Breaking Benjamin is one of the best bands ever created. Hands down. Lead singer & the vocals, the messages in the music, lyrics, beat etc. Hands down. One of the greatest. Easy to listen, get's you pumped and in a strong mood. Hands down. Best.

They're even better in person. I can't explain the feeling I got when I heard his voice live for the first time. I couldn't stop crying man... I still sometime get emotional just listening to his music. I just saw them with Avenged Sevenfold and Bullet for My Valentine. An experience I'll never forget...

That’s probably the deepest line I’ve ever heard in a song.
The lines "I'll keep you inside, where I lead you cannot follow" are to me the lyrics that hit the deepest. They remind me of my brother. I love this song, and this band as well.

I respect any kind of music no matter whither I like it or not like rap music for example, I don't like it but I don't underrated it either.
My favorite part is 2:24 to 2:44. "Where I lead you can not follow" Love that line.
I always loved BB but he earned all my respect when he wrote this. He wrote it for military service members. It's a back and forth between soldiers who have fallen in battle and the soldiers trying to save them and get them home. As a combat veteran this hits me in the feels hard. This is the one song they have that has a definitive meaning.

I listen to it when I get depressed and it helps me sink to the point that I can fix it and not be stuck trying to claw my way back up to being ok and being stuck in the middle hell of it all, and it helps me understand what I'm going through and gives me a way to channel it when no one wants to listen

Whenever I hear this I think of 2 bestfriends who joined the army, in the battle they fought side by side and one of them gets shot and injured, the other friend gets very angry and kills every enemy he see's, but more come and the rest of the soldiers retreat, the injured friend tells his buddy to save himself and fall back with the rest of his squad, but the friend says "I won't leave and let you fall behind" and as the friend carries him to safety he gets shot in the back and they both fall over, as they lay side by side, they feel finally at peace but the enemies come closer and they see a white light. The first time I heard this song I had terrible flashbacks to my time in combat. It’s not a subtle song. Come to find out, he actually wrote this song for current and dead military service members and vets. I don’t know if they still do, but they always played this at every show and dedicated to all of us regardless of what tour they were on and what album they were promoting.

I'm'a be honest here ... this song got me through a really rough night years ago. I was in pure agony from some sickness, a sickness that in hindsight, may have been far worse than I knew. However, I kept repeating the chorus of this song over and over, and so I made it through the night.
When I hear this song I think of a weary veteran fighting to keep his squad alive in a losing war after losing his entire family to the same war he fights in.

Out of all of those, I listen to breaking benjamin, three days grace, not a whole lot of RED. I listen to Skillet, and I love TFK. I never listened to nine lashes, anthem of the lonely. I've heard one song by Eveanescence, I dont really listen to them. and I hate Linkin Park. So, kind of got it right.. idk

Is it just me or does this song scream "Mass Effect"? Let's see:

"Leave me at the bottom,/I am lost forever" may refer to the Leviathan race, the creators of the Reapers. "All will be abandoned/None will shine..." etc. refers to all the dead that Shepard couldn't save - Thane, Mordin, (possibly) Miranda, Legion. Shepard is the "broken" in "Gather the broken and leave this life", he dies (his consciousness as Shepard) in his final attempt to save the Earth from the Reapers by controlling them and thus becoming the new Reaper master consciousness. "I'll keep you inside/Where I lead, you cannot follow" is directed at Shepard's closest friends(Garrus, Tali, Grunt, Wrex, Liara andKaidan/Ashley), and his romantic interest, the Shepard they knew is now dead.
Well, that's my own analysis of the song. I know it actually has nothing to do with Mass Effect game series, but, you see, that's the beauty of songs - you can interpret them however you want and you can't be wrong, because that would be your own interpretation. Surely the songwriter had something very different in mind when he wrote it.
