
I like the way you introduced this elegant car. I agree with you, its a really beautiful car, but its not a luxury one. It has many features that exite you, but it remains a sort of a family car. Btw, I own one LT 2015 and I like it. For some people its just a normal car, but for many others its more than a luxury car. That depends on their income. It can be somebody's only dream.

Impala not!
Randy every time you bring up that guy your just giving him what he wants man
Man you really made some great deals! Those Audi's... You almost got them for free!
I love with a dog just interrupt the video it's so cute
For the money, looks like a great deal. I really don't understand car manufacturers' obsession with killing off sedans. Not all of us are enamored with SUV's.
Impala cleaned up would be a great daily driver, extra milage isn't going to hurt...but that Interceptor is the bomb for driving.....
Quick tip with the Audi I believe if you click the unlock button 3 times then hold it it’ll put the top down and roll the windows down
These are great cars, love the last Gen Impalas also.
getting that old crown vic running would make for a great video
Might not be literally luxury, but definitely luxury adjacent. Does the OG Impala mark proud.
I rented one for a week, still think of it fondly.
Another winner winner chicken dinner. Good eye on this one, it's tough just looking at pictures. Can't wait for the next video on it. This should bring good money.
My neighbor just a got 2016 with 88k miles she paid $10,500 at dealer it's pretty nice
I 100% agree with you a Chevy Impala is not a luxury car and I am the same way I have always loved them they are nice cars just not luxury cars
Car is like the Kia forte I really like seeing on the channel all the channel one thing for sure MAKE SURE THEY GOT TITLES😂😂😂😂
We don't have them here in Europe and i ofter think of getting one, but no one out here know's something about them
Hi Randy. I know im in Ireland but as a member of the S.I.S (special.intelligence service) I can sort your problem out bro. Thank God your still alive lol😅. Anyway the Impala looks very like a VW Passat. It's so Cheap Randy. Well done buddy 😅😅. Thank God you found the Missing Car. Well done 😅
Don't forget about you tire pump in the back seat. I know you do that for the oh sh-t factor..
Brooooooo you have the most ads on UA-cam..
I like your content but man….. but you’re nickel and diming us…🤣.
Hey also your passion for cars is authentic..!
You got to love this content 😅😅😅 that poor impala been threw hell why do that to a perfect car 🚗 definitely a repo
That is very odd for that Impala to not have remote start. Even the ole Sonic with the whole in oil pan from a long time ago, had remote start.😂
The Chevy Impala used to be associated with rental cars and fleet vehicles, but now it's a bona fide luxury sedan in its higher trims.
I have a 2008 impala. it's not a luxury car but has really nice features for the model. but doesn't compare to any luxury car
