Love my 2015. Cargo and legroom, amazing ! Heavy duty mechanical everything !! Turn off traction and stability control and you are smokin those front wheels. You can buy a basic impala with the 6cyl, 305hp for cheap. Didn t need the 10 000 dollars in options
These cars will cruise 101 mph all day and all night long and very comfortable all the way. I can ride mine for a long period of time. I've been a chevy driver since 1968. My 14 is rated at 306 hp, that's nice. Really, really good gas millage over 70mph.

Very smooth ride, nice power, nice techs, and the built in wifi keeps my five year old quite. I've own several cars and this is by far my favorite and it runs on regular gas. I'm 6'6 and the 45.8 inches of legroom is a blessings.
I just recently purchased a 2019 Chevy Impala and so far it has been a great car. But I discovered when I drive at night on a dimly light road that normal beams are only good for about 25 ft in front of me after that there is a dark area and it is hard to see the road. I took it to a Priority dealership's service department to correct the situation. They told me that was normal for a car with projection headlights. If that is true than GM is violating Federal and State safety regulations on headlights.
I'm 17 at the moment but ever since I drove one of these for my drivers ed classes I've been in love. My school district bought a lot of 2017 impalas for the drivers training part of course.

my 2014 2LT is great! I would love the car but it has a few issues sadly that limit the love for it. However, I do enjoy the improved gas milage vs my old Buick Lucerne. Averaging about 28mpg in the impala which gets me to work 5 days on one tank! Instead of needing a fill on Thursdays! Both are V6s

The 2019 was essentially the same car but I was not a fan of the 20 inch wheels. The 19 and 20 inch wheels were beautiful but the car rode hard. My car has the 18 inch alloy wheels. The Impala's with the 18 inch wheels ride and feel better than the 19 and 20 inch wheels. Even the salesman had to admit my car felt better on the road than the Premier. I live in the Northeast where the roads are full of pot holes. The 19's and 20's would get bent up after hitting the big ones. This car is the best. Too bad Chevy is not continuing to build it. They are not selling because Chevy is not putting any advertising money behind the car. If they did, the car would sell like hot cakes. It's all GM's fault. They are doing this by design. The head of GM should be fired.

Powerful like a v8 but fairly decent gas mileage. The 4 cylinder lacks a bit when you need acceleration like as in passing another vehicle.
Bill Forrester I agree, GM has done a great job in improving the V6 engine. It’s in most of their cars now taking over the V-8 engine. I researched and the four-cylinder turbo engines have heating problems. They’re not as refined as the V-6 naturally aspirated.

@@RANDsreviews I agree with you there I think a lot people hate on the car because they dislike gm for one reason or another I think all the car makers have great vehicles these days I'm not picking sides and everyone has there own taste but from my experience impala is a good buy as long as you dont get gauged at the dealership with all the different warranties and what not.
I got a 2018 lt ....same color i fucking love that car. I had a 2015 malibu before liked it lot too but the impala was a major improvement ! Super sad to see it go, it's probably the best sedan they made in this era.
@@hjohnny89 I only had the Impala for a few days. No problems of course. I have heard the turbo in the 4-cylinder engine can get super hot. You may want to ask one of my viewers who commented. Lots of them have Impalas. Also research on consumer reports, and the internet. You can make your best decision from there.
@@hjohnny89 I have the 2015 Impala LTZ with the 2.5L and have 112k miles. At around 55k miles the Blind Spot module failed due to corrosion and had that replaced under the extended warranty. Then at 110k miles the heater core started leaking and had to be replaced. Overall I love the car and gets 33mpg on the highway for me.
I have a 2017 LT and I love it. I drive mostly highway and have an average of 25.5 mpg. The car is fairly sporty with the 305 hp, it can get moving pretty quick. I have had only 1 issue with the car, the notorious taillight gasket issue that causes water in the trunk, so I had to replace those gaskets.
Is there no issue in the U.S. about the torque converter of the mission? In Korea, there is a chronic issue of torque converter around 100,000 miles. It needs to be replaced for about 1000 dollars.
love this car stearing is very smooth and seats are very classy. interior of the car look classy too. was searching any negative review on this car but i wasnt able to see
Still have my 2011, great car still, 186,000 . There is a long hill on the highway, called the mile hill, climbs over 500 ft. Hit the bottom at 70, floored it, got it to 110 mph, climbing that hill! Plenty of power and comfortable car.😊
LOVE Mine!!! I'm 6'2" 275, & longer torso. Have to by 2XTall shirts. Even under the big Sunroof...I fit!!! That NEVER happens!!! Rear seats....same thing. I was dumbfounded when I could sit upright, in the BACK. This is a MAN'S Car. Mine is a loaded Burgundy 2015 LTZ, all options except the Radar-Cruise. Also have the big 20" wheels. She rides firmer with the big Low-profile 20's, but I don't like marshmallow-suspensions anyway! She runs strong, because I ONLY use Top-Tier Premium, & some Seafoam once a month. I keep her polished fairly decent too. Getting better with my 2 ROM Polishers!
I have 2002 Chevrolet E-X 4 door car in Navy Misty Blue plus Black trim body also Baby Blue plus Black trim with Wood grain to also I am 6 foot 7inches tall plus fit perfect too! I had one recall for Key Ignition switch fix only ever but best #1 car ever bought in my life and reminds of big Caddy car from 1970'S but not ! It made feeling HAPPY all options has and best fuel saver on fuel mileage!
I have a 2011, with 71k miles on it today. This car is all that and more, I can just imagine a 2019? The power house under the hood, yes it could have embarrassed the Harley rider. My car will still get up and go. Once the young kids realize what grandpa is driving, they might rethink what they are driving?
I use to have an impala & I loved it. It would be the perfect car if it was an AWD. I switched to a Dodge Charger GT AWD but I still like the impala. It's a shame chevy doesn't make AWD sedans
Randy...I've been impressed with this vehicle for several years...especially what Consumer Reports had reviewed about the car. I'm bit over 6 feet. Glad to know it's easy for people my size and, age (71) who can get in and out of it. I'm in favor of the V6. Wonder if any of them are still around in this year(2021) that I have first seen your review via UA-cam? Next year, I'll be in the mood for sure for a "new car" to replace my near 18 year old Subaru Forester.
You’ll appreciate The telescopic steering wheel. It comes out pretty far for tall people unlike Japanese cars. Chevrolet pretty much stopped making them at the end of 2020 for the 2021 models. You may have to go out of state to get one. There are far from few of them left.
Ihave a 94 pathfinder sedan still drives just done oil change n spark plug change drives like a new cars go fast as a new car bro I just think old school is better last longer
I have a 2014 3.6L V6 and can get 30 to 31 mpg out on the highway driving between 70 and 75 mph. City mileage kind of sucks, though, unless I'm making a trip across town. I drive short distances from my home and am lucky to get 15mpg driving short hops to work and the store. If I need to make a further trip across town then it can get up to 19mpg. It gets less mileage when driven on short hops and the engine doesn't have enough time to completely warm up. I really love this car, though - owned it since it was new.
I bought this New last August and the sticker was $34K and change I got over $9K off and I was joking when I said I wanted 10K off sticker and they came back with 9K off. I had already test drove it and fell in love after test driving 4 Mid Sized Sedans and the Civic. The Fully equipped Midsized sedans where up at $36K. SO this was a STEAL and much quieter ride and I love the Pano Roof in Red Tint Coat.. I have had 4 Impalas since 2001 base, 2002 Loaded LS, 2005 Loaded LS with Sport Appearance Package, and now the newest model. I had the 2005 until 2018.
Thanks for this review. It was what convinced me to go with the Impala. I was looking for something to replace my aging 20 year old Pontiac minivan but something more roomy than our 2018 Honda Civic hatchback. I don’t like trucks and I really dislike SUVs. but minivans are very expensive and few and far between anymore plus overkill with almost grown children.. A wagon would be great but the VW Sportwagen is too small (tighter back seats than our Civic) and a Subaru Outback is too expensive. Started looking at the Subaru Legacy and seeing if I could get away with just a regular sedan like a Camry or Accord, but then I started seeing ads for these Impalas and they were super cheap. Took one for a test drive and fell in love. It reminded me a lot of my Oldsmobile Cutlass I owned in the 90s. Lots of room, lots of power, and (for the time) lots of tech while being both comfortable and sporty at the same time. I got 2019 LT1 that was an ex rental. Because of COVID, it only had 12,000 km (7500 miles) on it and I got it for almost $20,000 CDN less than the sticker price of $42,000 a mere 9 months before. It drives like a dream. The best thing I like about it is it’s ability to do unlaboured acceleration. A four cylinder car.. you need to downshift. A turbo like my Civic, you need to wait for the turbo to spool. This? You can speed up a lot before demand a downshift.
I had a 2011 BMW 335i that stayed in the shop after it surpassed 50k miles. At 99k the transmission started slipping and I purchased a brand new 2015 Impala LS (basic model). I had to carry about $12k of negative equity in it so I was definitely paying too much. I drove the Impala from 2016-2020 and I loved the space, ride and reliability. I sold the Impala this year (July) and was missing it. I have a Chevy truck (2020 Trail boss LT) and was wanting a car so I don’t put all the miles on the truck. I saw a 2019 LT. Same color as my LS. I purchased it for a great price! Way cheaper than the brand new LS! I love the LT! So many upgrades from the base LS! I can’t stop driving it! Wish we can post pics. I had an Audi A7 (2019) that I traded for the Trail Boss. That is a superior car but I actually love this LT!!!
Chevys are way underrated for their reliability. Thanks for sharing! I love the Impala also. It’s too bad their discontinuing it as well as the Malibu. I’ll be reviewing a 2021 Silverado Trail Boss soon. Thanks for tuning in.
I got a Ford Taurus but I kind of wish I had gotten one of these instead. The only reason I didn't look into it was I was having a difficult time finding a used one that was loaded.
Well that's a lot better , exhaust tips that are not connected to the exhaust pipe because when you change your exhausts for replace or anything like that then you don't have to worry about the chrome tips that's amazing
In 2004 the PPH rating gave that years Impala the highest rating of all full size sedans. That was a rating higher than BMW, Mercedes, Lexus etc. so I bought one. Biggest pile next to my Trailblazer I ever purchased. I have decided that besides a full size truck or corvette I will no longer purchase a high priced Chevrolet.
We have one (2016)and I so badly wish they still made them because I'd buy one for myself :( not even the so called mighty Avalon (2022) stand up to this beauty.
If only their quality, transmissions, and electronics would hold up Although I have issues with the one that I drive it does have amazing leg room and cargo space. Also I enjoyed the vid :)
news story this week, too, that the factory is, indeed, being shuttered to retool to make a battery "van" platform, probably for fleet trucks, vans and SUVs.
My wife bought one. It's nice, but the only complaint i have is when she uses the bluetooth and calls me using the stereo i can literally hear every bump pothole and cracl in the road its horrible. Amyone know what's up with that?
There's no reason why you shouldnt. Brand new, the car is still under full warranty. There's nothing is wrong with the car just sales are down. SUV sales are up. That's why they're discontinuing the car. Not because the car is bad.
Sad to see the Impala go as American brands are unable to compete with Asian brand cars give up. The first & only American brand car I’ve driven in 30 years was an Impala. I loved the size/shape (reminded me of Buick LaSabre, Toyota Avalon). It would have been nice if 4.3L V6, 3.0L turbo diesel, or 5.3L V8 were offered.
I have a 2015 limited model which is a old style (06-13) and I really wanted this one as my first car in the LTZ trim with the sunroof, but sucks to hear it's no longer being continued. Maybe I'll get one once I pass my car down to my little brother.

You forgot to mention the 11 speaker Centrepoint Soundstage Bose system that absolutely rocks! Give it a listen. You will be impressed!
Very happy with my 2012, I think Im gonna grab another since they're being discontinued. Its too bad this might be the best sedan GM ever made.
I have a 2010 LTZ and a 2015 2LT. I'm going to trade the 2LT for a brand new 2018.
Many have said this same thing! I picked up a 2019 Premier recently. Love it. GM will continue production into 2020 now.
I think Buick LaCrosse is better, just my personal thought cuz the material in Buick is better
My first impala was a 06 and now I have a 2014 LT, love my car took it across country multiple times had it for about 5 years now and still drive like fine wine
I agree ! The Impala was one of Chevys best cars especially with the strong and dependable non turbo v6z
I have a 2014 ltz impala... love love it
this one has an upgraded front end
I have a 2015 ltz 2lz bought it brand new it has a 126,000 km and never had a problem other then a fuse for sun roof great car cant say anything bad about it
That's what i'm saying. Do regular maintenance, wash and wax and the car will last over 100k miles with low cost maintenance unlike most German cars.
Yes! Ty for showing the ambient lighting! It always gets over looked, and it's a nice surprise should you find yourself in the impala at night
You’re Welcome Trizzy!
When I drive my LTZ at night I feel like Tron on the way to the game grid. 👾
I got a 2018 lt ....same color i fucking love that car. I had a 2015 malibu before liked it lot too but the impala was a major improvement ! Super sad to see it go, it's probably the best sedan they made in this era.
i totally agree!
Have you had any issues with your impala
The 2.5l does not come with a turbo. Not sure where that information is coming from.
Really enjoy my 2017 premier! Chevy badge and all!
I just purchased one for my Birthday. What a great present! The Impala Premire is definitely my Big Boy Toy! Happy Happy B-day, to me.😁
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Congratulations!!!
polopnutt God bless you and happy birthday 10 months ago, or happy early birthday 2 months from now. 😄
I have 2017 impala LT. Loving it
I am driving my 2016 impala LT since last 3.5 years, now around 85000 kms no problem so far, smooth and quiet to drive. I love it.
love this car stearing is very smooth and seats are very classy. interior of the car look classy too. was searching any negative review on this car but i wasnt able to see
I just got my 2019 Impala premiere last week I love this car the look and the interior it's amazing.
I agree. Congratulations! Enjoy!!!
Chevy needs to bring back the Impala SS & the Caprice Clasaic
Impala SS drop top with 5L V8 rear wheel drive would be the shizzit.
Great review!
Just bought one myself this week.
Still have my 2011, great car still, 186,000 . There is a long hill on the highway, called the mile hill, climbs over 500 ft. Hit the bottom at 70, floored it, got it to 110 mph, climbing that hill! Plenty of power and comfortable car.😊
@@RonDoiron-pz3ee the Impala is so under rated. You drive like you stole your car! 😂
Im a chevy guy had a 55 chevy, 65 chevy Beaumont, and 2 chevy Impala. Love the impala LT. Best car ever made. Best bang for buck guaranteed. 😊
V6 is super good! They need to stick a Corvette 6.2 Liter V8 under the hood. 😁😀 And add a SS to the badge.
I just bought an 18 and love it I’m sad they are not going to continue making the Impala
i love them too!
I use to have an impala & I loved it. It would be the perfect car if it was an AWD. I switched to a Dodge Charger GT AWD but I still like the impala. It's a shame chevy doesn't make AWD sedans
FCA, get outta here. worse cars made. Unlesss its srt392 or hellcat or demon. Americans make solid V8s
Very well built car, love the room in ours!
I agree!
I have a 2.5 4 cylinder,it has plenty of power and great mileage,a nice car and reliable
@@nealschebell7545 is your four-cylinder turbo?
They should of never discontinued this vehicle it was one of a kind
Totally agree!!!
I just got this car last year for a steal.. 2018 premier trim... Love love love it. Smooth ride, it has some zip as well when you need it.
I agree!
I have a 2006 Impala and I love it.
The only Chevy I'd seriously consider looking into
I have a 2002 Impala and it is still going
Matt S you’re damn right it is.👍🏼✨
Ihave a 94 pathfinder sedan still drives just done oil change n spark plug change drives like a new cars go fast as a new car bro I just think old school is better last longer
I don't normally comment about things on UA-cam, but this car needs to be continued, needs a awd version, and a ss version
D Short I agree. It’s a really good 🚘.
Your absolutely right. It’s very capable and better than their 4 turbos. The Impala’s V6 is underrated and one of the best.
This would have been great if it it had a column mounted shifter and front split bench seat!
👍👍👍 NICE!
PS. Of course I subscribed :) 👍👍👍
Loved the review! Thanks!!!
love this car... had the opportunity to rent it during my business trip to New Jersey and Dubai..... well made car... pity it is not sold in Malaysia
Love my 2017 LT. Got it on a good price in 2017 used; i never buy brand new.
I was surprised they offered it in a 4 cylinder , it's a beautiful car though and an SS with a manual would have been nice.
mrlafayette1964 I agree. The V6 is a sleeper that no one really acknowledges. It’s super smooth and enough power. Probably reliable too.
I got one but the AC is usually cutting, I changed the compressor but the problem still
Thanks for this review.
Bartonovich52 Congratulations! I love the Impala. Thank you for watching!!! Take care!
I definitely love my 2017 impala...
Wutt about the 2018 4Cylinder, is tht a good buy as well??
I got a Ford Taurus but I kind of wish I had gotten one of these instead. The only reason I didn't look into it was I was having a difficult time finding a used one that was loaded.
Well that's a lot better , exhaust tips that are not connected to the exhaust pipe because when you change your exhausts for replace or anything like that then you don't have to worry about the chrome tips that's amazing
There’s a hidden compartment hidden in the infotainment screen by hitting a button the screen gose up
In 2004 the PPH rating gave that years Impala the highest rating of all full size sedans. That was a rating higher than BMW, Mercedes, Lexus etc. so I bought one. Biggest pile next to my Trailblazer I ever purchased. I have decided that besides a full size truck or corvette I will no longer purchase a high priced Chevrolet.
Great review. I look forward to buying one soon.
We have one (2016)and I so badly wish they still made them because I'd buy one for myself :( not even the so called mighty Avalon (2022) stand up to this beauty.
we love our 2016 limited it is a good choice for mature people
The trunk thing was super cool
Thank you!
man, I absolutely love this bodystyle of impala reminicent of my 1996 SS with muscular angles I dont even mind it beeing FWD cruiser
Me too!!!
If only their quality, transmissions, and electronics would hold up
Although I have issues with the one that I drive it does have amazing leg room and cargo space. Also I enjoyed the vid :)
What problem did you have?
@@AmericanKendoll I had a 2018 impala and the transmission went out just when the warranty expired.
@@applepoop10 damn it 😕
Never had a single problem with any of ours.
This is my dream car!
I have a '13 LTZ, which is the old body style has the newer 300hp LFX powertrain. I like my knobs and buttons more than a touchscreen.
news story this week, too, that the factory is, indeed, being shuttered to retool to make a battery "van" platform, probably for fleet trucks, vans and SUVs.
I currently have a 2004 Impala LS, one day I’m going to look into trading up to a newer model of the Impala. This model is one that I’m looking at.
2020 is the last year for sedans in the Chevy lineup crazy
I have a last year model 2020 premier. Its such a comfortable and beautiful car
I totally agree with you. I love the impala. Too bad it’s discontinued….
I had a 2007 for 11 years reliable and saves gas on flex fuel compared to other cars I have gonna buy another only if its flex fuel
My wife bought one. It's nice, but the only complaint i have is when she uses the bluetooth and calls me using the stereo i can literally hear every bump pothole and cracl in the road its horrible. Amyone know what's up with that?
No idea never had that issue ...
Because you’re still on vacation.
Is it a good idea to get this car if it's being discontinued??
Look at that car 😍...I gotta own it 🤤
WOW this amazing car this is my dream
I have a 2015 limited model which is a old style (06-13) and I really wanted this one as my first car in the LTZ trim with the sunroof, but sucks to hear it's no longer being continued. Maybe I'll get one once I pass my car down to my little brother.
It is sad how this was the best car in the 1960s now it gone
It’s still here and it won’t go away.✨
