Yea. I'm not sure what my favourite album is by Breaking Benjamin really; I like them all and they'll always be my favourite band.
Guys, Breaking Benjamin is on HIATUS! That mean's they're taking a break. It was recently announced that Ben Burnley was going to do a collaboration with Three Days Grace's former singer; Adam Gontier.
Ya those songs are gona be amazing. I actually get the same vibe with this album as I did with "We Are Not Alone."

I'd say your right. It does sound closer to Phobia. And as far as the album, I agree with you completely. I love this album. I don't think I love it as much as Phobia but it comes pretty damn close.
on top of that, Ben is getting over his smoking habit and I think he's trying to get rid of a few of his Phobia's as well. He's working on rebuilding himself, and he has alot of stuff in his head that's spilling out in the lyrics. So the darker tone is definately representative, and needed.
Got this album yesterday. I've listened to it about 10 times now but still not sure what to make of it. I think all the songs are amazing up to track 7 but then it seems to go downhill after that. "What Lies Beneath" is the stand out track for me, its just amazing. I'd probably give this album a solid 7/10. That could change though, maybe I need to listen to it some more ... but its just what I think

Does anyone else think this album sounds somewhat of a mix between Phobia and Saturate?
This album totally kicks ass. Dear Agony and Give Me A Sign are my favorites.
It does have a softer selection of songs though, I love their strong guitar riffs, So cold, until the end etc.
There's just something that makes a song with the word "Crawl" in it to be bad :b (Linkin Park, Hoobastank etc..)
Can't wait!
All of it sounds great instrumentally. I need some new drum tracks to cover :D

I can see what you're saying actually; there are elements of previous albums. When I listened to the new album, I thought that it sounded closesr to Phobia, brilliant album though.

from what ive found out only 2 members where kicked and they want to make more music last info heard ben was in hospital maybe for two reason taking drugs mainly alcohol or his mental state he panics in the dark thats one album is called phobia but this info is 2 yrs old so i dont no about now

how has this changed, its still got intensity and great melodic stuff, and as far as grace's i agree it really disapointed me.
Yeah I get that mainstream comment, which is why Dear Agony is looking so good. It seems like they're going back to their pre-Phobia style.
The thing is, I don't know if it'll even go onto the UK store, or maybe it just takes more time? WTF lol
my favourite album is saturate but this is fcking awesome too (phobia and we are not alone too :P )

Saturate's only my 3rd favourite (counting only the 4 released albums). I don't get why people hold it on a pedestal. Probably just people who think that if they claim to like it the most, that other people will think they're hardcore, old school fans.

I love BB, Phobia was fanfuckingtastic, but i dare any1 to say every song on this album doesnt sound the same. Live youd hardly tell the dif i bet. They need to mixxx up the beat and choruses sooo much more!!

Dear Agony is way better than Phobia
Hrmm, I'm gonna buy it anyway, but most of the songs sound the same. Except for I Will Not Bow, they mostly sound like BB's other albums mixed together. Give Me A Sign sounds interesting though.

I disagree sh00tabunny.. I think the new album is the best of all.. for example Fade Away and Give Me a Sign are so awesome. Far better than TDG..
